Needed a place to workout since I was visiting. This place is good for the workout. Took a 10am class, got a good sweat in. Not only the staff is cool the people there are helpful as well. I'll definitely be coming back when I come down to Orlando again.

There is a diverse membership here. The rolls are fun and competitive, and this is the go-to spot for Sunday No-gi open mat in the Orlando community. This gym does not shy away from stand up or wrestling and has competitors in not only the usual Newbreed and Naga, but also ADCC opens, Pans, IBJJF opens, sub tournaments and superfights with coaches that compete in Gi and No gi themselves. The gym has an open door to the community and does not ban or restrict based on membership or affiliation with other gyms. If you are looking to learn from high-level competitors, improve your stand-up game, and challenge yourself with technical, intense grappling, this is a good option in a central and convenient area.

Warm welcoming brotherhood! Great class! First timer submission grappling. Plenty of variety amongst the teacher and the more experienced athletes. Practiced some techniques, then straight to rolling. These guys take you under their wing and mentor you so you work on different things with each roll. Hopefully I will be back in the area to work we these guys again!

This gym is family. I have been here for about eight years, I couldn’t imagine a life without it. Coach Mitch McElroy has created a beautiful environment. The other coaches Antti, Sal, Caitlin, Donald, Bryan, Jeremiah and others bring world class instruction as well. Come have fun, work hard and become your own master!!

Best fighting academy in Orlando! I’ve been doing Muay Thai here for eight months and I’ve loved every step of the way. Kru Anthony is an amazing coach that truly has immense love of and knowledge of the art. Everyone here is very friendly and welcoming, I instantly felt at home on the first day here. They also have a top tier boxing program led by coach Von where they have already developed great competitive fighters. Whether you’re looking to compete or just get into shape you can’t go wrong joining OBJJ!

From the moment we walked into this gym, it was clear that we had stumbled upon something special. The owner is an absolute gem; our lively chats with him made us feel right at home, and my daughter had a blast during her first class. We were so blown away by the experience that we can't help but shout from the rooftops: if you're in the area, this gym is a must-visit! Since that exhilarating first day, our excitement has only skyrocketed. My daughter has been on an impressive journey, recently earning her second stripe on her gray/black belt in BJJ. Both my wife and I are over the moon with pride. After diving into all the classes myself, I can vouch for the top-notch training provided by the coaches. In Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), the owner—a remarkable 4th-degree black belt—anchors the gym with his unmatched expertise. Alongside Professors Luis and Gary, every class is a masterclass in technique and professionalism. These champions not only lead with skill but also offer personalized guidance to ensure everyone truly nails the techniques. When it comes to Judo, Lakea is nothing short of phenomenal. His skills are in a league of their own, with black belts in both Judo and BJJ to back it up. And let’s not forget Coach Von, who takes boxing to a whole new level. His classes are a perfect blend of high-level knowledge and fun, creating an environment where learning is as enjoyable as it is effective. My 12-year-old daughter is head over heels for both the kids’ and adults’ boxing programs. She feels supported and respected by Coach Von, which gives me peace of mind even when I'm not around. The gym itself is a gem, featuring an MMA cage and a professional boxing ring. It’s always pristine and inviting, bringing together a vibrant mix of people. The staff—Tyson, Juan, Ila, Pianky, and Chris—are the friendly faces that make every visit a pleasure, greeting everyone with genuine warmth and enthusiasm. In a nutshell, this gym exceeds every expectation. Whether you're hunting for world-class training or a fantastic community vibe, make sure you check it out if you’re in the area. It’s a total game-changer!

I’ve been training with Coach Anthony for a year, and my form and technique have improved drastically. When we first moved to Orlando, Coach Anthony gave us a warm welcome, and this gym quickly became a second home for me. Over the past year, the gym has continually improved, even adding new equipment to help us train and become better fighters. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend checking out the Muay Thai program.

I joined this gym for their Muay Thai program. The classes are phenomenal! I feel like I’m not wasting my time coming here, the classes are intense and fun. Coach Anthony really knows what he’s doing! He is helpful, attentive and so nice. I also started taking boxing classes and they’re phenomenal.

I felt so welcomed here! I was in Orlando on vacation and didn’t want to pause my training so I took Coach Anthony’s Muay Thai class and Coach Von’s boxing class. I learned so much in my week there. Coach Anthony challenge me to be the best fighter I can be, really helped me with my technique, the function movements of each strike and really helped me with my mindset as well. Coach Von was an inspiration too, he helped me with my footwork and striking. I’d definitely return every time I visit Orlando, as well will highly consider it when I move back. Shoutout to Coach Roman too, he’s a beast and helped me with my conditioning! Definitely feels like a family in there!!

Where do I even begin - Wah Lum Temple is the absolute BEST to work with! We loved having them at our event - truly a highlight. Their team and performers are all the sweetest, most talented individuals and it would be an honor to have them again at our next festival. Thank you all again for a weekend for the books! :)

We recently had Wah Lum Temple perform a Lion Dance for a private New Year's celebration. They exceeded all expectations and were the hightlight of our party. The children were so excited to see the amazing performance and hear the musicians. Sifu Mimi Chan was very easy to work with and responsive to our needs. I would highly recommend them for your next event.

My teen and I did a tour of the Tau Chi class. The instructor is patient in teaching the steps. Relaxing music playing in a large room with open doors. Friendly front desk staff and teachers. Highly recommend during this pandemic if you need to find a way to relax or heal.

I started at the Wah Lum Temple over a year ago at the age of 61, searching for an exercise program I could continue throughout my life. I’ve definitely found that through their traditional Tai Chi program I am already experiencing improved balance, posture and strength, naturally I wish I had started sooner. I also became interested in the Kung Fu classes and though intimidated at my age to start the Sifu’s were very encouraging and suggested I try it and just work at my own pace. It was very empowering to get better each week at the kicks and sequences in the program. At Wah Lum, there are several highly qualified, knowledgeable and patient Sifu’s and Sijye’s there to help you work through the programs. If you're interested in learning Authentic Chinese Forms or just to get in shape and improve your health there are a variety of excellent programs at the Temple.

I really enjoy the conditioning class. I wish I started younger but it’s very fun and a comfortable setting. I was kind of hoping to get trained by their cat, Dojo Cat, but she is a sweetheart of a cat when she comes by. Thank you for the continued help on my physic and look forward to the new location up the road.

This is a fun place to take your family that's affordable. Larry runs a nice business here and all the people are friendly to their customers. I remember seeing him outside talking to each wrestler after their match and teaching them the do's and don'ts about the match that I just. You don't see that very often, he is a class act. and a business professional. In his prime he was the best at what he did. I don't remember another professional wrestler or entertainer that could play the camera with such arrogance and portray the perfect bad guy like Larry did in his prime. I would recommend his wrestling school to anyone that's serious about it.

Thank you for all the extra training and has helping me so much in wrestling! I had very little training prior and thought I was doing well. This was so eye opening and helpful. Now, I make so much more money wrestling with the skills I learned from Chasyn at Team Vision Dojo.

Such a great school!! Extremely knowledgeable and patient trainers who will teach you at your pace in the beginners class. The advanced classes are a bit more intense. Flexible scheduling to accommodate your needs. They understand we all have jobs and families. I've been training here for almost 2 years and not only have I received the best training but I've also met some pretty amazing people and made some lifelong friends. And got to work some pretty sweet gigs for MLW and Impact wrestling. If you want to be a pro wrestler, this is the place to start.

What I really like about Ace is how relaxed, warm, and friendly it is. Professor Thiago is such an outgoing guy, and you can tell he's not just going through the motions but actually enjoys what he does. The students are diverse- different body types, abilities, and belt levels, and the mats are always full every time I've been. Considering there are three other BJJ gyms within minutes of ACE, the full classes are a great sign of a good program. Students often stay after class to practice and drill and guests are welcomed as if they were long time members. For the new-to-BJJ, nervous, or introverted, this gym is a great option. There always are multiple upper belts on the mats every time I go. The classes also have lots of students who have been with the gym a long time. These are all great indicators of good leadership. What I really like about Thiago is his exemplified understanding of leadership. He leads by giving people the freedom and independence to explore their own learning path and their own learning style without dogma or politics, or preaching, all while providing competition-proven technique and a friendly and inclusive atmosphere. I've never heard him talk bad about any other gym or over explain technique. Plus, picture time after class is pretty cool! You can tell by his attention to detail in setting up the class picture that Thiago gives his full attention to whatever he does. For context and perspective: I have trained multiple times at all of the BJJ gyms in this local area except GB, (Ace, CSA, and FRBJJ), and Ace is one of the two that I recommend for all belt levels, genders, personality types, and differently-abled.

My daughter loves taking lessons its like her number 1 goal to get to black belt and most likely stay after that she just really loves going. Master Nelson is the real deal he cares for each and every student but like every time she gets a stripe it just makes her day! But seriously he is the big deal not to harsh on them but not to soft on them😁

I brought my daughter Kiara to coach for an evaluation because of her disability. Coach Frank provided private screenings for 3 weeks one on one to ensure that he could evaluate correctly, she is now a blue belt and has gained strength, mobility and discipline. Best decision we ever made to improve the physical and mental health of our daughter. She has gain ability and a new circle of friends that are like family. Highly recommend.

Don't waste your time & money going anywhere else. The majority of the dojos out there are money grabbing pyramid schemes where you pay to play. Master Nelson is the real deal. He genuinely cares about each and every student. His goal is to make every student the best that they can be.

Master Nelson is a great teacher, he worries about every kid and gets to know them very well. My daughter loves going to her lessons, she doesn't speaks English and he tries to explain in a way that is easier for her to understand, with his hands, using spanish when it's possible, etc. We went and tried for a month, but never left. I highly recommend it!

Excellent leadership, training, personal fitness, and knowledge. Not only will you learn forms, and self-defense, but the history and spirit behind them. Master nelson is not only a great instructor, but he makes it his purpose to be personally invested in every student . He truly cares about each student and their success in class and outside as well!
