Ok then PTA!!!!!! This is real nice athletic training center for youth. The owner, Cedric Thornton, has a very diverse knowledge of sports (he played in school and in the NFL) and is ready to prepare youth for the next level. The facility is nestled in the heart of Frisco and Ced has the drive and expertise to provide specialized training to tomorrow’s youth!

I needed help with improving my run time and endurance while rehabbing a back injury. I wasn't sure that was possible, but PTA did it! My back recovered fully, and my running improved significantly. My son started going to the afternoon training, and not only did it improve his skills, it helped build his confidence too! If you are looking for a place for your kids to train, learn, and grow, then go to Preparing Tomorrow's Athletes!

Cedric and his coaches are awesome. They've taken my two kids who were average players and indifferent about their sports to being very good players who now care about getting better and look forward to practice and games. Cedric teaches the fundamentals and techniques that my kids haven't gotten elsewhere that has greatly improved their ability and enjoyment. And he makes it fun for them. I am very thankful for everything they have done for us. You won't find a better person or training than this.

My family has been at Lakes Tennis since 2017 and we love everyone here! The court are nicely managed and a real benefit is having court lights so tennis is open later than some places. We mainly do private lessons with Coach Lauren but the junior program is also amazing. Overall I love the tennis family here!

We feel so blessed to have found the Lake’s! Both my son and daughter are thriving, and we have officially become a tennis family. The coaches and staff have been above and beyond in setting the kids up for success. Along with fantastic tennis coaching, there is a huge emphasis on not just excellence with tennis skills, but also life skills on and off the court. Grateful!

Both of our daughters attended the full time program at Lakes Tennis Academy for 5 years. As parents, we couldn't have imagined a better place for the girls to train and develop on and off the court. We are very thankful for the staff and coaches at Lakes Tennis Academy, they are a huge part of both girls success on and off the court.

This MMA gym is top-notch! The facilities are clean, and well-maintained. The unlimited access option is an incredible deal. The coaches are highly skilled and supportive. My son is very happy there and highly recommend for anyone serious about MMA training.

Not sure how to give the owner a great review. But they are definitely deserving of it. The fact that they have a free open mat on Saturdays for even beginners is almost unheard of and they definitely deserve the most props for that. I train at a completely separate gym but when I can, I will go to this gym to practice on Saturdays when I can because my gym only offers kickboxing. They deserve only 5 star reviews. It’s a simple facility but what more do you really need?. Get better and get good at jiu jitsu and all types of boxing! Love it and have loved my experience again 5 STARS❤️🫶

NG MMA was one of the best choices I made for myself to start my MMA experience. The staff and coaches are fantastic and passionate about their craft, and the community was very welcoming. It can be intimidating to start at a gym, especially a MMA gym but everyone I rolled and sparred with were really respectful and offered a lot of advice. They offer a great variety of classes and timings, and also offer 24hr access to the gym which is amazing for late night bag or lift sessions.

Been training here for a while, coaches are great! Awesome atmosphere and the classes are fun but very informative. Coach Delmer and Coach Chris are the BEST! Thanks for the amazing culture there

Instructors here are awesome, I started with a 6 month membership and then got a year membership recently. My only two complaints are listed below. More effort could be put into cleaning the restrooms. It is not at all acceptable for how disgusting they are. Turn the air on or add cheap oscillating fans. You want your members to have better endurance while training? Help them keep their body temperature down as much as possible.

So there we were, trying to make plans for the day. Nothing outside sounded good. Until we began to pass the athletic center. And there she was the biggest water park this side of the Mississip. We decided to take the shot and try it out and boooooy howdy did we make the right decision. We kicked back in the sun while the kids ran around like Anxiety from the movie Inside-out 2. There was so much to do that at one point we lost a few kids for a while but they showed back up when they became hungry. The atmosphere was great and we got seats pretty easily. Staff was nice and there were lots of employees which made us feel safer than the declaration of independence when Nick Cage ain’t around. I would definitely recommend FAC to anyone who needs to cool off.

Amazing. Nice recreation spot in heart of the city Frisco. I visited during summer break and it's packed with kids. Even adults can enjoy like me. Entry is free if you have FAC membership. Else $13/adult. Decent sized dress changing rooms for men, women, family. Snack place to buy. This place has many lifeguards, good water rides, lazy pool.

Nice athletics center with plenty of activities to do, ranging from basketball, swimming, and even a water park open during summer. The upstairs gym is expansive.

Great place to get out of the heat and house for the family. And for $11 you can't beat it! I haven't been to Hurricane Harbor in years but I'm pretty sure the cost is slightly more. Even though there are less "rides" there is plenty to keep you busy and cool.

I absolutely love this gym. I’ve been a member for the last 3 years, and the facility and equipment continue to get better every year. First off, the gym is HUGE, and it offers two levels of everything you need to get the kind of workout you’re looking for. They offer a variety of classes such as yoga, spinning, aerobics and more. I have not taken a class yet, but I’m planning on it soon. I’ll post an update once I do. The entire facility is very clean, and the staff is helpful when you need them. I take my son to the child care facility frequently, and he always has a great time meeting new kids and playing games. Lastly, if you’re looking to get some laps in, or just relax in the water, they have several indoor swimming pools, as well as a seasonal outdoor waterpark. The facility offers so much more to see and do. I highly recommend this facility for all of your fitness and recreational needs.

My boys love this gym! The staff is incredibly friendly, and Coach Everett is truly experienced and knowledgeable. My kids had no previous experience with wrestling, but Coach Everett was patient and took the time to teach them the fundamentals. He knows how to motivate and encourage them while making each class fun and engaging. This is an excellent place for beginners and experienced wrestlers alike. Highly recommend for anyone looking to get their kids into wrestling!

My nephew absolutely loves his time at this gym! The focus on strengthening and conditioning has really boosted his confidence and resilience. The coach is incredible patient, motivating, and skilled at pushing him to reach his full potential. He’s constantly excited to go back, not only to work hard but also to be around such a positive, driven community. We’ve seen him grow stronger both physically and mentally, and it’s amazing to see the impact this gym has on him. Highly recommended for anyone looking to build strength, skill, and a love for wrestling!

Best wrestling club in the area, coach Harris is amazing, taught all the kids both mentally and physically. Not only all tough wrestling skills, but also deep understanding of wrestling and how they should behave during the training as well as emotion control. My son loves here, the best choice we made for him for sure!

The staff is incredibly punctual, and always starts class on time. No matter the size of the class, the kids always seem to be engaged, active and attentive with the coaching staff. My grandson’s coach seems to be able to connect with kids who are five and six years old. Such a great way to burn energy, learn something and help build confidence. Coach Everette not only does this because he enjoys it, he has a lot of experience after wrestling in college himself. This is a family endeavor as his sons wrestle as well. Would not think twice about sending any child to gym 580.

Gym 580 has been amazing for our son. Coach Everette is so patient and pours everything into training and mentoring these kids. It’s more than excellent wrestling skills that your kid will learn. Our 9 year old son has matured, learned accountability , and gained a mental toughness from his 2 years of training at Gym 580. It’s a very personalized experience and I highly recommend this gym!
