If your child loves the game of basketball host their next Birthday Party at Pat The Rock Basketball Academy. You will have zero regrets and more importantly your child and their friends will have a BLAST!!! The gym is aesthetically pleasing the staff is knowledgeable on the game of basketball and they lead the kids in drills, 5 on 5 game, have the smoke machine going as each player comes out to join their team. In addition they have music playing the entire time with a camera man who is capturing highlights from the party. Every single parent contacted me after my son’s party to share with me how much fun their son had. Pat The Rock continue making memorable moments for those who love the game! This was one of my son’s BEST Birthday parties.

My family has been coming to this location for more than 5 years and it’s had a tremendous impact on my boys and their physical/mental/social health. The teachers here are kind, patient, and FUN. I always enjoy watching their classes and seeing them build skills through drills, partner activities, and games. My boys love coming and it’s been so rewarding watching them earn different belts over the years. As a bonus, over the last year, I’ve joined their kickboxing classes and have seen my own transformation. Their adult kickboxing classes provide fun full-body workouts that I can follow at my own pace. Coming to Kicks is truly the highlight of our week. I’m sure all locations are great, but teachers here are special.

I can’t say enough good things about Kicks Karate! All of the instructors are wonderful. You can tell they love teaching karate! They are patient, kind, and fun! The class is active and engaging but never chaotic. We love staying to watch. It is true that the classes help to build confidence and it has been awesome to watch that happen. We also love how there are multiple instructors in each class. And the flexibility to come to any 2 classes (offered 6 days a week) is so nice!

We love Kicks Karate at Darnestown! My kid has been in the little ninjas program for almost a year and he's gained so much confidence and met new friends. We love the instructors who are all fun and funny! But they do an amazing job teaching first time listening, focus and self control. My kid loves it and We'll be here for a long time!

Kicks has been awesome from the very start. The Instructors are extremely knowledgeable and well versed in teaching children with and without experience in Karate. For groups of 7-10 kids, no one is slighted as they are all receiving one on one instruction and each are learning at their own pace. My child started with just a few classes and quickly took liking, I would definitely recommend Kicks for kids at beginner or higher learning levels.

We love coming to Kicks Karate. We dont have to push to come to class, he loves going to class. He has made friends as well. At the same time, he has learned discipline and following directions. Every instructor are amazing. Instructor are easy to talk to and each have fun personality (Mr. Nick, Mr. Josh, Mr. Walter and Mr. Lee).

tkd is a korean marial art. the master is an authentic korean tkd instructor. he is great with kids. a good balance of discipline and compassion. has a history of top students in tournaments. a great place to get real korean tkd instruction.

We started attending classes this year and go on weekdays. Myself being a total out of shape beginner in his 30's, and my partner out of practice for ~15 years. Grand Master Choi is a wonderful teacher who believes in his students (even when I didn't believe in myself). The students are friendly and the training is intense. You won't be disappointed here. Update: It's even better now that we started sparring. 10/10 would recommend to ANYONE.

My two children matured so much physically and mentally while attending this school. Grand Master Choi leads by example and teaches his students to be respectful and disciplined by demonstrating those qualities himself. Taekwondo sparring techniques are constantly evolving. Mudo USA teaches the latest techniques using modern and efficient training methods.

Absolutely the BEST "Authentic" Taekwondo academy in the DMV. Both my son's (9yr and 13yrs old) have been going to Mudo USA for almost 2yrs and we love it. We tried many dojo's prior to finding MUDO and we are extremely happy to have found Mudo USA. This isn't the typical franchised dojo that's there to just collect your many, but completely the opposite. The owner, Grandmaster Choi, is at every class from beginner to the advanced and is truly committed to the success of his students, not only from martial arts standpoint, but more importantly he teaches RESPECT and DISCIPLINE. Our boys love going there and as parents we love watching them greatly improve month over month. We will certainly be going to Mudo USA for many more years to come!

I do taekwondo here, the teachers are really nice and their teaching methods are really good, I recommend this place if you want to do martial arts.
