I love the classes at the studio. I have been visiting for over 2 years now. Kat and Tasha are some of my favorite instructors here. After their classes, I feel like I can accomplish anything in the world. I don't care so much about other facilities as I do about the class experience. But lately I have been experiencing that the acoustics in the sculpt room have been affecting my yoga practice in the Yoga Sculpt class room. Not sure if there has been a recent re-installation of the speakers or of it's new set of speakers or something else. But the music on the left side of the room (closer to the entry door) tends to get really really loud (It's definitely more than the healthy hearing levels). I recommend a sound decibel level testing be done in that room, and a max limit is set based on the healthy hearing level. If there is a need for the music to be that loud, I recommend sharing hearing protection ear buds at the beginning of the classes. I have been visiting the studio for over 2 years and the music definitely wasn't an issue before, but some new change that has happened recently is affecting it.

Booked a class on Classpass, turned up on time but was told there was no more space in the class so I was turned away. The staff assured me they would contact Classpass so I wouldn't be charged the credits or for a missed reservation. However, I got charged the entire 31$ missed reservation fee. This has created so much hassle. I am upset that I was wrongfully charged and unable to attend at my original time.

same review as other one star reviews. Literally was right on time yet got locked out. The sign to the studio was not clear enough and they couldnt even communicate thru the buzzer that they cannot let me in. Simply just no response. Cannot even tell if the buzzer went thru.

I've been to countless yoga studios around the tri-state area and overseas, and I have to say - not a great place at all. The place is filthy- grimy mirrors, dirty carpet. For an UWS yoga place, I'm highly disappointed. While the instructor was super nice and gave a great class, the music is way too loud and doesn't transition from start to finish, so there is definitely no zen feeling of rejuvenation after...and this is with stating on the website that the Playlist is curated...hmmm not sure how fast rock/pop is curated, just had a headache after - not to mention kids running around loudly somewhere during Savasana. If you're looking for the whole yoga experience-this isn't it.

The classes here are awesome, I cannot speak highly enough of the instructors. But, the facilities need a facelift… the lockers are falling apart, the studio ceiling was dusty/grimy, and the floorboards are all dinged up. Great instructors, not so great location.

The space is completely gorgeous. 30 foot ceilings, modern but warm. Full of light. Instruction is at a high-level and still accessible across a range of skill levels. I saw people doing yoga at a very introductory level as well as people who likely had spent many years doing yoga. And the yoga flow class worked for them all. I’ll come again when in town. What a treat.

The studio is beautiful and one of a kind- there’s something so New York about the under the bridge water view. The instructors are the best I’ve practiced with, always ready to help substitute when you need, whether it’s an injury or being pregnant (as I was) they’re keeping an eye on you and accommodating. This is truly a community. No matter where you are in your yoga/fitness journey, this place is for you!

Such a wonderful class! Beautiful studio, and knowledgeable instructors. Dani’s flow and alignment cues are exceptional. Highly recommend to anyone looking to really understand the postures and deepen their practice.
