Found Expand on ClassPass and omg where have you been all my life 😍 absolutely amazing place with incredible instructors. Truly transformative. I had such a nice Yin practice with Lauren tonight, it was so meditative and healing. She was so supportive and helpful. The atmosphere is heavenly, the locker rooms were clean as can be and I can’t wait to be back.

In town for work and dropped in tonight for Natassah’s yin yoga class. It was amazing. She gave some really great technical cues and setup to help us think about the class the right way. And she was moving around and on her feet the whole hour giving personal attention and individual suggestions. Her care and passion was evident! I was able to borrow a mat (free the first time) and it was a thick manduka. Impressive. Lovely space.

I’ve been going to Expand Federal Way for about 9 months and every experience has been exceptional. Special shoutout for instructor Claire, who always leads her classes with great energy, kindness, and excitement! The instructors all foster a fun, inclusive community and offer a great variety of classes - I especially love having back-to-back hot yoga and sculpt during the week!

I have been attending for about a year now (in the blink of an eye!) and it’s been such a great space to grow in my practice. The teachers are very knowledgeable and experienced. They understand yoga beyond the health component which allows them to hold space for magic to happen in the studio. I feel they see the bigger picture of the movement they are creating—more self-aware folks for a more loving and caring world. You should give it a try! They make it easy to dip your toes in first to test the waters.

Great and challenging classes! You can tell the instructors truly care about your overall health and strength progression. While it’s not encouraged to leave the studio when things get a little too hot, the understanding from the instructors are greatly appreciated especially from a beginner like myself. There are plenty of modifications offered for each exercise to accommodate everyone’s individual skill level. All classes I’ve been have always been welcoming and inviting. I’ve recommended Elev8 to all of my friends!

I’ve been going to Elev8 for over a year, and I can honestly say it’s become more than just a place to exercise… it’s a community. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a welcoming vibe. The instructors are super friendly and make sure everyone feels comfortable, no matter your fitness level. What really sets this place apart is the sense of connection it fosters. It’s a space where you can unwind, grow, and feel like you’re part of something bigger. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a supportive and inclusive yoga studio.

Elev8 is one of the most supportive and nurturing places I have ever been. Having just turned 60, I am setting the foundation for the rest of my life. I am new to Yoga, and I believe it is the healthiest thing I have ever done (body and mind). If you are in the Federal Way area, you should sign up for the 2-week intro. You will fully understand when you do.

The vibe at this gym is amazing. Not only are the owners and employees here fantastic the clients that come in are amazing as well. The workouts at HOTWORX are challenging but also fun and encourage you to do your best. This is no failure if you’re in there giving it your best. Coming from someone that has a bit of social anxiety this gym makes me feel welcome and ready for my next workout. I love the options that are available so that you can get your best workout in every time you step in the door. I highly recommend HOTWORX if you’re looking for a positive environment and great workouts to go along with.

I visited for the first time yesterday and I definitely stayed longer than the first free workout I came for. Experience was welcoming and exciting. The Freedom to sweat in private is wonderful😅. Seems like your able to schedule time slots from 15mins to 45mins depending on workout. And the FX room is openly available. I'm coming back today!

Super disappointed. I signed up under a family account and was told by the owner, Michele, who signed me up, that I could cancel at any time since I would just have to remove my name. Just called today and was told that it NOT true- I have to give 2 months notice and come in to sign paperwork. While the workouts felt good, I wasn't losing any weight (I am now with Intermittent Fasting) and we just bought a house, so disappointed I have to carry this bill for another two months. So much for the family atmosphere :(

I’ve been going to HotWorx for a couple weeks now. Michelle is amazing and always there to greet you with a smile, her team is fantastic too! It is a very welcoming place to be. It’s all maintained and cleaned well. It’s not uncommon to see them running around wiping things down and picking up. The sauna workouts feel amazing! I wasn’t sure I would enjoy working out in the heat as I am not one to enjoy hot weather… but it’s a game changer. The dry heat of the saunas isn’t bad at all and I feel so good afterwards! I love the variety of classes and the ability to use the open gym space for some weight training and even battle ropes! Price point in my opinion is fantastic! If you haven’t tried this place out yet, I highly recommend you do!! You won’t regret it!

I took the meditation and painting workshop. Katie Beloved is a gifted yoga, meditation teacher, sound healer and massage therapist. The art portion was really fun and I thought Gina did a great job with the sunflower mandala painting. Everything was set up beautifully and ran smoothly. I left with my soul fulfilled and feeling so calm.

This is the BEST business in Federal Way. Words cannot express how much I love this place, It feels like HOME, like COMMUNITY. Not only is the yoga studio amazing, the people here bring a sense of belonging to everyone who walks through those doors. I have practiced yoga on and off since the late 90s, and have been to many many studios in several states. It was amazing to me to find my favorite studio here in FW! I also took the Yoga Teacher Training at Three Trees in 2024. I am a registered nurse by trade, and could SEE and appreciate the level of knowledge of the instructors. Anyone interested in yoga should try Three Trees. They also offer amazing experiences (workshops) like sound baths and very gentle movement- even my elderly and injured aunt could join. I am Grateful for Three Trees, Namaste everyone!

I highly recommend Three Trees Yoga to both seasoned yogis and beginners in the Puget Sound area. This studio offers a safe and sacred space for those seeking community, relaxation, and functional movement. The teachers at Three Trees are exceptionally talented, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind, creating an environment that feels both welcoming and supportive. Additionally, the studio space is lovely, and through the windows you can see natural elements (rocks, trees, and sunlight) that add to the overall experience. I recommend their yoga classes (in-studio or Zoom) as well as workshops, including incredible monthly sound baths, sacred circles, vision boarding events, and more. The studio’s deep commitment to its community can be felt the moment you step through the doors. Thank you Three Trees!

I have been going to three trees yoga since 2014. It is absolutely amazing. The variety and types of classes, the flexibility of being in studio or at home on zoom, the scheduled times and days makes it a place for every yogi at every level. From restorative and gentle to strength, flexibility and full on exercise, there is something for each and all! The teachers are all highly trained and aware of individual needs. Highly recommend Three Trees.
