I truly love attending classes at South Park Wellness! Their beautiful studio, nestled in a vibrant neighborhood filled with charming restaurants and shops, combined with their incredible instructors, creates such an inviting atmosphere. If you ever have the opportunity, you absolutely must experience one of Nicole's classes. I've been attending her classes for about a year now, and I genuinely cherish the diverse range of poses she offers, her remarkable work ethic, and the uplifting vibe she brings!

I love the classes here. Awesome energy from fellow classmates and teachers. Blankets, bolsters and blocks are all provided just bring a mat. There are classes for grounding and just managing stress, anxiety or just needing to shake off the ick from the day. Come for a nice reset. Classes can get very full so come early.

This local South Park yoga studio is a true gem! They offer a diverse range of yoga classes, catering to all levels, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The owners are incredible people who bring authenticity and care to every aspect of the studio. I highly recommend it!

The instructors are super nice and helpful! Every class I've been to the instructor has introduced themself to everyone they haven't met yet. So nice as a newcomer! I love that the spiritual side of yoga is really apart of so many classes. Other classes ant other studios include it in the very beginning and end but South Park has several classes where it's a MUCH bigger focus. I love that. Of course I come to do good for my body but it's awesome to also get to do good for my spirit.

I loved my class with Jano, he held the space and energy well in the room and made me feel so good in my body through the structure of his class and cues! The space itself is gorgeous and the people were kind!

This studio is spacious and clean. I appreciate that classes are not overbooked and that there are stickers on the studio floor on where to place your mat so everyone has room to spread out. The infrared heat makes for a challenging flow without being excessively hot like forced heat can be. A membership here is a great value!

A great community of yogis! I love the energy. My favorite classes are sculpt! So far all of the sculpt instructors have been awesome. A great and rewarding feeling afterwards and again the energy is always amazing from all the instructors. Also I have been going to Hillcrest and North park locations. Amazing people. Sculpt classes with Paige at North Park are amazing!

I recently attended a fantastic flow class at Yoga Box North Park taught by Taylor, and I can't say enough good things about it! Taylor's class was just what I needed on a Friday morning and incredibly motivating. The class flowed seamlessly, and I left feeling both rejuvenated and centered. I highly recommend Taylor's classes to anyone looking for a Friday morning reset :)

I love yoga, and was deeply disappointed. I did a vinyasa class, and it was too fast-paced to actually get any deep stretches. It was more of a cardio class than a yoga class. I also tested positive for COVID just a few days after the session, which left me wanting to avoid crowds with this level of moisture. Sanitation-wise, these classes are gross. There were a bunch of unlabeled bottles of cleansers (maybe just water?), and nothing available to wipe down mats. The place smelled so musty.

My all time favorite studio in San Diego, all of California!! The instructors are amazing. I honestly call it my 'church' because I attend classes religiously. lol. Fun LED lights, great music, you sweat like crazy and the classes kick my butt in the best way possible! Notable mention for Molly, the studio manager. Her classes are creative and challenging and I always leave feeling like I can tackle the day. Thank you Yoga Box!

I love this studio! I can walk there and the staff is so kind! The only thing is the rooms always seem to be way hotter than other studios. I can do HPF at another studio and it feels great but when I do it at NP, I always end up feeling like I’m going to pass out. I don’t know if they do the temperatures different or if it’s just me. I’d love to be able to come to this studio more often!

The North Park Studio is wonderful, the staff and the classes are great! I have attended the HY1, Hot Fusion Yoga and the Restorative Class (which was a double class with HY1) and I LOVED IT!! I wished my schedule permitted me to go weekly but it doesn't, but when I have FRI's off I will definitely be attending HY1 & the Restorative class again!

When considering a yoga studio, ambiance and facility quality significantly impact the experience. Core Power Yoga, unfortunately, falls short in these aspects. The studio's state of disrepair and an unmistakable smell of mold or mildew are immediate red flags for anyone seeking a clean, serene environment for their practice. Moreover, it appears that Core Power Yoga's corporate oversight is lacking, particularly concerning the support and maintenance of their studios. This is especially concerning given the high membership fees charged, which one would expect to contribute towards a well-maintained and functioning facility. Several visits to different locations have revealed a pattern of neglect, including lack of hot water in showers and issues with heating systems that compromise the quality of hot yoga classes — a core offering that should never be compromised. Such inconsistencies not only detract from the overall experience but also raise questions about the value for money and the brand's commitment to providing a premium service. Given these experiences, it's challenging to recommend Core Power Yoga. While the quality of yoga instruction may still be high, the physical conditions and operational oversights are significant drawbacks. Prospective members are advised to consider these factors carefully and perhaps look into other studios that prioritize both the quality of their classes and the condition of their facilities.

Love Heidi's HPF class! Heat was perfect, great energy. All around very friendly positive uplifting community. Namaste, thank you!

Didn’t make it to class due to inability to find parking. I couldn’t find anything on their website site that mentions where to park and had to read the reviews. Pretty frustrating to come early and spend 20 mins to find parking and not make it in

Activate House offers many classes to choose from like Spin, Heated Yoga, Heated Pilates and Heated Sculpt, and has so many fun and exciting events through out the year you don’t want to miss! I love everything about this place and hope you give yourself the opportunity to be a part of the Activate House experience.

Activate is my home away from home! First found them on ClassPass when I moved to San Diego 2.5 years ago and haven't bothered with finding another spin studio since. Super welcoming and inviting community and instructors and 10/10 from spin to pilates and sculpt. I'm thankful to have made so many friends and achieved many milestones at Activate - all of which wouldn't have been possible without its founder and heart & soul, Steph! best wellness studio in San Diego, no question.

Had such a great experience with my first ever class with Tess W. She made me feel comfortable and not intimidated. She is such a great instructor. She offers help but also respects people's boundaries. I didn't feel judged or critiqued for my lack of knowledge or skills. Left feeling great and I'm considering going back. Thank you Tess for the great experience; you helped me change my views on yoga

Reviewing as a class pass-er. Plenty of parking. Clean inside. Lived that the bathrooms are inside the yoga room (the whole wall in the back of the classroom has bathrooms). There's lockers. You can rent towels. You can also ask for a lock for the locker, but you may not need it, as the instructor locks the doors prior to class start. I did the recovery class. It was 75 minutes of stretching, a sound bath, good visuals, calming background music (minus the clip with a buzzing bug/fly), and aromatics (lemon grass, and a grapefruit/peppermint one). My instructor was David, I liked him. He was nice. I wish I would've listened better when David had explained the yoga straps were on the back corner (not where the blocks were at)- as this prevented me from doing the class with the straps. Either way, pleasant experience. I'd come back.

I love the college area Yoga Box! I've tried other locations but this one is my favorite specifically because of Natalie! She's the best instructor, her Friday morning Power Flow Vinyasa class is my favorite. I'm glad I joined and incorporated Yoga Box into my workout routine.

Here's a draft for your Yelp review: --- I initially had a wonderful experience at Yoga Box. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the classes were both enjoyable and beneficial for my practice. However, my visit left me feeling disheartened. During one of the sessions, I wore my Star of David necklace as a symbol of my support for Israel. Unfortunately, this seemed to trigger an uncomfortable situation. The instructor accused me of asking too many questions, which I felt was unfair given the context. To my surprise, the owner later called me and expressed that she would appreciate it if I didn’t return to the studio. I was taken aback by this response, as I had only intended to engage positively with my practice and the community. It’s disappointing to see a place that promotes inclusivity not extend that same courtesy to everyone. While I enjoyed my time at the studio initially, this experience has left me feeling unwelcome and misunderstood. I hope the management can reflect on how they handle such situations in the future.

I've been coming to College Area Yoga Box for almost a year and always try to catch the Wednesday or Friday Yoga Sculpt classes with Candice! She has such great energy and motivates everyone to keep pushing through! In general, the instructors have been great and the classes are so high energy that the sweet relief afterwards is so worth the pain! Highly recommend!

After trying a handful of hot yoga studios all over San Diego, Yoga Box is definitely my favorite! I love that they have so many locations which makes it convenient if I’m out and about and need to take a class closer to my work or home. The instructors are all so kind and welcoming. I’m definitely a beginner and find everyone so helpful. They offer many modifications as well for those who are new to yoga so I never feel out of place. Definitely my go to hot yoga studio!

I've been going to multiple Yoga Box for about a month now because I wanted to add some variations to my weight lifting routine. I have had the pleasure of completing 6 classes at YogaBox (Normal Heights & North Park) and it’s always an incredible experience . I leave drenched in sweat, my body feels pushed and sore in the best possible way and I feel good about myself for devoting time to my body and my health. The studio is clean, the instructors are all so good, and the lighting and music get you pumped throughout the intense sessions. I highly recommend and absolutely love my experiences at YogaBox.

Iyengar yoga studio is one of my favorite in this area. My favorite instructors are Lisa and Bonnie! I learn new things every time I attend their classes. Of course Carolyn, the yoga owner is wonderful as well. I am truly grateful to have found this place that brings me so much peace. Thank you! :)

I highly recommend Iyengar Yoga Source for anyone looking to deepen their yoga practice. Iyengar yoga teachers train for a minimum of 3 years before they are certified to teach. This rigorous training means that teachers are able to adapt the practice in ways that other methods are not able to and has allowed me to continue practicing while healing from injury.

Iyengar source is a school that teaches Iyengar yoga and the principals of alignment. It is great for any age but as a senior I love it. Plenty of props so everyone an do each pose. Poses are held for a long time. The teachers are well trained. There are pause in the classes while the teacher demonstrates and explains the pose. The teachers do correct you which I love. There is always a wide diversity of students in the classes. Iyengar yoga is not for people who like face paced yoga, it is not for people who do not like being corrected, to me it is a very special type of yoga. I go mostly to Carolyn's classes, but I love Bonnie and Lisa too.

This yoga studio provides the best Iyengar yoga instruction I have found. I’ve taken classes consistently for over 5 years, and find something in each class that is new and insightful. The teachings make every asana feel fresh. When I am unable to do an asana, the teachers have many creative alternatives and ways to help me to keep going in a positive direction. Thank you Iyengar Yoga Source! Julia

Finally found a yoga studio that isn't that corporate same routine boring yoga with heat. THe yoga instructors are hands on and you will never get hurt. I have knee issues and the instructor always has me modify the poses so I do not aggravate my knee. The studio is full of fresh air and light. A must try And i love all the support your body gets with the props offered and suggested.

Carrie is amazing! One of the best yoga instructors in San Diego. Jay has great hit work outs as well

The installations are very nice, clean and hot and humid (whrn needed) ample parking and they have classes almost every hour Monday through Sunday the only downfall I see is that not all the teachers are top notch, some of them really guide you, instruct you and you can tell theyre keeping the time so you can perform an even/balanced practice, others seem like theyre there to practice themselves and spend too much time talking instead of practicing, this is unfortunate because if you have a membership sometimes you cant or dont want to attend because the teacher in turn is not as good as others and is not as beneficial for your practice.

I've really enjoyed my first week. Attended 3 Core-1 sessions with three different instructors, and each was excellent. As a beginner to yoga, it's been very challenging, but I love it. The combination of strength training, stretching/flexibility, balance, as well as mind/body/spirit connection are terrific, and just what my body needs. Thank you!

Shain's teaching approach seamlessly blends physical challenges with spiritual wisdom, creating an experience that leaves your body and mind feeling refreshed. The studio's calming ambiance only adds to the allure, offering a tranquil setting to delve deeper into your practice. With Shain's encouraging support, practitioners of all levels are inspired to push their limits and evolve.

My first time to this location. The yoga instructors did a great job. They taught me the way in how to direct your body core in easy way and to relief the tightness of my muscles. There are six instructors going around each yogis to correct posture and help out in a proper procedures. I felt my muscles softens and I felt more energy and flexible. I definitely will come back to do more Yoga.

I’ve been away from yoga for over a year and recently returned to the practice just a few weeks ago. This studio’s location is convenient for me and i wasn’t sure what to expect after having been away for a while. Well, this place does not disappoint. The teachers are knowledge in helping me with alignment. in their instruction, they can talk me through making micro-adjustments myself. Everyone is positive, and encouraging and constantly validating that wherever you are in your practice is where you need to be that day! I’ve grown in just the few short weeks I’ve been attending. Visit this studio, you’ll enjoy it.

Come to Yoga Six for the best staff, teachers and yoga experience! This place is truly special and each visit will leave you feeling more at ease and confident about yourself and yoga. This studio is equipped with everything you need to begin yoga (including mats, showers, and two spotless studio rooms). The teachers care about each student and will take the time to support you as either a beginner or seasoned yoga practitioner. This studio also offers a great schedule with a variety of classes everyday as well as specific workshops for yoga, meditation and well-being practices! My happy place!

“This is an extremely nice yoga studio which I started attending last summer (2015). The instructors and staff are very friendly and helpful and the studio is very clean and well kept up. They also have locker rooms and showers and a variety of amenities such as lotions, free filtered water, etc. Most of the classes are somewhat heated, with temperatures ranging from 85 degrees for the Deep stretch and Flow classes up to 100 degrees for the Hot Hatha yoga classes. I find that the higher temperatures are very helpful, and they allow me to attend classes often without the soreness that I would get in unheated class. The sense of community which I get from the staff and from other students is also really nice to experience.”

This is a very friendly yoga studio that is perfect for anyone looking to start practicing yoga or to continue growing. The staff always knows who we are by name when we go in, every teacher moves through their practice with their own subtle variations, and the instruction is very detailed with the perfect hints to take your yoga from simple to more complex. Their facilities are also always very clean and make you feel like you're at home. Additionally, their merchandise is quite affordable if you don't have a set of equipment to practice with yourself. More and more we find ourselves trying to do one more class every week. Not only do we feel better physically, but Yoga Six allows you to unwind mentally as well.

I have been coming to yoga six for over a year now! The staff is always so friendly at the front desk. They are always smiling and so great! I have tried all of the different classes and have had many different instructors, I have never been disappointed! There are classes for everyone! I typically come to this location during the week being that I work close by. I also frequent the one in point Loma both are great! If you are new to yoga this place is very accepting. If you're a seasoned yogi this place is great for you also! I highly recommend coming here you won't regret it!
