Alane has changed my life. I came to her at age 72 with tons of body issues. Scoliosis, poor posture, poor balance, weak core and pain in various areas. Now I’m 73 and on the road to being strong with good posture and improved gait. Her knowledge of Pilates and all that the human body is capable of is amazing. Plus she is patient. She makes each session worthwhile and I leave feeling awesome. I can’t recommend her enough, like I said…she has changed my life in such a positive way. Thank you Alane!

I have been doing Pilates on and off for over 30 years, mostly in the SF Bay Area with top classic movement teachers. I am so appreciative to have found Alane Schechter with Modern Body Pilates after a few years living in San Diego County. She is highly trained and always brings to the practice new approaches that are innovative, fun, and challenging. We work together to keep my core strong and my body flexible and balanced, whether on the classic reformer or other modern equipment in her solo studio. On the rare occasions I get a flair up of sciatica during a busy work week she cues me back into alignment and I leave pain free. She’s that good. Alane works with female and male clients of different abilities and ages from top athletes and pregnant moms to seniors. I truly recommend her to you. Your body and spirit will thank you.

Alane has been a God send in my life! With her expertise in anatomy & body movement her pilates classes are challenging & safe. Under her excellent instruction -even through covid via zoom- my health & daily movement have improved dramatically. Alane is knowledgeable and caring. I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking to improve their life & health!

I was visiting from Virginia and booked a private class based on the reviews. It was a really amazing experience and I sincerely wish I had more time at this studio. Highly recommend to anyone looking to perfect their form.

It feels amazing to be back at Club Pilates! I dedicated almost 2 years to it in Rancho Bernardo before taking a break when I moved to Oceanside. Now that I'm back, I can genuinely feel the positive impact on both my mental and physical health. What I truly appreciate about Club Pilates is how the instructors meticulously explain each movement and highlight which parts of your body should be engaged during the exercises.

I've been going since September 2024. After being a Marine for 11 years, out for 20 years and...a mom for the last 29... lots and lots of aches and pains, I needed something to bring back my mobility and strength... yes, I've gained a few extra pounds after 3 kids, but the goal was motion is lotion... I come home after every class feeling rejuvenated and refreshed... and feel stronger every day and bending and lifting isn't as hard as it used to be... My husband told me the other day, while hugging me, he's feeling muscles on my back side (didn't want to ask what he felt before 🤣) I hesitated writing the post because I don't want to share with you our instructors... because I'm an only child and selfish like that... but...I do believe in uplifting others... so I guess I'll share... I don't have any other pilates experiences to compare them to...I just know I can't do the high impact, fast paced physical exercise I used to do in my younger days. I can say at 53 years old (😢😢😢) they are helping me accomplish my non new year resolution goals with more movement, less pain, and more strength.

I love pilates. Club Pilates Oceanside has amazing instructions and a great atmosphere. The classes are varied and the experience is positive. You aren't forced to do anything outside of your comfort zone, but you often realize you are capable of more. The instructions make correction which aids you in becoming more flexible. You also meet a variety of different people which makes it even more enjoyable. Been coming for over a year and have seen a difference in strength and flexibility.

I love Club Pilates Oceanside! Doing Pilates three times a week has greatly improved my golf game because my core is so much stronger. On top of that, I love the classes and the instructors are amazing. I especially love the classes with Natalie and Sarah. I have been enrolled here since they opened and both of these instructors have helped me get stronger over the last couple of years.

I started Pilates at the beginning of the year to try something new. I had no idea I would grow to love it so much! I like that each instructor challenges you in a different way and provides modifications to help you progress and succeed at your comfort level. I love coming in and seeing a familiar instructor but still being introduced to new and different tools, techniques, and workouts. Majority of classes I have attended have left me sweaty and shaky and smiling! And the results are great too! 😉
