Choice Fitness Methuen West

Finally after fe months membership is canceled. I had been going to the Gym to cancel the membership since the beginning of this year I was told to cancel after cotract was over. I went back on February and was asked to see a manager. I could not go until March 16, manager was not present and membership was not cancel. I went back again and manager was not present. On march 29 Manager called and mentioned that was cancel that I would get on last payment. After that, I got charge the last payment plus the annual fee almost $80.00 for both. I went to the gym maybe 10 times in 1 year. I signed up online was super easy. To cancel has been a headache. I just got a receipt that it has been cancel Yesterday when I wad told over the phone that was cancel on th 29 but did not get a receipt until Yesterday. Hopefully next year I don't have extra charges. I hope that people do no go to this horrible experience when closing a membership at any Gym. Nice gym, nice people but not great at making the right decision.

It's a busier gym but the staff are great. Stephanie is always pleasant and everything is generally very clean. 4 stars only because it's a bit busy for me but otherwise I think it's a 5 star place.

My niece got enrolled and then when she canceled, they continued charging. My niece cancelled the card and continued trying to collect monthly non existent fees. Although they found the cancellation information, they requested money in exchange for cancelling again. Please be aware about their predatory business tactics, preying on the hispanic community to continue charging fees despite cancelling. We will be filing a formal business complaint.

There's a great variety of people here and the staff members at the desk always remember me. I often see staff members hard at work cleaning the equipment/floors, fixing things, or providing amazing customer service. But sometimes there's a cluster of people taking over an area you wanna be in so you have to wait a while to uses certain equipment. But that rarely happens and since it's a smaller gym that's understandable. Overall it's a very nice and well maintained gym.

I personally love this gym. The atmosphere is inviting and open, the staff is super friendly. It is very well kept and all the machines are cleaned multiple times a day. The other members are also friendly and make it a wholesome gym to be a part of. I would recommend Choice Methuen West to anyone.
