Threshold Wrestling Club

My son Mason has wrestled here for 1 month. It has been an amazing experience. Coach Bobby and his team are second to none the way he develops the kids and motivates them. My son has grown more confident and stronger in the short time he has been there. As an ex college wrestler, I greatly appreciate how fast my son is growing in this program. Update.....my son is now in a position to starting to get into a position where he is close to winning tourneys. He is growing a love for the sport that I love. I couldn't ask for more from this group. Update 3 years later. My son has become one of the best youth wrestlers in the area. Coach Bobby and Coach Dana have taken my son under their wings and treat him like he is part of the family. They treat every family in the gym that way. It has been an amazing adventure with this club thus far. Now my 5 year old daughter is showing interest in the sport, and she has been welcomed with open arms. I can truely say that every kid in this club feels the same. My family and I will be involved with this club as long as we are around in this sport.

Excellent so far!!!!! Welcoming & inclusive environment. Excellent staff/coaches that genuinely care about the progression of the students as wrestlers & people. Coach Bobby truly cares about his students & is passionate about pushing them to the next level. My son has been going here 2 weeks & he loves it. We had high hopes for Threshold Wrestling Club, especially since we opened our home for multiple club functions and genuinely considered those involved as family. Unfortunately, the experience turned out to be deeply disappointing. The environment is unprofessional, riddled with inappropriate behavior, and filled with unnecessary drama. What's even more concerning is the discouragement of continuing friendships with those who leave the club. This behavior fosters a toxic atmosphere that's anything but supportive or family-oriented. This is not a place I would recommend, especially for families or children. It's truly disheartening to feel so let down by people we trusted.

Absolutely amazing facility with top-notch coaches. My boys have been training here for a year, and it's incredible to see their improvement. They also offer adult classes for all skill levels, so if you're looking to get a workout in wrestling, jujutsu, or standup while your kids are training, this is the perfect spot.

When we first took our daughter to Threshold after her freshman season, we saw a spark ignite inside of her. She found a new love of wrestling and it’s because of Coaches Bobby and Dana and the whole Threshold family. She became a part of something special, somewhere that encourages all athletes to reach their goals and continue to grow no matter where they are at in this sport. After placing at State her junior year, we knew that it was the dedication of the coaching staff who helped our daughter strive to do her best. Now she has even higher goals for the coming year, and with the help of Threshold, I know she will get there. I highly recommend bringing your child to Threshold to see for yourself the great coaching that we’ve experienced the last two years.
