Out of all the spin studios I’ve been to, this one is not the best spin studio. Instructors can be a hit or miss. I don’t recommend Nancy, her music taste did not live up to the expectations of a spin class and none of us had the motivations to keep going with her slow old hip hop music. And the male front desk staff member (don’t remember his name) was quite condescending for a first time cyclebar visitor who is on the shorter side, making me follow him to the board like I’m his puppy. Sir I’m not your puppy, don’t puppy talk me like that.

The front desk lady was extremely rude to us. We had booked the class through the third-party app (Class Pass) and arrived 2 minutes before the scheduled time. However, they refused to let us in, claiming that we needed to arrive 15 minutes earlier. The entire process was incredibly rude and disrespectful and they repeatedly asserted that we had no control over the Class Pass app since it was a third-party service. I don’t know what on the app , but you cannot take the class at all! One of the front desk lady, I don’t know her name, but I think she has black hair. I can help to check you in from my end even though you are not allowed to take this class, otherwise they will charge you extra money!!! Excuse me??? Check me in, but not let me taking the class???? It was completely unacceptable to be treated like that. I had simply booked the class through Class Pass because it was a more affordable option, costing only $4 per class. There was nothing wrong with that, and I expect them to stop treating me like this just because I did not book class through your website!!!

I literally love this CycleBar location. I've never been a group class girl before but my friend convinced me to try CycleBar on a whim. 50 rides later I wake up and look forward to going to classes and they sometimes are the highlight of my day. ALL of the instructors are fantastic and I always have a great time spinning with them. I truly have felt like I have found a wonderful community where I feel included and can truly work on being my very best self. I would 100000% recommend CycleBar to anyone I know. The front desk staff are so nice and engaging and are some of the most friendly people I've ever met! If you're on the fence about coming to a class I recommend giving it a try.

This is the best spin studio in San Diego!! I have been a member since they opened (about a year and a half ago.) The staff and instructors are so friendly. I love the music and the themes! This studio makes working out actually fun 😝 I would definitely recommend this studio!

I love Cyclebar, but the instructors at this location aren’t great. I never write reviews, but after a few classes here and several at other studios I just don’t think the classes at this location are great. The only instructor that I enjoy is Pam. Better off going to Hillcrest, the instructors there are on a different level than this studio.
