CrossFit Parallax

Friendly members and coach. We were a group of five and had a good drop in experience. This gym is huge with a lot of equipment, really nice space!

Way newer facility than is in all these review images as they moved to a newer building. I’m not very concerned by the actual building though. I travel for work internationally all year and have been to dozens of boxes. What gets me here is coach/owner Rachel’s everlasting positive energy. It is really infectious. She feels genuinely excited to be there every single day. For someone like me who isn’t crazy self motivated, her positivity really rubs off on me. The classes you would expect are great. Also they really go the extra mile here with having events, parties, contests etc.

I dropped in twice last week while my family was in Avalon for Easter weekend. As I am still somewhat new to CF, Rachel was extremely helpful in making me feel comfortable at a new box and sent me the WOD for the day I was attending so I knew what to expect. She is also a very knowledgeable and encouraging coach and instructor. The members were also very welcoming and nice, and had no hesitation including me, as I also attended a partner workout. I will definitely be back when my family goes back to Avalon this summer for vacation.

I dropped into classes here for a week while I was on vacation, and absolutely loved it! The staff and gym members were welcoming and friendly, the trainers were excellent at meeting me where I'm at on my own fitness level and pushing me to reach my best potential, and the 1 week drop-in pass was a great price for all that it gets you. I'll definitely be coming back here anytime I'm in town! :)

First time visitor while staying with my family in Ocean City. Loved the welcoming community and high quality coaching offered by Rachel. Found my go-to for when I come back to the area.
