I've enjoyed Rose City Futsal, West. Their registration process is quick and well thought out. The inside temperature is perfect for both spectators and participants. Court time is adhered to and there are quick turn around times to keep all games and practices running on time. The upstairs, for spectators, has a bar for drinks and snacks, as well as games. The only downside I've experienced as a participant is the lack of an effective changing room for those people coming from work.

Great facility with a decent bar upstairs for adults. Decent view of courts but as with anywhere with nets it'll be somewhat difficult to view action.

As a player who played almost 3 seasons, here is my main comment: NEVER EVER EVER EVER register to community team. There are several reasons for that. 1) Firstly, before season starts, organizators promise you to play weekdays. But then, they stuck you to one or two specific days across the season. We played mostly on fridays, and a few times on mondays. We never played on any other days. 2) The second reason is, just to earn more money, organizators will randomly add people to your team after the start of the season. They will never ask you if you want a player or not. And sometimes, those players are way below the standard of the league, barely able to hit the ball or run properly. They ruin your game. 3) Some referees are good, but some of them are really bad. They dont even watch your game, and they behave in a rude manner. They behave or look at you as if you are a bug. Besides this, facilities are standard, nothing negative about it. So, if you are going to participate to a league, community team is waste of money. My experience is based on this and thats why i give one star. If you can build up a closed team with your friends, that may be better.

Lots of routes, it didn't feel full despite the parking lot having only a few spaces left. Super friendly staff and general good vibes.

Largest of the three circuits in the Portland area. They have plenty of parking, yoga room, a mezzanine full of workout equipment etc. Also, this place is usually not crowded with climbers. Route setting I similar to other locations. The walls are well spaced out and allows folks to focus on climbing and not having to worry about people close by. They could probably use a cave style wall for greater challenges

I haven't ventured out to other climbing areas yet but this was my first one to go to. It's been a great place to climb. Definitely a lot of wall space to climb and they even have a wall for kids. They also have a gym which is also nice to have. They have shoes to rent and chalk to buy. They have cubbies to store your belongings which is appreciated. They are also fairly quick on fixing hand holds if they are loose too. Overall you'll have a great time if you commit yourself!

We’ve been to open climbs as well as youth after school classes and we LOVE this bouldering gym! They’re excellent at empowering kids to try climbing. The kids area is great: varying difficulties of walls plus 2 slides to get down. Instruction during youth classes has been great. My daughter leaves class saying “I can’t wait til the next one!” Tip: Make sure to watch the video and sign the waiver at home. It takes a while and is annoying to do at the gym when all you want to do is go climb.

The gym itself is great and the setting is just as good as anywhere else in the Portland area. I would rate it higher but there is a strange policy where set screws cannot be used by the setting team. Set screws are additional screws in climbing holds that SHOULD be used in order to prevent holds from spinning when a climber weights them. This is a legitimate safety risk to anyone that plans on climbing at any of the circuit gyms around Portland.
