My 6 year old Daughter and my 11 year old son have been coming here for a few months now and both of them love it! The coaches are very patient with all the kids but also stern which I love. They help the kids become more confident as well as disciplined. The facilities are top notch and well maintained and the staff is amazing. Everyone is very welcoming and make the environment feel comfortable.

As a former collegiate wrestler I was very picky about where I wanted my son (4) to study. After reading the reviews of others and the profiles on the instructor’s I had a great feeling about this location. Since day 1 my experience here has greatly surpassed any expectations. Not only are the instructors talented, focused, and motivated, they are excellent at teaching the art of Brazilian jujitsu. My son loves coming to learn and the environment here is more than just about grappling. They focus on child development, discipline, and respect. I know that my son has found his gym and I couldn’t be more excited to watch him grow and develop under such fantastic leadership.

My daughter recently started training in Jiu-Jitsu back in July, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the impact it has had on her. From the very first class, I noticed a shift in her confidence and enthusiasm. The environment is incredibly welcoming, with skilled and supportive instructors who are dedicated to helping every student grow. One of the biggest benefits has been watching her develop not only physically but mentally. Jiu-Jitsu challenges her to think strategically, work on her coordination, and develop resilience. She has become more focused and disciplined, both on and off the mat. The camaraderie among the students is another highlight. The friendships she’s made have been an added bonus, and it’s wonderful to see her so engaged and supported by her peers. I’m also very reassured knowing that the self-defense skills she’s learning are practical and empowering. She’s gaining more than just fitness—she’s learning techniques that can be used in real-life situations, and that peace of mind is invaluable. As a parent, I couldn’t recommend Jiu-Jitsu enough. It has been such a positive influence in my daughter’s life, helping her build confidence, discipline, and a strong sense of community.

Amazing school. Great staff that really care. The skills and knowledge that is taught is top notch. Excellent for any parents (adult classes aslo) who would like to learn martial arts and become part of the family! Helped completely with our son ( behavior wise, confidence, and teamwork).

They told black belt program is 3000 overall. Infact that is charge is for an year. Front desk is nice when enrolling. If any reason kid has to withdraw from the program, one has to pay 3 months due. They over charged 4 months. I did not get refund after several attempts of contacting. Hell with dealing this owner Beware of this location. Do not even try to join this location.

This is a Great location!! They have a great program!! The owners have done an amazing job at keeping the facility clean and energy high. They treat everyone like family. The instructors are supportive, kind, and patient with each individual student all while pushing them to achieve their goals and gain the skills that are needed for the next level. The kids are excited and full of energy every class. I highly recommend this studio! You will pleased with your child's growth in skills and confidence.

We have signed up for a 6 month program with this school. First few months went good and my son was also enjoying the whole process. Issue started on timing as it conflicts with school time. We have requested and tried multiple other classes as per their direction. We started to receive feedback that my son not fit for other classes. We are left with no choice other than kicking ourselves out. Feedback is also not consistent as one day we hear my son did great in other class and other day we hear he is not fit for it. I got in communication with owner on a great difficulty and I was promised that I will hear back to make the experience great for rest of the time. I haven’t received any communication until now I would suggest to talk to them in terms of expectation and also don’t sign up on this offers until you are 100% sure .You may not get back your money and you will be kicking yourself out.

Had a very bad experience. Won’t be recommending to any of my friends and families. Unprofessional, my kids used to go Plano center but decided to enroll here as commute distance was less. They don’t teach students according to skill level and 15/2 ratio. I think student were doing whatever they want as student to teacher ratio is …….., I have read bad review from parents before but decided to give them try. This made a very bad decision

Excellent new facility to go with the even more excellent community and instructors! Now offering vinyasa style yoga classes as well to the public! I highly recommend LP Martial Arts!

I wanted to post this review as a testimonial of my time working with Steve Paek one on one. About 2.5 years ago, I was recovering from knee replacement surgery and quadruple bypass surgery a few years before. My quality of life was miserable due to my sedentary lifestyle. I was overweight and had no energy. Through a mutual acquaintance, i was introduced to Steve and Chelsah’s studio. Being self-conscious, I started private lessons with Steve. I was impressed with his attention to detail on technique. I had no illusion that I would be a boxer but he focused on every little detail and overtime saw improvements in my boxing abilities. Over the course of 8 months, I lost 30lbs and felt fantastic. I have tried other types of boxing workout gyms but LP stands out to their focus on helping grow and learn vs burning calories through poorly executed repetition. I can’t highly recommend them enough. Great gym and great atmosphere that makes everyone feel welcome.

I give this gym 5 🌟 due to how hospitable they are. When I walked in the owner stopped what she was doing on the mat and came greeted and introduced herself. This gym is very welcoming and I highly recommend if you're in the area.

Hygienic facility and great atmosphere. Elite level coaches, but they're also friendly. Coaches serve a wide range of clientele from children, to beginning adults, to MMA fighters, and BJJ competitors; and the coaches will guide you to the path toward your goals. The training partners here are also the best that I've experienced, love this place!

Truly is an AMAZING experience stepping through these doors every time. Immediately you can feel the positive energy and welcoming atmosphere that sets this place apart from others. The instructors are not just very knowledgeable in their craft, but also make it very accessible and digestable for anyone new to martial arts regardless of your background. The facilities are always clean and there is a great blend of classes always available. More than anything, the community fostered at LP Martial arts is what I think sets this place apart from others.
