When I started practicing at Yoga United at Brighton last year I was brand new to yoga. All of the teachers and students made me feel welcome. There was absolutely no judgement and I felt comfortable and part of the community since day one. Yoga has helped me both physically and mentally. My mind is clearer and I wake up every morning feeling well rested. Yoga has made me a better version of myself. I highly recommend this studio. Denyse and her staff are awesome!

Two months ago I bought the 2 week unlimited pass to check out this place I drive by every day - I didn't realize I would be finding a sanctuary for myself. After the two weeks I got the yearly plan and I have been going 3 times a week since. Walking in feels like coming into a space and time just for YOU and your self care. I don't ever feel like I am going to just a studio for my workout. I do get that, but I also get a clearer head and have noticed a big different in flexibility and positivity. Yoga United is my favorite yoga studio. Denyse and all the staff are very friendly. Their love for yoga is evident and they want you to have the best experience. I love the heated room. Its a great way to sweat, and I feel relaxed after every class.

The staff and customers at this small studio are warm and welcoming to beginners and experienced yogis. Its convenient coming from Landisville/Salunga and also not far from Lancaster and Lititz. Class offerings vary from beginner sessions to all-level vinyasa flow sessions in a warm room to traditional Bikram sessions in a hot room. Also offers yin yoga, in which poses are held longer. So glad I tried Yoga United!

I was thrilled to attend an in-person yoga class at Black Cat Yoga last month when I was visiting from out of town. I have been taking virtual one-on-one classes with the studio's owner, Jenny, for at least six months and she is a wonderful teacher. Prior to working with Jenny my only yoga experience was following along with videos online at home (but at least I started somewhere), which I enjoyed, but I felt like I was "missing" something about yoga. Jenny was able to answer all of my questions and explain elements of yoga which I would have been oblivious to if I had stuck to just online videos and yoga apps. She is also super inclusive, thoughtful, body positive, and an all around lovely person to work with. The studio itself is adorable. Clean and calming with a well-curated yoga boutique in the front of the storefront. While I was there I upgraded my yoga mat (a great move on my part) and got these cute yoga stickers too! I would definitely recommend Black Cat Yoga, particularly if you are a beginner or are in need of adaptations due to any physical limitations. I'm looking forward to visiting again when I'm able and getting a gift certificate for my mom for the holidays (hopefully she won't see this review before then)!

This place is awesome. I'm not into yoga, but this is everything a yoga studio should be. The people are kind, understanding, and welcoming. They are accommodating and understand that different bodies work in different ways. They are huge into helping the community and handle themselves with love and compassion. Plus, from what I hear the actual yoga, meditation, and other services are fantastic. But as with all things, the atmosphere around it is just as important.

I took Jenny's Hatha Yoga class today and it was awesome! The studio is beautiful. Jenny was very friendly and welcoming. She does a great job offering variations to yoga poses so each student can tailor the class to fit within their personal practice. She is very encouraging while still offering verbal corrections on postures when needed. The class was challenging but very doable. Being a fat yoga student, it can be intimidating going to a new studio for the first time but Jenny makes you feel right at home from the moment you walk in the door. I highly recommend Black Cat Yoga Studio and will definitely be back!

As a larger person, walking into any physical activity-focused place is generally intimidating. But seconds after walking into Black Cat for the fist time, I was greeted with a warm welcome and assured that I would not be made to feel awkward or incapable. Yoga poses and other movements can be modified to accommodate my body, and the instructors are all committed to the mission of making EVERY body feel included. Such a welcome change from the last yoga studio I attended.
