Bruce McCorry's Martial Arts

Our two boys have been attending classes for about 2 years now. What we love about Bruce McCorry's is the family atmosphere, and the very high instructor to student ratio. The turnover of both students and instructors is very low, so it feels like a family rather than a YMCA class or town sports team. It's not uncommon to see six instructors even on a slow day with 10 kids, and the instructors are long-time veterans, many in the school since they were kids. Our kids love the physical games they play, the wide variety of snacks they provide, and they always have a smile when they're training. Both kids also love the summer program, lots of field trips and fun physical games, and having training every day really advanced their skill level. With martial arts the number of choices of schools can be overwhelming, but we feel Bruce McCorry's is the best combination of family feel, fun, but also discipline - the kids are very well behaved, they run a tight ship, and don't allow fooling around. Our six year old talks about one day joining the demo team and being an instructor. It's the kind of place your kids will want to be a part of for many years to come.

One of my sons went years ago & another one has been going for a few years now. Master McCorry & Miss Sandra are wonderful! They know & enjoy what they’re doing . They do so much for the kids ( after school program different events )they teach all ages from kids to adults & everyone in between also with disabilities….its the same as it was years ago. I’m glad my son is going there!!! Wonderful place to learn Martial arts…. they dedicate themselves to all that join . Truly a wonderful place!!!!! & People!!!!

My kids love it here! They have learned so much in just a year (less for my younger child who started at age 3). The instructors are so patient and kind. My kids have made some great friends here as well. Lastly, the after school program has been amazing and my school-aged child loves it!

My son started taking classes here at age 3. He was an extremely energetic kid that needed focus and guidance on how to control his body, quiet his mind, and channel emotions positively. Bruce Mccory’s martial arts gave him all of this and more in the last year and a half. They make learning martial arts fun while learning discipline and respect. I highly recommend their program.
