I have been attending iron dragon for little over a year now and it is just like a family great atmosphere for both adults and children. I do all the martial arts that are provided in this school and I can say hands down it's the best decision I've made. Master white genuinely loves martial arts and loves seeing his students prosper. I for one am proud to be a part of the iron dragon and ed ramos team.

I've now been training here at Iron Dragon for a total of 3 years. I came from a different style of martial arts background and was welcome with open arms. It's a very team and goal oriented school, with access to various types of martial arts and the knowledgeable instructors who are constantly focused on the improvement and well-being of the students. This place, and the people within, have literally changed my life both mentally and physically. This has become my home and I constantly feel the need to better myself through this school. No matter what you're looking for, Iron Dragon definitely has something to offer everyone, so come out and earn your stripes.

What a hidden gem! Paradigm offers competitive membership prices with a wide array of different styles. I highly recommend the 6am class with boxing coach Michael Rodriguez. Mike's style of training requires no prior combat spirt experience. The man has the ability to teach ANYONE how to box. There are multiple coaches in paradigm that I've worked with and all phenomenal in their area of expertise. Highly recommended

85 BJJ is not just an academy it is a family! My son wanted to follow Professor Jose when he opened 85 BJJ, so we drive 30 minutes so he can have the best BJJ experience. He has been with Professor Jose for over 3 years and has LOVED every class, even the hard classes. As a parent I love how everyone here is like family. We all support each other and each other's kids in class and at competitions! Coach Bo and Coach Lee are the best and Professor Jose is top notch. My son has gained confidence and had learned to come out of his shy shell because of jiu-jitsu. We absolutely love 85 BJJ, we love it so much we are here 5-6 days a week.

I absolutely love it here. My son has been participating at this location for about 6 months now and is thriving in BJJ, I’ve also seen a big difference in his behavior as well. The instructors are so patient and gives clear instructions. I like how they take their time to ensure that everyone understands each drill. They focus more on the skill set needed for BJJ than winning competitions. Highly recommend!

I’ve been training Muay Thai with Alexis Chavarria at Gracie Barra Westchase, and it has been an incredible experience. Alexis is a phenomenal instructor who truly cares about his students’ progress. He’s highly detailed when it comes to technique and timing, breaking down each move so that even the smallest details are perfected. His dedication to the art of Muay Thai is clear in every session, and he consistently pushes us to become better fighters. The staff is so helpful, and the environment is so welcoming. Alexis is an excellent, intelligent coach. The way he structures his classes helps you understand and advance in your techniques. He is very persistent, and he is always pushing you to your limits. I hope to stay training with Gracie family for many years ,and I'm grateful you guys helped me develop appreciation and love for martial arts. I truly recommend Alexis as your muay thai coach!!!!!

I have always been a fan of striking and when I found out they had a Muay Thai program, I quickly came in to check it out, and I was very impressed with the drive and dedication that their instructors have! Coach Alexis Chavarria "Lobo Feroz" is nothing less than a beast and has tons of experience and I recommend anyone who is looking to learn or improve their Muay Thai skills to come in and try a class out for yourself. From there, I'm sure you'll join up after that. I frequently see new members who have joined the program, and it's a great feeling to have the comfortable family bond. I will say that when you do come, be ready to work hard and sweat, which is what your experience is supposed to be like for the best results! See you there! Hai A.

Our 5 year old daughter has been going here for almost a year now. From the start with the free classes they let her join in, we could see how great they are with kids! Professor Kurt brings such great energy to the classes. He is tough but nice and the kids love to work hard for high fives and pokemon card rewards 😂 I love how they combine hard work with exercise/running and a little dodgeball once in a while to get some energy out. You really get to know other parents and kids and feel like part of the family here.

GB Champions is not just a gym to learn BJJ/kickboxing, it is a community. My kids have been going years. The kids’ classes are the perfect balance of energy-burning, silly fun, and disciplined learning. My kids are also learning self-discipline, accountability to their teammates, respect, and the value of being humble. I participate in the women’s BJJ classes, which is a great program as well; this is a gym where women can learn BJJ and feel comfortable, welcome, and respected.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, often simply called Jiu-Jitsu or BJJ, is a fantastic martial art that has garnered immense popularity for good reason. As a passionate member of the BJJ community, I can attest to its numerous health benefits and the sense of security it instills. BJJ is a martial art that emphasizes ground fighting and submission holds, focusing on leverage and technique rather than brute strength. Through regular training, practitioners not only improve their physical fitness, agility, and flexibility but also enhance mental discipline and self-confidence. It's a full-body workout that promotes cardiovascular health and muscular endurance, making it an excellent way to stay in shape. Beyond the physical advantages, learning martial arts like BJJ offers a profound sense of security. It equips individuals with practical self-defense skills, teaching them how to defend themselves in real-life situations. The confidence gained from mastering self-defense techniques is empowering and contributes significantly to personal safety. Moreover, the BJJ community is incredibly supportive and welcoming. Training in this martial art fosters camaraderie, discipline, and respect among practitioners. I wholeheartedly encourage anyone seeking a holistic approach to fitness, self-assurance, and community to join us on the mats. Experience the transformative journey of BJJ – it's not just a sport; it's a way of life. Join us, and together, let's strengthen both our bodies and our bonds within this amazing community!

Great place to train! I started training at Team Osiris a few months ago as a blue belt after moving to Houston and there are a lot of things I like. Right away when I came Prof. Robert asked me about what my goals were and has been working with me on that. I've been impressed with Prof. Robert and Coach Stephanie's mat-side coaching! In class and even at competitions the instructions are clear, easy to hear and understand. I Really like that they prioritize doing targeted positional rounds based on what we drilled that class. The teammates are wonderful and push you to improve and do better and a lot of the team make it out to support at competitions even if they aren't competing. It's a good environment for competitors and non-competitors alike. We work hard, but still always have a fun time and it's a welcoming atmosphere. And a great environment for women! I've trained in a variety of striking and grappling arts over the past 6 years and it's rare to see so many fellow women in Jiu Jitsu AND Muay Thai in one place and it's fantastic. Definitely a great place to check out for the ladies looking to get into martial arts

I had the pleasure of training at Elite MMA while visiting Houston. The instruction was well thought out and we had time to practice the techniques. Rolling was safe and fun. All the coaches and the students I interacted with were very kind. I came away with a couple of new skills. I also felt a bit dizzy after class and they made sure I recovered giving me some electrolytes and even taking my blood pressure. Overall an excellent experience.

This place is just amazing! I have been here for a little over a month and am addicted to both the Jiu-Jitsu and Kickboxing training. I have taken martial arts classes before, but a long time ago, but the amount of care they take in properly training you before you just go out and start tumbling around is impressive. All of the other members in the classes are outstanding as well, and you truly feel in an instant that you are a part of something awesome. No one is too good to help or answer any questions you may have. I can already tell that I will be coming here for a long time and look forward to getting my son into the classes as soon as he is old enough to do it. Come by and check us out.

My 6 yr old son has been doing jiu jitsu with Elite MMA for over half of his life. He loves the coaches and loves going to train. For me and my husband, the most important things are what he learns beyond the physical. The discipline, respect, maturity, confidence, self-control, and perseverance are what matters to us. He has carried all the things he has learned over to what he does outside of BJJ: school, sports, and friendship. Having BJJ before he started organized sports was the best thing we could have done. When he started with swimming, basketball, baseball, and his favorite soccer, he knew exactly how to take direction, hustle, listen, focus, and learn. We are constantly getting compliments from his coaches that he is very respectful and coachable. He also helps his teammates when they don't understand. He learned that at Elite MMA. Anytime someone asks for a recommendation for an after-school activity, 100% of the time I recommend Elite MMA. They have more than this location, and we go to both (depending on our schedules).

The best of Houston. Very nice people and the professors are great. Everybody is open to share with you their knowledge. The place is super clean. They are the best. Prices are around $200 and that Includes Brazilian Jujitsu, kickboxing etc. They also have a class for kids. They do test every ~6 months and they charge extra 45 dollars (for the case of adults).

Our three children have thoroughly enjoyed training under Master Ricky and his team. Our oldest started 7 years ago and after getting her 2nd degree black belt took a break to focus on music. She missed it so much, she begged us to let her return to practice under Master Ricky this year. Same for our middle and youngest. His unwavering commitment to developing his students is clearly evident.

Awesome Teacher and great classes!!! Love it. My husband and I joined Master Rick’s Talium about a month ago and we absolutely love it. In this short period I have seen positive changes in my overall health and I am really grateful. Now it has become a part of our routine. Master Rick’s classes are so much fun. He motivates every student to become better and stronger in every class. Sometimes, instructors from other Talium schools come to the Houston Talium to teach and demonstrate – the demonstrations are surely remarkable and inspirational. The adults class is at 7 PM every day. When we arrive at the class, sometimes if the previous class is still going on, you get to see kids (all ages) learning Taekwondo – being energetic and focused and having fun. Master Rick is really good with kids. His classes are not just about kicking and punching, but education of the mind as well. He also teaches the kids to be more disciplined and respectful to everybody. I am sure all the parents of those kids are really glad to have found a teacher like Master Rick. I would highly recommend anybody (no age bar) who wants to learn Taekwondo to join Master Rick’s Talium. It is never too late to become a student of Taekwondo.

We've started both kids at Master Rick's Talium Taekwondo. We've been parents and students since 2016-2017. Our oldest started when she was 4 years old and got her black belt. Our oldest started when he was 5. Master Rick has a great way of working with kids and creating an inclusive environment where every child, regardless of their athletic abilities, can develop their full potential. It also a great place where discipline, self control, self reliance, and confidence are instilled. As an older adult, I was inspired to start training in the adult classes held on evenings and Saturdays. After several years and some interruptions (Harvey, COVID etc.), I earned my black belt last year. The school has had some personnel changes over the years but the one constant is Master Rick. Master Rick's positive demeanor, patience and breadth of Taekwondo knowledge are matched only by his expectation that each student work to the best of their ability to fulfill their martial arts journey.

My daughter has been with Master Rick for 1 month, and she's now a big fan of both Taekwondo and Master Rick. She is a gifted and straight A student at school but very strong-minded kid, always has her excuse and her own way of doing anything and has brought a lot of headache to me on how to discipline her. At the first trial class she even refused to enter the classroom, but only looked from outside. Amazingly Master Rick has the experience to deal with this kind of kids, and the class was full of fun and challenge that she did try next class. From then on I can see her confidence and spirit of "try best" grow each class, by Master Rick's encouragement, compassion, enthusiastic instruction, care and humor. I feel so blessed to find a Master like him, and believe that the school will be a even greater success in short time. If you have a kid like mine, go for Master Rick, you will be amazed like me.
