Not my vibe. I love aerial yoga . This class was fast paced, poses ranged from beginner to intermediate and was definitely a workout. I've been to several aerial yoga schools, taught aerial yoga and am certified to teach basics.I prefer the more mellow meditative type classes. This is not why I am giving three stars though. When I asked someone about rock climbing they told me I probably wouldn't be able to do it because I have a big chest, which I thought was extremely rude. And I have been rock climbing at least a couple of times at another place .

really enjoyed class today! it was my first Pilates class ever (i have a background in teaching yoga) and the instructor was very easy to understand, kind, and provided great music trivia during the workout! i’m someone who really likes to understand the “why” of what we’re doing in the class, and he was also able to tell us the benefits of each exercise! will definitely return.

This is a great studio. The place and people are very friendly, and overall a very positive atmosphere. Good mix of different types of classes -- and with seasoned instructors. A number of the classes are in heated rooms (infrared heat!), helping you to break a sweat and detox at the same time. Highly recommend.

Awesome new assortment of classes and studios! I love the infrared heat and feel so wrung out but renewed by the end! The nonheated classes are a lot of fun and give me great options to choose from. The rock climbing walls are a great place to test my yoga skills and strength and have been a great new way of overcoming fear with confidence and intention. Love it! I'll be back for sure.

I walked into TranscendU with zero rock climbing experience, and I loved it! Mike DeCavalcante is a fantastic teacher, and his passion for climbing is infectious. TranscendU is a great place to learn to climb or sharpen your skills. Highly recommend!

If I could give Freebird 100 stars, it still wouldn't be enough. I've been practicing here for almost two years and absolutely love it. When I started, it had been about 10 years since I'd practiced in a studio. I started with Gail Frassetta's Beginner class, then took her Beginner 2.0 class and it was a wonderful way to get back into a studio practice. The more I practiced here, the more I loved it. The teachers are all great, they have classes for all levels, and the community is incredible. Everyone here is very welcoming and the vibe is positive, supportive, inclusive, and caring. The owner, Jessie, has created an incredible team, space, and community. Both my husband and I are graduates of the Freebird Yoga Academy 200-hour certification course and it is a truly amazing experience. The course is very comprehensive and you can tell that a LOT of work and care went into its creation. I highly recommend FBYA if you're considering yoga teacher training.

I can say without a doubt that Freebird changed my life. I spent just over a year practicing in the studio and it is one of the most wonderfully places that I’ve ever experienced. The owner and all of the teachers are all on the same page and the classes are always well put together. Every teacher incorporates their personality into their classes, so each experience is different too. This studio is not just about asana though. They all truly embrace Yoga. That said, if you only want to come do asana as exercise, they’re supportive of that too. Each teacher supports modifications and if you just want to come hang out in child’s pose or savasana, that’s fine too. I am also an alumnus of the Freebird Yoga Academy and that is an incredible training opportunity. If you have the opportunity to train with Freebird, I highly recommend that you do so. Thank you, Freebird, for all that you’ve done for me.

I just want to add that as a traveler passing through Jessie was very helpful in assuring me they had a (clean) mat to borrow and cubbies for shoes etc. The class (slow power) was wonderful, enabling my practice in a warm, friendly place

This is the most beautiful, supportive, welcoming, encouraging place I’ve ever been. I have only been coming here for about a month but I’m so glad I found it. I’m learning so much and the community is so welcoming. We need more peace like this in our lives.

I have been a member of this studio for a year and I have nothing but positive things to say about FreeBird Yoga. The environment is warm and welcoming to all with a variety of classes and teachers to choose from. Each teacher brings their own personality, expertise and innovation to each class keeping it interesting while providing the right amount of challenge.
