Have been coming here on and off since the summer and more consistently on my college breaks and i love this studio so much! I have tried a few in the area but i keep coming back to hometown. Bob’s classes always put your skills to the test. All the teachers are fantastic. Will definitely make the trip from New Brunswick to Lambertville during the semester 😉

Love the atmosphere, the instructors are genuine, caring people that are interested in treating the mind, body, and soul. Bob is a visionary with positive welcoming energy and a wealth of experience. John teaches Monday nights and has a unique style, is friendly and compassionate. He will make you feel right at ‘hometown yoga’ in his class. I highly recommend!

I have taken a dozen classes at this new yoga studio since they opened and have loved every one. Small, welcoming setting where I was comfortable despite my couple year break from yoga. Every teacher I have taken so far is different, but all are amazing. What a great local studio! I am sure you can find a class that fits your schedule and ability here. Thanks Bob, Jon, Anthony, Erin, Steven and Suzanne- and I look forward to trying some of the other teachers as well!

Taking a class at Hometown Yoga is a wonderful experience. I have been privileged to have Bob Lonsdale as a yoga and pilates instructor for over 15 years. His warmth, humor and humanity makes Hometown Yoga a very welcoming community for both new and returning students. Bob’s spirit of inclusivity and empathy is shared by other teachers as well. I have always been made to feel that whatever my level of fitness or flexibility, I am embraced as a full and valued participant in the class. I feel seen and heard during every Hometown Yoga class I have taken; which nurtures both my body and emotional well-being.

This best yoga studio in the area hands down. All the instructors are incredibly helpful, friendly, and really know their stuff. They do a great job with people of all ages and abilities. The environment is super cozy and relaxing. Whether you're going into yoga for the first time or are a seasoned veteran, this place will not disappoint! After three months of work here I was able to lose 20lbs and 10% body fat. For athletes like myself, there's just no better supliment to your training regiment than Riverflow yoga. From the start, you'll feel a huge boost in energy, new strength in your back and core, and, most importantly, relief of all those old aches and pains. A great staff, fun environment, and a chance to feel wonderful in your body: give Riverflow a try today!

I just completed my 5th class and commited to 6 more months here. I am a type 1 diabetic and recoving from a back surgery in October 2016. I have found here at the studio a very kind, compassionate, understanding and supportive staff. I have always felt welcome and comfortable. The small studio provides individual attention and instruction. I have done different types of yoga over the years but have never found a type or a place that makes me feel the way hot yoga does at Riverflow. Its true what they say, Hot yoga, cool people! I reccomend you give it a try, more then one time. If its for you, you'll know. Im hooked! Thank you to everyone at Riverflow. I cant wait till my next class :)

I had never experienced hot yoga before. 8 months ago I started with Riverflow on a Groupon. One of the best experiences of my life. It was challenging in the beginning but so rewarding. It complements Zumba exercise, giving me discipline, focus, amazing stretch for my body and clarity for my mind.

Bought a Groupon for this place and convinced them to refund me. I came to two classes here and was excited by the prospect of a regular bikram class near my house. DISAPPOINTED. The first teacher was a young man, who was patient and encouraging. My next class was with the owner, who promised to sit with me after the class to talk about my goals with yoga. In my ten years of practicing, I had never had a yogi do that with me, and was kind of excited. Too bad her class sucked. Not only was it only 85 degrees in there, she kept calling me out for going a little slower than my classmates (there were like two people there). And then she told me not to wear a wrist brace for my recovering wrist because it limited my ROM. Uh, duh. It's supposed to. Also, there's no showers. Needless to say, we never had our one-on-one goals session. Would not return and would not recommend.

I initially wasn't going to review Riverflow since I haven't been there in over a year - but due to recent instances with them I feel the need to urge people to stay away from this studio. I went to Riverflow using a groupon I purchased and was rather indifferent about my experience there - it was a small studio with good instructors who were very attentive and accommodating to new students despite their abilities and experience. I've been to several other hot yoga studios that were much more professional looking and updated, but since there is a limited amount in this area I figured I'd go in with an open mind. My issue with this business is the owner and her attitude and aggressive and rude behavior pertaining to gaining and retaining clients. Over a year ago, while using my groupon and after attending several classes, she had a meeting with me to discuss my goals which turned into a brag session about her career and a sales pitch for me to sign on long term, which was a big financial commitment for me at the time. I explained that I was attending college and was planning a wedding - it was too expensive for me but I enjoyed using the groupon and trying it out. She kept trying to explain to me how I needed to 'prioritize' and basically lectured me on how I was spending my money and how I should be spending it HERE. When I made a comment that I needed to discuss a long term financial commitment to a nonessential YOGA MEMBERSHIP with my fiance she criticized me for not making the decision right then and there. She would NOT BACK OFF. She proceeded to call me several times that week offering me a lower price (which at first seemed very nice of her) but she kept pressuring me saying that "the offer only lasted for 24 hours so you need to act fast....other people are waiting for this lower price!". I recieved THREE phonecalls from her within 24 hours. Then after I clearly wasn't coming back and turned down the offer, I recieved phonecalls for the next couple of weeks asking for me to return to the studio. So why am I writing this review now, months and months later? Because the owner has been repeatedly leaving multiple messages, sometimes 2 a week on my voicemail that are over 2 minutes long with new sales pitches trying to regain my business. It's extremely uncomfortable and annoying. She does not understand how to take no for an answer. I would not reccommend this studio to anyone unless they want to feel pressured, backed into a corner, and ready to discuss all of your finances and explain your budget to a complete stranger.
