Overall, BayClub Courtside is a fantastic facility. It is a high-end club featuring two large gyms, numerous classes, a nice pool, and tennis courts. The cleanliness is top-notch, and amenities like towels and soaps are provided. Additionally, the club boasts a nice restaurant, a spa, and a sports store, which add to its appeal. Complimentary coffee is available every day until 11 am, along with a Bevi water machine, which I love. However, there are two main drawbacks: 1. The pool is great for swimming and includes a nice Jacuzzi. However, it is more suited for swimmers than families with kids, in my opinion. 2. The biggest downside is the parking situation. Most of the time, finding a spot requires a lot of waiting, ranging from 5 to 30 minutes on busy days. Although they have an additional parking lot, it is quite far and often full as well. It feels like the club keeps adding new members without addressing this issue.

i’m a gymnast so i don’t go here often, but when i do it’s always a pleasant experience. fellow gym members always share when i visit, which is surprising especially since i’m a lot younger and smaller compared to everyone else. i’d expect them to be hostile towards me since i’m “just a kid”, or “just a little girl”; as i’ve heard. LOTS of treadmills, plenty of stairmasters, two regular bars and a pull up bar. there are also rowing machines, if that’s what you’re interested in 🥴 the women’s locker rooms and bathrooms are great! lots of showers, lots of lockers and room to change, and they provide clean towels, antiperspirant, hair spray, and blow dryers. their pool is also nice but there is no shade in the water, so that’s something to note if it’s something that concerns you. me personally, i haven’t played tennis there before but there are HUGE courts and definitely way too many 🤣 the more the better though! my only complaints are the lack of mobility workout/exercise machines and that there is basically no air circulation in the showers. the showers are very small which means they will get stuffy soon after the hot water is on for a few minutes. not a problem if you take cold showers but it gets muggy and warm in there 1/4th of the way into my showertime. overall a great experience with bay club and i will obviously be coming back here again! 😊

The pools are great. Love swimming there. The restrooms/showers by the pools are fantastic. Best water pressure ever. UNFORTUNATELY: The gym/workout floor(s) are super discombobulated. Don't go expecting to have an organized workout if you do more than say legs in one workout session. You have to go from room to room to find what you are looking for. I'm extremely disappointed at the state of some of the spaces considering they jack up our dues twice a year and but can't seem to afford to upgrade these spaces. NO SEATED LEG PRESS MACHINE ANYWHERE. OR IS IT HIDDEN IN A SECRET NARNIA ROOM? The "functional fitness" area is very sad: One TRX strap that doesn't lengthen out long enough so if I go back to this gym I"ll have to bring my own. No gliders to be found anywhere so I also have to bring my own. Please visit Redwood Shores for their amazing layout and equipment. Second best is Santa Clara although their workout areas are broken up as well. Please tell me there are plans to remodel and if so let me help you design these spaces.

Great club! The only negatives I can give are the ever downsizing of the childcare options (less time, can’t eat, etc), and overlooking members who book court 2 (the one and only ball machine) and never show up, with no penalty. There should be a check in system and $50 no show fee, that would take care of the problem.

Cons: Bay Club increases its price every few months; since 2023, it has almost doubled. It isn't easy to find parking in the evening. Also, the club access is limited to the local area; if you go to other regions, you must pay to use the club since membership, which charges a hefty premium, does not cover different regions. With this increasing rate, there is not enough value to keep paying for membership for such a crowded gym at some point. Pros: equipment, pool, group classes, and LG location.
