Not veteran/military friendly. Urge any military families and vets not to visit this YMCA due to the lack of professionalism and knowledge about policies and benefits for vets. Morning Front desk is especially rude, narcissistic, and arrogant. No respect for service members. Truly disgusted. I have been coming to this Y since I was 7 years old; to have my own family who served to be treated with such disrespect and provoked, is why I will not support them no longer.

When you call you can never get correct information from the front desk re: pool hours. Super sloppy. The south side YMCA is a million times more reliable for actual athletes and families

I echo the previous review regarding the pool and poor communication from the staff, and just a general lack of customer service. This was my first time at this Y and had an excellent experience at my previous YMCAs in Cincinnati. I called ahead to confirm how late the pool would be open for lap swim that evening. I arrived about an hour later only to be told the pool was closed and the life guards were at a training. This is unacceptable having just called an hour earlier and being told the pool would be open that evening. No apology and a rude response from staff as though this were perfectly normal. I won’t be keeping my membership either. This situation was completely avoidable and I’m sure I’m not alone based on this experience.

The facilities are all cleaned and up to date and very easy to navigate. Staff were very friendly and helpful with instructions. Great place to spend a day with the family!

I had a good experience with the gym overall but I came to cancel my membership and the “rule” is you have to cancel the membership before the firsts 15 days of the month otherwise you are going to be charge for the next month. Is like “WHY”? other gyms doesn’t have this ridiculous rule to cancel the membership during the first 15 days of the month. THANK YOU, now I’m going to be charge for October and I won’t be able to enjoy it beacuse I couldn’t and I DIDNT KNOW that I had to do it before September 15. It’s just pathetic.
