Manakoa Gymnastics

My girls have been going to Manakoa for over 5 years. They have the best coaches, the facility is clean and organized, and has a family like environment. The coaches communicate with you and are very responsive to emails/calls. They actively participate in competitions both locally & nationally, making sure the gymnasts are ready for what’s ahead. Not only do they provide teaching of gymnastic skills, they give the gymnasts a sense of pride, belonging, self confidence, and learning how to work with and respect others. It truly is like a family. Highly, highly recommend if you’re looking for a place to send your child.

Manakoa Gymnastics made my daughter feel welcomed, loved and part of a community. The coaches are so kind, thoughtful, kind hearted, caring and willing to teach with patience. I am so glad I chose Manakoa. We've had such a great experience. Your child will not only gain new skills but confidence at the same time. Don't go anywhere else, you won't be disappointed!

The only bad thing I have to say about manakoa is that they won't be moving with us. 😭😭 It hurts that we have to end such a wonderful relationship due to relocating to the continent. Our time with the coaches, the other team members and their parents have been so awesome. Taking trips to compete and enjoying time as a team will never be forgotten. To the coaches, it was meant for all our paths to cross. You all have not only trained our girls with skills I will never have, but you all have imparted within them so much more. Values that young women can grow on. You've always inspired, encouraged and supported our ohana and we are so grateful for you all. You will be dearly missed but never never never forgotten. We wish nothing but growth and success for you all as individuals and as a team. GO TEAM MANAKOA!!!💪🤸

Our daughter started at Manakoa Gymnastics about a year ago. She loves her class and instructor, Coach Cynthia. Coach Cynthia is kind, sweet, and gentle. Her calming demeanor is wonderful for the kids. The gym has a very positive and encouraging learning environment. We are very happy we found Gymnastics!

Our family started our journey with Manakoa Gymnastics in 2021 after moving back to the island and trying several other gyms. My daughter has been doing gymnastics since the age of 2 and she wanted a place where she could be pushed to grow and succeed. Mom and Dad wanted a safe place that would help her build self-confidence, physical strength, and coordination through well structured gymnastics and tumbling. We hit the gymnastics jackpot with Manakoa! It’s a family owned and operated gym and each gymnast is treated just like that FAMILY! The coaches are very supportive towards each gymnast and their current level with a high focus on fundamentals and safety so that the gymnast can have a long gymnastics career with little injury and high performance. While pushing each gymnast to be their best and to hit their goals the number one thing that is reminded to each gymnast before their events is to just have FUN. My daughter looks forward to going to practice each week (about 4 hours a week) and camps to see her teammates, coaches, & learn new skills! Thank you Manakoa for all you have done and continue to do for our little gymnast! We cannot wait to see what she accomplishes! 2022-2023 was my daughters first year competing XCEL Bronze. She placed 2nd all round at Aloha Fest, HI & 4th all around at Brestyan’s gymnastics invitational, Las Vegas.
