This was my first experience with a Freerunning or Parkour class for adults and it was so much fun! The instructors were very helpful and were well-versed in explaining the techniques that we practiced. You are welcome to go at your own pace and the gym feels very safe especially if you are being mindful with what you are doing. In the beginners session, we learned how to properly barrel roll, stop yourself on a wall, walk-through hurdles, and balancing with precision jumps. I hope to be back soon and highly recommend for anyone curious or who wants to seriously improve his or her parkour skills!

Probably cool for kids but I went as an adult just to check it out thinking it would have the welcoming vibe of like a climbing gym but that wasn't the case. Everybody was nice and friendly but I went for 16+ open gym and it was literally just a bunch of teenagers hanging out. Kind of awkward and I know for sure not everybody in that room was over 16.

I was really happy with the party we just had at Tempest until we were rudely rushed out the door before our time was up and a few of my guests told me that one of the coaches in particular were extremely rude to them. Also they didn’t even have enough seating for the children at the tables. My first and last party here. It’s too bad because otherwise the kids had a good time. There needs to be better scheduling and communication from staff.

My daughter's been coming here for a year now. She has become so much more confident physically and mentally. I like how she gets challenged and despite her fears the instructors have helped her navigate through them. Very few gyms create an environment for personal growth. I want to add that she is amongst the very few females in her class that has passed to the second level.

Amazing team of instructors! They give kids a fun and inclusive environment to and learn new skills and grow. Everyone is supportive of one another, and when someone finally masters the skill -applause often heard. My son , Alex, loves coming there, and he had his 12 th bday celebration at vortex as well:) Thank you Dante and team for all the love and hard work you put in for those kiddos:)

We love Vortex! Dante and Fonzi have helped guide and mentor my son since the moment he walked on to the gym floor. They have taught him new skills, coordination and strength he didn’t have before. They are wonderful with kids and even help challenge and encourage him in a positive way when things are hard and he wants to give up. I can’t recommend highly enough for all the skills they are helping him learn. Wonderful instructors and an amazing program. We are thrilled to be part of Vortex!

My now 5-year-old son has been taking classes at Vortex for over a year now and we have been SO impressed. Every coach there is patient and so good with kids. I feel like they’ve done so much to instill confidence in my son and help him try new/hard things. I would recommended Vortex to anyone!

My son has been coming to this place for two years. He loves it. The coaches are great with the kids and I can see considerable improvements in my son’s physical form.
