I am so thankful for the Inner Fire crew. My daughter has been coming here for 2 years now and I couldn't be happy with every experience we've had. Mr. Gary has the best team and they all treat you like family the moment you walk in the door. The instructors are so great, you really see the passion and patience they have teaching kids martial arts. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to boost their kids confidence or just wanting to try martial arts in general!

One of the best Martial Arts School in Pearland ! My kid has been learning Martial Arts since past two years and she loves it ! The teachers are very passionate about teaching the art at the same time they are very patient and supportive. Like a family they are always motivating the students to be physically and mentally fit and encouraging them to learn good moral values. We love going to Inner Fire Martial Arts and I highly reccommend it.

My son has been doing karate at Inner Fire since they opened. He loves the atmosphere and how everyone cares. All the instructors have been great and have taught my son a lot , not only martial arts but about when and why you should use it.

If I had to make a dojo recommendation to a friend in Houston I would choose Sensei Ray Owles. He is one of the most experienced and highly knowledgeable teachers of original Okinawan Karate in the Pearland-Friendswood area. Each student gets personal one on one instruction. His focus is on the individual over the masses, there are no paper tigers there.

Instructors like this are hard to find. High ranking in an organization that means something. Great with kids and adults. Our whole family is training with him. This is old school karate, where you don't just do, you learn why. It's not just punch kick, it includes throws. Okinawan karate is the original MMA.

We are so happy to find this school for our daughter. She is excited to go to class and even when she’s home, she asks if she can go to sensei Ray.
