Best Yoga Studio near Princeton, New-jersey

I think this is the best yoga studio in Princeton, and I have tried a couple of them. I have been practicing at this studio for years. It is a beautiful space located at the center of Princeton, the main studio has an amazing view of the university. They offer a variety of different classes/styles of yoga. Angela (owner and director of the studio) is the best teacher ever! She is so knowledgeable about every aspect of yoga and she is a great educator. I recommend this studio to everyone who is looking for yoga in the Princeton area!

Due to the health crisis, attending yoga in person wasn't an option. My local yoga instructor referred me to Prana Yoga Shala for additional online practice. I am so grateful for the vast selection of classes, especially considering the times we live in. Angela is an incredible, well-educated instructor, who continuously adds to the yoga community. The online classes are great, and the audio/video is of professional quality.

This is more than a yoga studio, but also a community of people that practice, grow and learn together, and care about one another. They accept you and support you as you are - wherever you are. It's a studio that will support you in pushing your boundaries into new spaces, and is strongly grounded in not just the physical, but the philosophical and spiritual aspects of yoga as well. Each teacher is great in their own right, and each really brings their own unique knowledge and strengths - so take advantage of the new student deal to try them all and find which ones fit for you! The Yoga Teacher Training is truly a wonderful experience of growing in body, mind and spirit with a community, and Angela (the owner) teaches and leads from a place of living the teachings and brings authenticity and grounding that only comes with teaching only that which she has already experienced herself. You will be glad you decided to walk in - - and it might just change your life!

I have attended classes at Prana Yoga Shala for just over 2 years, and I would recommend this studio to anyone I know who is interested in pursuing yoga. Class offerings range for all levels, and the class diversity allows practitioners to pursue a variety of interests (yin, vinyasa, hatha, meditation, astrology, etc.). Not only are the classes really fun, the community is incredible! Even during a pandemic, I've met new people and shared experiences through the extensive selection of virtual-class offerings. I would highly recommend their Yoga Teacher training (I attended the 300 HR YTT). The caliber of instruction, organization, cultural respect, and mentorship was unparalleled. Thank you to Angela (owner) and her entire team for everything you do!

The studio has a great vibe and Angela is a fantastic teacher and a lovely person :)
