This is exactly the type of lifting and workout I've been needing. Bobby has a logical and approachable point of view on what sustainable fitness looks like that's truly sustainable. As a former collegiate athlete, I previously struggled with designing my own plan and figuring out how to reset my expectations of what a workout could be while balancing "life". The custom program and continued evaluation helps me see my progress. Joining the gym is one of the best decisions I've made this year.

I joined opex about 4 months ago and it was the best decision I’ve made! I am middle aged, was intimated by big gyms, and had 2 back to back hernia surgeries. I knew I needed to start my health journey, but was scared. Opex has exceeded my expectations! Not only does Bobby consider my previous injuries and makes sure I’m doing every exercise the right way, he touches on lifestyle changes and nutrition goals to make sure I get the results I’m looking for. I love the “family” feel of this gym and am no longer intimidated. I already feel strong! He is inspiring and I’m so happy I took the leap!

Bobby & Chelsa are highly knowledgeable and a joy to work. The initial assessments allowed the team to create a strength and fitness plan that was catered to my needs, my body and my personal goals. The atmosphere is inviting and unique to any other fitness experience. In just a couple short months- I had more energy & reset my habits. I focused on quality sleep, daily movement & stress management. My body composition is changing- losing over 20 lbs so far & gaining muscle mass. Their Inbody technology allows me to see results including how much fat I have lost and the amount of muscle mass gained. I have become optimistic about my health & feel relief VS. worrying about it. I look forward to going to the gym & being around positive energy. Bobby as a coach has eliminated my decision fatigue because he creates the program for me. My daily movement , strength training & lifestyle habits are already laid out for me. Life is too busy as it is - having my fitness and health aspects of my life already set up for me is invaluable. I am so glad I am investing in my health and ‘filling up my cup’ as a busy mom.

I joined OPEX a little over 3 months ago after several lifestyle changes/life events over a couple of years had significantly eroded my strength and fitness. I have been working with Bobby Scott and love OPEX's overall approach of personalized fitness plans that are completed in a motivating, friendly shared space. My initial fitness plan was highly tailored to my goals & baseline strength and mobility. Everyone is different, but for me, I head from the workout straight into a draining job so the workouts need to leave something in the tank for the rest of the day. Bobby has been great about making adjustments in real time and week to week if weights need to go higher or lower or if certain movements need more of a beginner progression or aggravate midlife aches and pains. My day to day activities outside of the gym are already easier as my strength has increased and that is both a big relief and a virtuous cycle as it enables me to be more active. After a couple of years of inconsistent attempts to do fitness apps on my own or to remember to sign up for group classes, it feels great to have an efficient/enjoyable and customized routine that will evolve as I do. Each week, I just show up and Bobby has already put everything I need to know in the app and Bobby or the other knowledgeable floor coaches offer encouragement, instructions for new exercises or form corrections along the way. I highly recommend giving OPEX a try!

I started at OPEX in February and have had the best experience. Jeff is an awesome trainer (as is Bobby!) who genuinely cares about your current state and the journey you want to be on, while catering to any weaknesses or injuries you may have to keep your body moving the best it can. The approach taken is unlike most training and is so specific to your body and all workouts are made for you and only you. OPEX is so welcoming and there is so much positivity from the moment you open the door to the moment you leave. I really appreciate the one on one attention you get while still in a group setting. It's the perfect mix. It's incredible how much stronger I feel in just the last few months. Getting a great workout and being surrounded by wonderful people is the best way to start the day!
