Egley Train Boise Jiu Jitsu has been an incredible experience for my 9-year-old. The instructors not only teach the technical aspects of Jiu Jitsu but also emphasize discipline, focus, and other important tenets of martial arts. The supportive environment and patient guidance from the coaches have helped my child grow both physically and mentally. I’ve been consistently impressed by their professionalism and dedication to each student’s development. I love this place!! My first time there was amazing, this gym is the real deal with real deal World Champions training you every step of the way! I truly learned so much and it was only my first day! Hands down the best Jiu Jitsu gym you could join, beginners are more than welcome!

Staff is friendly. But beware if you’re trying to cancel. I notified someone I wished to cancel, only for them to say okay and then was told I would be followed up with. Was not followed up with, called a week later, found out I needed to submit a cancellation request. Submitted it, only for money to be taken out the next month. Now I’ve had 400$+ taken for classes I’m not attending because I hadn’t expected to be charged again. UPDATE: I had spoken with three others individually to have no luck previously. My fiance contacted them and was able to get a hold of someone. They were very friendly and understanding of the situation, they issued me a refund and cancelled the subscription. Still a very good facility with kind people working there. Just a confusing situation

My daughter began the 4-7 yr old class at Egley. Coach Emily and Coach Anthony are amazing coaches. They are very patient and break things down so she is able to participate and train. If you are thinking of getting your child into jiu-jitsu, I highly recommend Egley Boise! Full of awesome coaches and staff. Very clean, friendly, and welcoming.

Signing up at Egley has been one of the best decisions. They helped me change my life from an extremely sedentary lifestyle to actually looking forward to being more active. What helped me understand a simple way to implement healthy habits in fitness and nutrition providing paper packets of meals, an easy app to follow and communication to keep me accountable. Group fitness training was fun and engaging. When you really want a lifestyle change, going to Egley is a great place to start because it is design in a way that is attainable.

At the end of 2021 we made the decision to enroll our son with the hopes that he would overcome a lot of his own insecurities, and fears. I knew it would take a lot of work from us as parents to keep encouraging our very shy and timid son to keep on going, and really trying to learn the art. The path was rough at the beginning, my son would shut down and refuse to learn, even after all the support and encouragement we gave him. This is when I found out that this team really care for the kids, the teacher and coaches would sit down with my son while he was completely shut down and on the floor, motivating him, encouraging him, giving him the extra life lessons that I couldn’t. Effectively helping me raise my son more properly, the team help my son get out of his shell a bit more and gain the confidence he needed to conquer some of his fears. The process was never easy, thanks to Professor Felipe, Professor Corey, Coach Mike, Coach Eric, and the entire team that helped me raise my son, we’ve seen him become a more confident, funny, and great kid. Still shy but confident my son is now also doing the Muai Thai training, with BJJ as well. We express our gratitude to them and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone, and we’ve been recommending to struggling parents. I hope this reach the right people and give this team a chance, do not give up as is not easy instead endure the process and this team will be there for you every step of the way. Thank you!

Excellent Brazilian Jujitsu academy from the owners to the professors and coaches. The GBSB family provide a friendly and welcoming academy. We couldn’t have chosen a better team to begin her love for the art of jiujitsu. 10/10

Amazing coaches and professors in both jiu jitsu and muy thai. I love this place and whenever I'm away I miss them. It's about the people and the way they make the challenges both safe and fun.

This place is amazing for kids. The BJJ coaches are great and make sure to keep enough discipline that they are learning but also makes it really fun. It’s such a growing experience for them socially and with the confidence to defend themselves. This program will help to toughen kids up but also makes sure they learn control. The coaches are totally on top of things the entire time, give each kid individual attention, and create an amazing environment for them for learn and grow. They Muay Thai is also great and he’s amazing with children. 100% recommend and we will be members here for life. We drive in, it’s totally worth the drive.

If you want the real deal this is the place to be! The instructors are highly skilled, patient, and create a positive learning environment. My daughter went through this program 10 years ago. My son just received his red belt and is looking forward to helping kids like himself learn as well. The instructors, both past and present, make a lasting impression on these kids. They put their heart in what they love and help continue the legacy of what ATA and Tae Kwon Do is about.

I've been coming here since early 2024 and really enjoy the community and camaraderie. It's a supportive and fun group of people. Great for kids and adults!

This martial arts school is amazing! Instructors are well trained in their craft and have an amazing way to relay those skills to the students. My student has attended for 2+ years, and loves the school! We as parents have seen great growth, control, and personal responsibility in not only her martial arts and self defense, but in her everyday life.The school owner and instructors make you feel like family day one!

This studio and the instructors have changed my son’s life! He started in the children’s group last year and is now a brown belt in the teen class and in the Legacy program. Great school. Owner is very nice helps out any of the kids. You become part of the family once your kid starts. Everyone is kind and loving to each other. Love love love this place
