Lyons Xsport really needs to be upgraded. Looks like this one was forgotten compare to other Xsport Gym locations. Water is leaking from the roof when raining, fans not working properly, sink faucets still not touch less, paper towel dispensers old without automatic sensors. Spa area needs to be cleaned especially personal infrared sauna. No changes. Getting worse by day. Tanning beds out for already 3weeks, air is muggy and stinks inside the gym lots of machines broken and not fixed more than 2 weeks already. Old machines still here since 2002. No improvements has been made. Music never playing here, more than half TVs not working. Update as of today 10/21/2022 All pictures taken today. Only one improvement was made instead of 1TV now 3TVs is working 🤣🤣🤣we still stuck in 1990 🤣🤣🤣

I've been in this gym for almost a year. and I already had to do this review because it is incredible that we are still in the same condition. They have incredible instructors who do a beautiful job and motivate us to go to the gym, but physically the gym is getting worse and worse and we are not paying a low fee to not have basic services. Since I have been there, the classroom does not have A/C. How is it possible that in classes we only have one fan and some on the ceiling when sometimes there are more than 30 people trying to take the classes. It is not possible that apart from that we have been without sound for 3 months, the sound broke down and they have not fixed it. You work with a speaker that is not the same, no matter how incredible the instructors are and they do their best work. but the gym does not give him good conditions. Now this week a day without water refill as it is possible that there is not or that they have an alternative. In short, not only are they broken machines but they do not provide a suitable space to be comfortable in the gym. More than one person prefers to go to another gym, those of us who stay and continue going there only because they have very good instructors but they and we deserve to have a healthy and healthy space.

Overall the facility is very dirty, the unpleasant smell of sweat is overpowering as soon as you walk in. There has been a banner inside of the building stating that there is going to be a ~$800,000 remodel. Unfortunately it has been there for over a year now and the conditions of the facilities are still deplorable. There are dozens of lockers in the women's locker room that are unusable because they are broken. The pool water is very often cloudy and many of the patrons do not even bother to wear swimsuits. They just jump in wearing underwear, which is pretty disgusting and unhygienic. There is a swimsuit drying machine in the women's locker room that has not been fixed in months despite several messages to management/facilities. A lot of the times people dont even get checked in, they just walk past the front desk, most of them in large groups. Also, parking is a nightmare at this location. If you go at peak hours you'll be lucky to find anything due to the fact that the parking lot is pretty small and shared by an Aldi and a Marshall's. Until the conditions are better, I dont think I'll be returning to this location. EDIT: I've attached photos of the gross women's restroom with photos of the lockers that are broken/useless.

Please fix the Men's steam room. It has been down now for two weeks straight. Update 1/21/23. Sanitation and cleanliness are definitely not a priority at this location.

If your looking for a good old fashion clang and bang workout, no baby bs, this is a good place to go. Good amount of equipment, I’d say a few levels up from Planet fitness (I still go to mine) If you want a clean, downtown, expensive gym… then go downtown, this gym is def for gym rats!
