Allen Academy

There aren't too many black belt instructors like the ones at the Allen Academy. I was very impressed at my information appointment. They were genuinely friendly and knew what they were talking about. I asked about the lineage of their system and unique style and they satisfied my questions. The workouts were appropriate for the fitness level of the class. I'm sure it gets challenging as the students progress though. The instructors used a variety of great calisthenics and stretching. The Allen Academy is a good cross section of men and women, young and old, and an ethnically diverse student body and black belt staff. I can't wait to join.

My kids and I enjoy Allen Academy. The values of self discipline and respect is what brought me to sign up my kids. The joy and learning my kids experience keep us looking forward to them going each week.

I've been going to the Allen Academy since 2011 and did not know that when I joined the school that I would be joining a family. The instructors are great and they understand the different ways people learn which helps students understand the material. The school emphasizes personal growth and the teachings can be applied to everyday life. The instructors are always available to discuss any issues you may have with the material and are always available to answer questions. I have been here for about five months. I have tried other styles and was not fulfilled. The Allen Academy is a breath of fresh air. They don't have your typical hide behind your belt instructors. They actually work out with the classes. This is a big deal to me, since all of them practice what they preach. Seeing some of the senior students is a bit discouraging at times, because they are really good. However, they even take time and volunteer their bodies to help me with techniques. My hats off to all the instructors. They have earned my trust, and have given me the motivation to sign up my daughter. They are so caring and professional with the little ones.

Allen academy is awesome! My son has autism and he had a lot of aggression at times and he needed to feel confident also . When he took classes I could tell that my son felt better and gained confidence! It’s a great place for children and adults !
