I attended the studio for about 6 months. The classes I took were well instructed and offered various levels of difficulty. They do offer supplies/materials if you have forgotten or don't have certain supplies. However, the schedule of class times is VERY limited, their first/earliest non-senior class is at 10 am, and it's the only class available in the morning during the week. If you're an early bird this is not your studio. They do offer 1/2 evening classes everyday but Friday/Saturday. Secondly, I personally do not think the studio is maintained in it's cleanliness to the best standards. The bathroom ceiling fans had what seemed to be the same dust the entire time, and my motto is everything is interconnected. If the bathroom isn't getting the best cleaning neither is the studio. Lastly, this is ultimately what led to the three stars, the check in lady/owner doesn't seem very friendly. IMO I'm not sure if it's that she isn't friendly or her staff is just so much friendlier than her that it makes her seem aloof.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I have been attending this wonderful yoga studio for 8 years now, and it has truly become a home away from home for me.This place is not just a studio; it's a sanctuary of serenity, a hub of happiness, and a den of delight. You'll feel like you've found your zen tribe, and you won't want to leave. It's my secret recipe for a happiness boost! In a nutshell, if you're looking for a yoga studio that's equal parts zen and wild, where sweat and smiles go hand in hand, look no further. This place is a one-way ticket to yoga paradise. Highly, like SUPER highly, recommend!

Hotbox has been my go-to hot yoga studio for about a decade. It is hands down the best studio in town. The instructors push you to your limits, creating an environment for growth of practice like no other. I have taken classes at tons of studios across the nation and a common theme seems to be that the "hot" yoga classes are never hot enough... But that has never been the case at hot box! If you want to take the heat intensity down a notch they also offer warm classes that are relaxing and cater to all levels. Do yourself a favor and book your next class here!

Hot Box is an excellent yoga studio for all. The instructors/staff embrace a well rounded practice that goes beyond poses and the yoga mat. They are always mindful to accommodate for everyone. The owner (Kat) is very receptive to feedback and will go above and beyond to take action. I started attending as a total beginner and the instructors were extremely helpful. They instilled confidence in me to embark on my own yoga journey and even implement a home practice. The studio is super clean, even though most classes are warm/hot and there are many sweaty humans. One of the things I really enjoyed is that they have props available at all times. Plus, the studio is also well located with many parking spaces available. Finally, some of the classes fill up on a regular basis. Some people may see this negatively, but I think that it is a clear sign that their classes and installations are truly worth it.

I wish everyone can experience the peace, calmness, deep connection and mindfulness that Cassandra awakes in her Yin class. This class taps into deeper feelings, the ones you feel will never detach. Her expertise, her voice, essence and authenticity drives you to a deep consciousness of mind, body, and soul. SHE IS THE BEST!

The studio is beautiful and Morgan is a great teacher. Would have appreciated more attention to being guided and corrected. It is very warm in the studio. There are also no mirrors so no way to check alignment or work on alignment. Some classes taught by other teachers are labeled beginner but have no focus on learning or building fundamentals correctly. There was a new learner grabbing the edges of his mat in downward dog and the instructor did not take the time to teach, to correct for his safety and full benefit. Some poses were very advanced and not appropriate for a “beginner class”.

Before I found Surya yoga, my yoga practice was one dimensional and limited. I’ve grown so much in this welcoming, dynamic community and feel very comfortable in my own body and my practice. I’m surprised myself with all the new movements, and poses that I’ve learned rapidly in the past couple of years. More importantly, it’s definitely escape from my day-to-day life and helps me practice mindfulness, but becoming more in tuned with the capabilities of my body. Definitely check it out. You won’t be disappointed!!! 🧘🏾♀️🤸🏾♀️
