The Women’s Boxing Class truly helped me lose weight—which was not my main goal. One of the Coaches taught us that boxing is 80% Conditioning. As a busy single mum, I couldn’t add something outside of my kids’ events. They were already into kickboxing, wrestling and jiu jitsu. Here was an opportunity for me to workout while they did. And it was less intimidating than being in a class with professional fighters (though they too are always welcoming). Even at my level of boxing knowledge and skills, there is a place for me (and my whole family) at this world renowned gym. Thank you for creating this class and a place for us to come together to do something healthy together 🙏

Man where do I start... My daughter and I have been members for about 3 years. She started training in the kids program first. The dedication, love for JJ, and patience these coaches show on the daily basis have helped my once shy, insecure growing child. Into a blossoming young leader. I recommend JJ for every child especially young ladies. If I could give a higher rating for Coach Harold, Chris, Roberto, Josh, Jess, and Manolo and everyone their I would. This gym will welcome you like family,

I recently visited SMASH with a group of friends, and while the facilities were nice, the pricing structure is less than ideal. They charge per person rather than per court, which quickly adds up—especially if you’re playing singles matches. For instance, with four players, we each had to pay the individual rate plus a court reservation fee, making the overall cost unreasonably high for just an hour of play. This per-person pricing doesn’t make sense when only one court is used, and it’s not budget-friendly for those of us who want to play casually. It would be great if they offered more flexible options, such as hourly court rentals or group discounts. Until they revise their rates, I can’t recommend it for anyone looking to play regularly without spending a fortune.

This place has zero customer service skills. The front desk worker here does not explain how the court sign-up system works to first-timers, which caused a lot of confusion. Please give clear instructions before swiping people's cards. Also, this place does not offer immediate refunds at the front desk despite of unpleasant experience, so you would need to email their manager, which was another round of conversation without proper customer service. I would not recommend this place.

Dont waste your $40 a month for court . The coaches over ride and remove your court reservation in the name of coaching classes They charge additional ammount it u. Want to reserve ahead

I love going to this place every evening! Price for a couple I feel it’s worth, love their computer system for reserving courts which allows playing with others. Too crowded obviously but good to go early to get to the courts!

Best place to play badminton in San Diego bar none. 14 quality courts in two suites of this warehouse building. Good coaching available for lessons. This said, it's not perfect. Some people abuse the court reservation system by gaming it during busy times and the staff is young and not authoritative enough to enforce the rules... part of the issue is that there is no penalty for this unethical behavior (other than victim ire) and because it is rampant, many do it to keep playing w their closed groups. I get that people want to play with their friends and keep their foursome. BUT, don't sign up with 3 players, have one sign up for a later court and leave a spot open where I, as a single, sign up hoping to play. I show up after waiting 30-45 mins and you have 4 on the court already. I now have to sign up for a later time myself and wait again. This is highly inconsiderate. The best way to go is to bring your own foursome or at least twosome. (Not always practical) I play here 3x a week and have been a member since 2020.

My son was attending Parisi speed school then we decided to take a break and after a month we noticed his speed had declined. On top of that, he got injured and he took some time off from playing soccer. After returning to the soccer field we noticed that he would need extra help to get back in shape and on track with his speed and strength. We signed him again for Parisi Speed School and after just 3 weeks we noticed that he improved a lot and he is on track where he used to be. Just for reference, he is 12 years old and he is taking Total Performace classes. I would recommend to everyone Parisi Speed School. Thank you Parisi for doing an amazing job with out athletes!!!

Been working with Paul and his team for a couple months now. I’m an amateur competitive volleyball player and needed something more impactful than the training I was doing. Paul made workouts curated to our sports and I’m already seeing gains. My buddy’s kid also takes their classes and gained 3 inches in her vert! Really cool Place check it out

We recently celebrated my son's 11th birthday at Team Touche, and it was a hit with him and his five friends. The kids had a blast learning the art of fencing, and the whole experience was both fun and educational. Tedd and Clinton were highly responsive and communicative throughout the planning process, making everything run smoothly. Tedd, who led the fencing class, brought a high level of enthusiasm and expertise to the session, keeping the kids engaged and excited. We planned to have pizza at a nearby park instead of using their space for food, but you can bring party food on location. Overall, the fencing experience was a highlight of the party, and Team Touche provided excellent service =)

Team Touche is a great place for kids to learn fencing and to meet new friends. The coaches and staff are extremely nice and professional. Coach Tedd is my daughter's favorite coach: positive, patient, passionate and very encouraging. His lessons for a 7 year old focus on the fundamental skills while full of fun and challenges. My daughter is excited to go to fence at TTFC every time and we are grateful for being a member of TTFC family.

Team Touche is a great place for my son who has been fencing for 2 years!! He is a competitive Epee fencer, and is 11th in the nation at Y14 level. Great coaches here, Coach Alex, Tedd, Raul, Ernesto and Ben who is always coaching him at the club or at the competitions. The coaches here dedicates lot of time to every fencer and sets them up for success. Head Coach Tedd is very receptive to our comments and strives to make continuous improvements in the club along with coach Joanne. If you want to have fun or be competitive fencer, Team Touche is the place to be!!

Six years ago, after the intensity of several competition seasons of rhythmic gymnastics, we were ready for a fun and friendly environment for our daughter to do sports and we chose fencing at Team Touche, not too far from our house. And fun she had! Six years later, every night, she is still excited to go to practice at TTFC. And as an additional bonus, along the way, in March, she became the 2019 US National Champion in Women's Foil in the cadet and Junior categories. And now at 16 years old, this season, she has represented the US at international fencing competitions (World Cups. Grand Prix) on both Senior and Junior USA National Teams. Coach Tedd is simply amazing! His unique coaching style combines friendliness and fun with world-class fencing expertise. Now that the club has grown, there are also other great coaches working at TTFC and we regularly take lessons from them as well. Coach Raul brings international-level fencing and coaching expertise from Cuba - one of the strongest fencing schools. For many years, he himself was a top-level international fencer and now he is sharing his knowledge with TTFC students of all levels and ages. Coach Alex is also an outstanding resource for us. His intimate knowledge of all the technical inner-workings of both epee and foil fencing and his decades of experience coaching national team members from many countries has proved to be essential to our daughter’s success in this sport. I am so glad that fencing specialists of truly world-level caliber turned out to be at a club right here in San Diego, just a few minutes from our house in Carmel Valley.

My family and I absolutely LOOOVE Alliance!! In February 2023 Coach Deb scheduled our kids for the intro bjj class. They had such a blast!! We instantly felt welcomed by everyone and decided to sign them up right away. Our daughter started out in the toddler class (3.5-5yrs // Tues/Thurs/Sat for 5yr olds). It introduces fundamentals and keeps it fun so the kids stay engaged. Our son started in the youth class (6-8yrs // Mon-Sat). This class is a bit more technical and catered to help build more confidence in the kids. Both of our kids are now in the same youth bjj class. Other kids classes offered are: Youth comp class (Mon/Wed/Fri) - Prof JLo & Prof Freddy preps and dials the kids in for comps. This is next level training!! Youth Muay Thai (Tue/Thurs/Fri) - Coach Daniel introduces striking and conditioning. He’s great with the kids. This class is perfect for kids who have a ton of energy! Fast forward to May 2024: After watching the kids train & compete in tournaments, I finally decided to sign myself up. What really got me to signup was the Women’s Only Class. It’s so awesome to see all the women come into the academy ready to train. Professor Jena teaches the women's only class on Tues/Thurs & Professor Dulce teaches women’s only class on Sunday. The best thing about Alliance is that there are sooooo many great classes offered throughout the day and is open every day of the week. Thank you to Prof Johnny & Michela for having an amazing academy that feels like a 2nd home. Shout out to all the Professors (Johnny, Jena, JLo, Dulce, Freddy, Vando, Marcos, and Luciana) and Coaches (Deb, Gio, Dustin, Mark, Lucas, Luiza, Tiago, Eduardo, and Ramin) who’ve passed along their knowledge and continue to help us improve during our BJJ journey.

Hands down the most welcoming bjj school in SD! There are high level athletes, the gym is spacious, clean, there are so many women to train with! The programs are structured, the instructors are well experienced with our safety in mind. Schedule is so packed! Alliance offers the most classes in SD throughout the day, 7 days a week. There’s a gym area, a private class area, a lounge area. Always parking available! Definitely it is a place to join and be part of such an amazing community!

Horrible business model. My daughter only went a few times but because of the self-management system, if you miss the weekly deadline to input your session, they charge you $50 for the week and are non-existent over the phone to fix any problems you have with your membership. I have been trying to get a hold of them for a month now to cancel my membership and can’t get a hold of anyone, so I keep getting charged.

Bought a Groupon to use the golf simulator. When I called trying to schedule a time, I was told that they acted like they didn't know anything about a Groupon offer and then said they didn't think they were honoring it even though it was still within the timeline of redemption. They cited something about new ownership and took my info and said they would get back to me. Not only did they not get back to me but over the next month I called every week and left messages with my name and phone number very clearly each time because they never picked up the phone once. They didn't return my call once and still haven't. Luckily Groupon refunded my purchase but Redline truly deserves this sub-par review for what appears to be a deliberate effort in avoiding customer service.

How should I start? This place is just amazing. From the coaches to the people and kids training there, the atmosphere is so comfortable and open. Everyone is treated like family. Coach Derryck is so good with the toddlers and kids and his lovely wife, Leslie is such a great training partner. There’s no other place to bring the whole family for a great workout. I honestly can't say enough good things about this place. Coach Derryck has really set up an amazing gym and the coaches there are really fantastic. The previous location (above KidVentures) was a bit cramped, so it's really nice that they were finally able to find a new location. Their new gym has a lot more space so the kids can spread out and they even put in some gym equipment so parents can work out while their kids are rolling. Coach Derryck really cares about the kids and works hard to instill a love for the sport in them. He is also very safety-conscious and teaches the kids how to do techniques in a safe way and never to cause any harm to their teammates. Coach Ric is also a fantastic addition and is so patient with the kids. They also have a fair promotion system and give stripes/belts out during promotions once a quarter, if you earn it. We've been members of this gym for over 1.5 years and our son has developed a love for the sport.

The 11am Sat dance class is the best! Bolly Dance! So fun and lively! The Wed 12pm dance class is also amazing with the lights off and disco ball. So fun! Wish it was possible to drop in to a class for around $30 instead of $50. Gym equipment is outdated but the vastness of the entire complex make up for it. Wish the basketball court schedule was online because sometime the pickle ball people play where the basketball court is for a large chunk of time so it's hard to get to play if you don't know the schedule. Wall yoga is really nice. Also wish the cafe sold espresso drinks. Would love to have an iced latte after my workout around noon but they only have coffee up until 11:00 a.m. but it is free so you have to work out really early if you want to enjoy the coffee but I wouldn't mind paying for a coffee if they had a espresso machine so I could go there workout and then have a coffee so I can go to work super energized. I think as well since it is like a community center it would be nice if they had community events like meet and greets or dinners or appetizers or just social hours so that way everyone could have a chance to meet each other because you start to recognize people because you go all the time but it would be nice to have an event to break the ice and make some workout friends to help keep you motivated and so you would have a gym buddy! Because my friends didn't want to pay the price to join so I didn't have a gym buddy so I cancelled my membership.

We re-joined the club in Feb. We love it since it is great location for the area resident and ample parking spot. They have added great new classes like Ignite and Hit. They also have outdoor classes so inside classes do not get crowded. The reason for 4 star is with being a huge place with cafeteria there is a big need for recycling bin and unfortunately they have none. I did complain to one of the staff and he said he is completely all for it and he has mentioned to the management. Also equipment in the inside need to be cleaned once in a while.

Please do yourself a favor and choose a different club. The membership rate is ridiculous, the staff it rude, there is no parking and there is no available equipment like treadmills, bicycles and stair masters. You can get much more and better at different club. This club is not worth it for what they charge for membership
