I had been around Tampa Bay Martial arts over the last few months. They tear each child with respect. They don't do anything tag degrades the child. They offer all the support that theft can. They teach the children respect manners and focus. They give the children tbechance the have fun by playing different games. Also they take them on Educational field trips as well as to the beach and different state and local parks. Tampa Bay Martial Arts is a great place for child to lean Martial Arts along with manners and respect.

All 3 of my boys have been involved in the after school program here. Absolutely love it! Helped them all with confidence. The structure and discipline have been wonderful in helping their character development. Highly recommend.

I was at Apollo beach recreation center today between 2 and 3:00. While I was there the Tampa bay martial arts academy was also there allowing a group of kids to play. There is a park area, basketball area, and a trail to jog or walk your pets on. It's a quite large area. Two women were watching the kids. My complaint is against the older women who I presume was in charge. I have never met her and I know nothing else about this school, but as someone looking in from the outside I was worried. What happened: The kids were all playing in different areas and doing different things. I understand that it's hard to watch that many kids at once so maybe there should be rules restricting what parts of the park they can go to so they can be watched easier. Or, maybe more adults should accompany them next time. As I was sitting at a picnic table I noticed one little girl slowly walk away towards the trails. She saw a man walking a dog all the way on the other side so she walked over to him to pet his dog. He was not motioning to her. I was worried as no one was watching her and she was so far away. I told this women about the little girl. She immediately jumped up and started screaming for the girl. She grabbed her by the arm and was absolutley belligerent towards her. The girls was probably 5 or 6. Instead of calmly telling her the dangers of what she did she instead was aggressive and emotionally scarring. She proceeded to yell for her other students to get in the bus so they could leave. She stopped to continue to yell and scream at this girl right in her face. Adults know better than to talk this way to one another. You'd expect someone who's taking care of your children while you're gone to have more compassion and gentleness when dealing with little ones. She did all of this in front of other parents who were there. We were all SHOCKED at her behavior. I can't imagine how she behaves when strangers aren't around watching. It's a scary thought. I cannot rate them based on the training that goes on. However, I would never want to hear my child is being talked to and handled this way. Parents should be cautious about leaving their children here. Maybe if this little girl was in boot camp and this women was her drill sergeant it would be acceptable behavior. That's not the case though.

I have been attending the Tampa Bay Martial Arts Academy for about a year now for the kickboxing fitness classes. I absolutely love the classes and the owners. The classes are small so I get one on one coaching with the owners and it’s a friendly/no judgement environment. I will keep coming to their classes until they close down forever (which I hope never happens). They moved to a different location, which is closer to my home and they extended the amount of fitness classes. I’ve even noticed a difference in my physical experience based on the workouts we do. Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Solomon!
