Fantastic people and place! Been going to SKN since last October and I love it. Marissa and Chris and the rest of the coaches are super kind, but will work you hard (in a great way)! Lots of reverence for Muay Thai traditions, but feels super Pittsburgh, too. Get involved! You won't regret it.

I have never loved a gym or a sport as much as I love SKN and Muy Thai! The coaches are great, the classes are fun and tough, and I never felt looked down upon for being new to the sport. Coming here helps me physically, mentally, and emotionally.

As a beginner I was extremely nervous starting out and not knowing the movements or much about Muay Thai. Marissa was beyond kind and truly walked me through the basics on day one. She made me feel welcomed and seem excited to share her knowledge. The other coaches I've been able to interact with are kind, welcoming, and really create a relaxed learning environment (but hard working!) If you're just starting out or someone who has experience this is the place you want to be.

While searching for a good place for Muay Thai in Pittsburgh I stumbled on skn and so happy I did! All of the staff is very friendly and welcoming, whether you are a beginner or experienced they accommodate everyone nicely. I had a little training previously but had a few years break and after a few weeks at skn it already feels like home. The gym is spacious and is always very clean. Equipment is all in excellent shape, bags of all shapes and sizes. If you’re debating if you should try it, you should. My first week was $30 for unlimited classes and they give you free gloves and hand wraps. After that I joined for unlimited classes @ $99 a month which is an awesome deal considering I go an average of 5 days a week.

I've tried several different martial gyms in the area, and the decision to go with SKN was very easy for me. The staff and other members are super friendly. The schedule offers plenty of classes, and the level of instruction is really good. Whether you're training to compete and bring home the belt or just want a fun workout SKN will give you the instruction and motivation for you to thrive

When I was in Pittsburgh for work last fall, I was fortunate enough to spend a week training with the fine folks at Stout Training at their Strip District location. They have loads of classes suited for every level of BJJ skill. The skill level of the people at the gym is high and still very welcoming. I will definitely come back whenever I'm in town next. My huge thanks to Sage and Logan for their incredible welcome and for creating such a vibrant community of practitioners. I would recommend the gym to anyone looking to learn or further their knowledge of the sport. 10/10

I am a brown belt and dropped in while in town for an open mat. They were super welcoming and didn’t even make me pay a drop in fee. I got an hour and a half of great rolls. Really good atmosphere and technical grapplers. Definitely would recommend.

Amazing place. The atmosphere is extremely friendly and welcoming. The coaches are very attentive and give critique where needed. The upper belts (more experienced people) are also a very good reflection of the mindset of Stout considering they also take their time to help new and current students. I would confidently and strongly recommend this place to anyone; regardless of skill level, age, athleticism, etc.

A great place to check out classes. Friendly and informative staff. All drills are practiced multiple times. Training partners are there to encourage everyone to grow. Multiple time slots for classes on different days. Would recommend.

An excellent gym. I’m here 2-3 times a week for the workout, for proper technique, and an environment that is full of hard workers who respect others and the craft. All of these values are fostered here. I’m growing. I’m meeting really nice people and exchanging numbers. All of my back trouble has gone away now that I am in full-body shape. I’m learning rock solid fundamentals in Muay Thai and having a great time. This is worth every penny and drop of sweat I have put into it. It’s turned my life around. Next up: more noon classes!! :). Love this gym.
