Back in October 2023, I reached a point in my life where I was in constant pain, heavier, and more unhealthy than I had been in years. I was lacking in energy, strength, and my mental state had gone through some serious deterioration. It was at this point I made the decision to change my life. Working with a health team, and a surgery later, I had gotten to the point in early May of 2024 where I knew the next step was to start exercising again. It was at this time, I saw an ad for a local business called Transcend Training. They said, "Come in for a free consultation, we are looking for people who want to change their lives." I figured it could not hurt to give this shot, and at the very least, I could see what was possible. My appointment with Peyton lasted about an hour, and I told her my story. She listened intently and actively, asking questions, and you could see a plan forming in her mind. It was such a positive experience. I got my clearance to begin physical activity and had my first session in mid-May. Now, I have said all of this to say the following: Transcend Training has completely transformed and continues to transform my journey to better health! The personal trainers are incredibly knowledgeable and supportive, tailoring workouts to my specific needs and goals. The atmosphere is welcoming and motivating, making it easy to stay consistent and you absolutely cannot walk-in without a smile forming and having a good time while working out. The energy in this place is palpably positive in the best way. I said recently, "I never thought I would actually look forward to exercising and WANT to come in and workout." More often than not, my sessions with Peyton at Transcend Training are exactly what I need and the progress has been evident. I've seen significant improvements in my strength, endurance, and overall well-being. There really are not enough words for me to recommend this place and its people as much as they deserve! If you are serious about wanting to get stronger, healthier, and happier, get in here and get on it! You will be glad you did! Whether it be personal training, team training, or stretch therapy, they can pretty well do it all!

Was I scared to start? YES! Was it worth the free consultation? ABSOLUTELY! In having issues with inflammation and wanting to start with bare bones and work my way up to working out, I couldn’t have asked for better support. The atmosphere when entering the gym isn’t like entering “another gym”. It doesn’t smell like a gym, give off the vibe of only certain people can workout here, it is an environment that everyone is welcome here vibe. Each week I look forward to the support, accountability, and goals that I set with Tanya. She is honest, open and supportive 110%. It’s the best motivation in a serious and upbeat environment. In the short time I have been going, I feel I have become part of a family and not just a number. The atmosphere is friendly, and most are willing to share where they started. They admit that the struggle is real, but to keep coming and listen to what Tanya is saying. They truly meet you where you are and want you to be the best you can be. The atmosphere at the gym is amazing—positive, welcoming, and never intimidating. I’ve even worked out with Peyton, and it was such a comfortable and supportive experience. Everyone here makes you feel like you belong, no matter where you’re starting from. I have been going to Transcend for almost 3 years. I am very happy with my results. My strength has increased steadily through my workouts with Tanya. I have also recently started Stretch Therapy with Chris. I saw immediate results with my mobility. My job requires me to get into and out of cars and walk a lot with 25-30 pounds of equipment. After the first week I noticed I was more comfortable moving around.
