At the school, there's a wide range of skills to master, including Taichi, Shaolin Kung Fu, Wushu, and lion dances. It offers a diverse and enriching learning experience. At the school, students have opportunities to not only showcase their skills but also engage in community service. It's great to see them contributing both inside and outside the school environment.

We have been with shifu for over 15 years and the school (along with parents and athletes) is our second family. Shifu is a very creative teacher who communicates great details to his teaching. He has successfully made many international champions in wushu and traditional kung fu styles. In addition, he also instills perseverance, confidence, and leadership skills in his students through training, competitions, and community demonstrations. Best place to be for kids of all ages! .

After three years of watching my daughter thrive under Shifu's guidance at the Houston Shaolin Kung Fu Academy, I couldn't be more impressed. Shifu is more than just a great martial arts instructor. He's a mentor who fosters his students' skills and character development. The entire team, including the students, creates a welcoming and supportive environment, especially for kids.

This is a very good kung fu school. The teacher's teaching is very professional and very responsible. I am very happy that my children will study here!

This is a great place. I came here when I was 5 and now I’m 16 and things have been going on good. There’s a lot of physical training and endurance running in here which helped me learn things I never know I could do. You learn a lot of self defense, respect. If you get really good you can perform or compete.

I did my summer training here this Summer with my friends, and I had a lot of fun, and made a lot of improvement in multiple areas. The teachers were nice, understanding, and were not extremely demanding. They understood where I was, where I wanted to be, and the best ways for me to get there. They have plenty of equipment to be able to do multiple styles, and enough room to be able to do forms and sets. The venue is equipped as well with a small shower area to wash off after an intense workout. I definitely want to come back again in the months to come.

Really solid class.The master teaches with patience and very seriously. My kids learned respect discipline and inner peace in the first month and they love the classes.

Great place with a great teacher. A very positive, fun and encouraging learning environment where each student can progresses at their own pace and pursue their own interest in Chinese Martial arts whether it be modern Wushu, Traditional Kung Fu, Tai Chi, Lion Dance or Dragon dance.

DO NOT RESERVE THE OUTSIDE FIELD!!! STAY AWAY!! There is holes everywhere that will cause injuries on the floor. This field has not been fixed in 5+ years! When talked to management, we are rudely talked to and they simply do no care to even negotiate a different price. I have seen the workers drug use outside, and have literally seen a worker ask a guest to hit their VAPE!! What a disgusting establishment. UPDATE- others who left reviews, who I was not associated With, caused me to get harassed even more. These guys ALLEGEDLY claim I have an outstanding fee of over 40 times I “did not show up” that is insane… I have proof of them also stealing from customers. The workers will do anything to cut a few extra dollars for themselves.

My go to place for indoor soccer, you can find pick up games on the Peli app too. Convenient location with free parking and multiple soccer fields.

I have been there few times in the past few years, this place is busy and you can tell people like to come over here to play. I have seen them host birthday parties, small gatherings and weekend events for the kids.

STAY AWAY, my friend broke his ankle tripping on the inside big field, this place makes so much money and overcharges but never fixes the fields. We complained to the workers and they said to leave and never come back, when we threatened to sue them a male worker chased us out with a bat and threw the bat to the car almost shattering our windshield. Half the players that played got covid and are terminally ill.

This place is disgusting, restrooms are filthy the indoor place feels like you will get staph from just sitting there, with a broken field and nets on top that just hold your ball up there. And the outside field is horrendous and was told to play at our own risk, they really do not care about how this place looks, they sell all types of snacks and food and I don’t even think they have a permit, and I have seen roaches in there at least 3 times, the workers are rude and do not care about you, please save your time and money and go somewhere else Update- thanks for the reply, shows how you care as a business owner, I am a 26 year old man and this is my only account, so idk what you mean by being banned and what not I have only reserved this place 3 times and all 3 times I have gone, I used to love this place but thank you for this.

If you play tennis this is your mecca. I should've paid more attention to the fact that they explicitly named this location "Lifetime Tennis." If you're here for the gym I'd suggest going somewhere else, the gym is equivalent to a nice hotel gym. It's a small room, with enough equipment to get a workout in, but you'll feel like you're having to compromise on equipment if lifting weights is your thing. Also, parking is a pain - took me calling to find out I need to park on level 3 of the orange garage. 4 stars bc it's a nice place and clean but I don't see any reason to come here other than for tennis.

I was shocked that this gym was really nice. I normally go to the greenway location, but I got stuck in traffic in the galleria area. The gym area is very clean, and empty. The tennis courts were busy with people playing. I will definitely come back. Parking is similar to citycentre/green street locations, you have to drive up to find parking.

Should be called Plane Lifetime. Here visiting the area, and thought I’d continue my workout here since I’m an adult with my ish together. After completing the side quest to find this place, I walked into what had to be a planet fitness with an obnoxious amount of tennis courts. The “weight room” consisted of 1 bench, 1 incline bench, 3 adjustable benches, and a bunch of machines and cardio…it’s typical of what you’d find on a resort or a cruise ship…luckily it looks like a real lifetime is down the street…the staff here is cool though

The worst lighting. Heard people talk about it before and several complaints. Will not be playing in anymore tournaments here that’s for sure

They have pickleball open play here on select nights. Absolutely love it. Started my pickleball journey here when I was a beginner and everyone was very friendly. The pickleball coordinator, John Binns, is also super nice & really talented. Other management and staff are also incredibly awesome. I love it here. There’s a decent variety of skill levels, it’s definitely a hidden gem. Only $5 open play on Monday & Wednesday nights!!! Seriously the best community in Houston!

Affordable indoor facility near Fondren @ Westheimer, gated entry/exit, great people who love tennis. Lots of programs for kids and moms and 3.5/4.0 players. Unlike Westside tennis club, there are no giraffes at this facility - but to my knowledge there’s never been a giraffe in the ATP Top 200, so I don’t think we’re missing much. Highly recommend.

Daughter comes for private tennis lessons with Alan. Staff are so welcoming and helpful. Very clean and large facility. You can play pickleball as well. They have a small area with very basic gym equipment as well. Overall, great indoor tennis courts to play, over 10 plus courts.

Great facility and attentive staff! Easy to book court time for members and great coaches there. I highly recommend Phi for tennis lessons, but the others are really good too. They are great at creating a sense of community for the tennis crowd and pickleball players.

My daughter has had the privilege of being a student at Alliance for 1 year and we have consistently been impressed with the professionalism, cleanliness, and overall quality of the school. I have been at this gym for a few months now, and honestly this is probably the best gym there is out there. They are super friendly and patient with their new/old members. Everyone helps each other! It’s really the best kind of environment to be in !

Coach Mike, Coach Austin, and Marco are absolutely what you need in order to fulfill your goals. The coaches push you to do your best, check in on you, care about your overall wellness, and are so fun! The family type atmosphere is so welcoming, especially for people like me who have anxiety about going to gyms. All the gym members are so friendly and supportive.

My kids love coming to the class. It is very kid-friendly. All the coaches are great. Coach Stephanie is amazing and professional. She is always there to help with any questions. Very knowledgeable and patient. Highly recommended.

A great ji-jutsu gym and learning environment. Very flexible, creative but professional with their approach to teaching and also very welcoming to newcomers. Definitely recommend to every one regardless of their level of experience with ji-jutsu. They also offer yoga classes in tandem.

Fantastic place to come train Jiu Jitsu. Drew is a top notch instructor and very high level practitioner. The other students have legit Jiu Jitsu skills and will help you learn and the gym culture is awesome. Kids class is also very good. My son loves class and made a bunch of good friends. Very engaging sport for kids. Saturday is cool for Dads because you can bring your kid at 10 for 4-7 yr class then train at 11 in adults class while the kids have fun hanging out. Check it out.

My kids and I started our martial arts journey at Meyerland Martial Arts near the start of covid and these many years later we are still here learning, growing and thankful for the journey. I have personally taken several forms of martial arts over my lifetime but i have never stayed the course as long as I have at Meyerland Martial Arts and it’s no surprise. I jumped in to take lessons with my kids as a non traditional way of father/daughter&son time and to teach them, by example, the power of dedication and what can be built by staying the course, working at something consistently over time and becoming part of something greater. What we have found, over the years, at Meyerland Martial Arts has been wonderful. The team and staff have provided a safe environment to learn in, Master Mike is rightly focused on quality instruction while keeping everyone safe and, after time, it has come to feel like family more than just a place to take martial arts classes. Over the years, things don’t always run smoothly, some days have been better than others and things have shifted at times. But, that’s true in every aspect of my life - that’s just part of being human. That said, what we have always found is a safe place where we always have the opportunity to learn and grow and where there is a team of individuals, under the leadership of Master Mike, that are partners in our journey of learning, fitness and self improvement. If you’re looking for a place to learn martial arts, I recommend Meyerland Martial Arts without reservation. Whether you stay for a short time or many years like us, I know you will feel welcome everyday and will always have an opportunity to learn something new or get better at something you’re working to master. Everyone is incredibly kind and patient. My eight year old daughter just started here and we can already see the difference with her confidence. She loves it and looks forward to her classes every week.

My experience has been fantastic. I love how exceptional this martial arts program is. My favorite aspect is how well-structured and organized it is—everything is truly by the book, and I really appreciate that. Additionally, the staff is incredibly hands-on; they meticulously correct your form and posture, letting you know when you're doing something incorrectly and showing you the right way.
