A very clean facility, packed with a large variety of fitness equipment, and staffed by super friendly people. The group fitness program is exceptional and the instructors show genuine care for the safety of each participant by demonstrating correct exercise techniques and offering to assist with equipment set up. Very welcoming atmosphere

Great experience every time I go in. Greeted warmly by staff, and other gym goers are friendly. Gym is kept clean and any mess is quickly cleaned up. Plenty of cardio and weight machines, very little having to wait on other gym goers to finish with machine. Overall a great experience!

1. Price 2. Customer Service 3. Quality Price(4) = Reasonable and competitive with other gyms in Bakersfield with tiered systems in place for wants and needs i.e. kid care, classes etc . . . Customer Service (5) = Sammy gave me a tour and this individual had a deep knowledge of the company, the equipment, kindness in their words, and an anticipation of my wants in a gym. If the rest of the staff is indicated by this individual, it's to tier Quality (5) = They have everything you want if it's just weights, but if you're looking for a pool, possibly hot tub and things of that nature this location doesn't, but other locations do have it. Overall it's a great place and I would encourage anyone to give it a month check out since it has a 1$ start up fee!

Sammy, Cass, Adam, and Paul have been an absolute delight, making the gym experience exceptionally comfortable for someone like myself. They are a breath of fresh air and consistently exceed expectations. I feel like it's my second home.

The Barr Fusion and Body Balance classes at Riverlakes are excellent. The instructor is very knowledgeable and progresses from warm-up to variations at different levels. The finish is extremely relaxing and restorative.
