One of my favorite spots! All the instructors I've had were amazing and so sweet. Everyone thanked them by the end of class, you will feel welcomed and get a good workout.

I’ve taken classes at Rocksalt’s RWC location before and was excited to hear there was a location closer to home. I’ve taken the Strength class here and the Stretch class. The studio is really clean and the classes are well structured. I’ve tried other Pilates studios before and often found them to be too easy but Rocksalt is just the right amount of challenging for me (+ you can scale up or down the difficulty based on your own abilities)! IMO Rocksalt has the best Pilates classes in South Bay!

I had the best class with instructor Gisselle! She was so positive and made sure to come around and make sure everyones form was corrected if needed. She made me feel comfortable and went at a good pace. She also emphasized to only do as much as my body allows which I have never been told before, it was nice to hear. This was my second time trying pilates and I will definitely be going back because of her. Also, her music taste is 10/10! she had me ready for my day. Great class Gisselle(:

An amazing experience. I loved how friendly everyone is! The studio has a lot of natural light which is a great perk that not a lot of studios have. I 100% recommend anyone try this place !!

Truly the cornerstone of my fitness journey!! I love all the instructors I’ve had (my favorite is Jasmine), and moved up from taking single classes weekly to now an annual membership! The location is well cared for, well kept, and I look forward to my classes every time! I have last minute canceled once or twice due to personal reasons, but I find that to enforce a good experience for others, the cancellation policy is fair and reasonable. I understand that people get flustered when they’re late, but I have only witnessed the instructors and management be extremely professional. But for those who have not taken these courses, once the classes get going, it can be a bit chaotic, so I reckon it is definitely an issue of safety and liability to not allow folks to join in mid class.

I tried a class today for the first time with Sara J. I felt she was helpful, kind and knowledgeable of the moves. I’d take another class she teaches. I definitely had a different experience than some of the other reviews, maybe they took actions to improve or I just had a better instructor. I showed up about ~8 minutes early and waited in the lobby area until class. The lights were dimmed in class and the music was enjoyable.

I’m visiting my folks from NYC so thought I’d check this studio out. This thing that you aren’t allowed in until 10 minutes before class is absurd. If it’s cold outside or you need to use the restroom you have to just wait it out - pretty unprofessional for a big waiting room in the studio. The instructors seem to also be confused on what the moves are. They demonstrate one thing prior to class but then ask us to do something different, whether it’s a type of lunge exercise or arm exercise. Now I’ve done enough classes to recognize where they went wrong but not everyone is able to. The instructors should probably learn what they are expecting us to do. Lastly, the music leaves a lot to be desired. This is meant to be an intense class - I’m not trying to listen to Fireflies by Owl City to get motivated and pumped up. Overall, just felt that the instructors need more polish to be on par with those out east and the music selection needs to be a lot more motivating.

So other than the fact they don’t turn off the lights during class like all other Solidcore locations do, they have some very confused instructors with awful music and no motivation. The worst out of the instructors is Asheley. Her class was easily the worst Solidcore class I have ever taken. She didn’t know the moves and would constantly confuse herself and the class. Her music was awful and you could tell she was reading off of a script the entire class. Would not recommend.

Tried their "intro class" and was beyond confused. It was so obvious that it was everyone's first time cuz we all looked so confused throughout the whole class. I was expecting some explanation at the beginning of the class about all the springs attached to the machine but the class just begun and the instructor was just busy doing her own stuff. If it's your very time trying solidcore like myself, I think there's a reason why you sign up for "intro class". It would have been nice if the instructor actually showed the moves during class instead of just just being a cheerleader. Since the music is loud and the class is fast-paced, everytime the instructor was like "do this move and now do this and now move"I tried to look at what other people were doing next to me, and they all didn't know what to do either we were just looking at each other lol After class they keep sending me texts like how was my first class and stuff and of course I replied saying how I feel but no respone til now. Why ask then???

I started working with AnnaLena because of a reoccurring knee injury. She helped me figure out the cause and designed a series of exercises to increase the strength and flexibility of the muscles affecting my knee. I credit her with my full recovery and continue to work with her regularly. I would highly recommend AnnaLena to anyone interested in Pilates, Core Align or dealing with injuries. She is knowledgeable, experienced and has a great space.

If you are looking for an awesome Pilates teacher, I highly recommend AnnaLena at Move Beyond Pilates. I've been taking classes from AnnaLena for over 2 years and have enjoyed it. AnnaLena really listens and adapts her lessons and exercises to my specific needs. Through injuries, adapting to new sports and correcting old habits, I am so pleased with the progress I have made.
