The instructors are not only highly skilled but also incredibly patient and nurturing. They create a positive and encouraging environment for all the kids, which has boosted my son's self-confidence and discipline. The classes are well-structured, focusing on both the physical aspects of Jiu-Jitsu and the mental aspects of self-control and respect. My son has not only improved his physical fitness but has also learned valuable life skills that extend beyond the mat. The facility itself is clean and well-maintained, and the staff is always approachable and willing to address any concerns or questions. Overall, our experience with my son's Jiu-Jitsu class has been outstanding, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to any parents looking for a great martial arts program for their children.

Best Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) school around! I've been to many different self defense and MMA schools and this one is the best for many reasons - Instructors are amazing, facility is new and clean, students are friendly and helpful and location is ideal! Before you sign your child up for karate or Taekwando, be sure to visit Ascension first because they will get real life self defense, structure and encouragement and life building instructions at Ascension MMA.

I gave 5 stars because 10 stars wasn’t available! This studio is awesome and their staff is even better. Freddy and his team are true knowledgeable professionals who show great care of the students. Kids program is awesome! My 8yrs old son has been training there for more than two years. Freddy Assuncao and staff do an absolutely fantastic job with the kids. We go to competitions often and my son has placed in each event.

If you want a great workout in a family friendly environment, while learning how to defend yourself this is the place!! I burned 1,500 calories in just one training session. Coaches and staff are amazing and Freddy is a world class instructor. All of the instructors are amazing and friendly. It is a fun, judgement free, serious training facility. I love it here!!!

Our son has been training here for almost 2 years. Best decision we have ever made for him. This is a place where champions are made. Grand Master Murgel has given our son a path to be a man of character. We take him to other places for open mats and he still prefers the GM's academy. There are several academies in this area... but none as knowledgeable as this one.

All I can say is Wow! My niece and nephew attend this Jiu Jitsu school. I visited last year and attended their practice thinking what attention Master Murgel gave them. Tonight with the class over 3x's the size it was awesome to see the same if not more amazing training! I see know why he is a 9th degree blackbelt and expert in his field! Great fighter, Great Trainer and creating a path for 2 of my favorite human beings.

This is the place for solid instruction in a welcoming but competitive atmosphere. Our 9yo daughter has been going for 6 months and we are notice she has more strength, increased physical dexterity, and improved confidence. The instruction from GM Murgel is top notch. It's no surprise the kids who compete do well in tournaments. My daughter recently entered two tournaments and found her way to the podium three times, with one 1st place! Would highly recommend!

I wish there was an option for more stars. This is not a place for whining, crying, complaining, or acting out. This is a place where champions are created. This team is built around being safe and respectful... I can't stress the word respect enough. I don't know how much longer Grand Master Murgel will want to continue to train people... but we'll be here until he decides to stop. We moved further away and we're still making the trip 3 days a week because you're not going to find a school like this anywhere else.

I came in as a visitor to Union BJJ and felt extremely welcomed by Master Murgel and his staff. The training was excellent! Visiting a school can sometimes make you feel very out of place but I didn't feel that here. If Master Murgel saw something I could improve on he gently and quietly corrected and instructed. I also watched the kids program and was very impressed by the quality of instruction they were receiving. I would not hesitate to recommend this school to anybody living in and around the area.

Great core BJJ instruction for kids. Extremely knowledgable instructors who are really patient teaching kids the technical moves of BJJ. Very clean, extremely friendly and a relaxed learning environment where kids can safely learn.My 3 kids love it here.

It's been over a year since our family began training at Tiger Academy and it has been a wonderful experience! The instructors are patient and helpful, and both kids and adult classes have been amazing for us. Can't say enough good things about the Camden family and the way they run their business. I'm so glad we found such a great resource to start our Jiu Jitsu journey!

The kids classes are disciplined and fun and the adult programs are organized and cogent. Using techniques proven in the real world, by the famous Gracie family and others, Sifu Eddie Camden has created a program taught in a clean and positive environment.

I started trading at 43 with no martial arts experience. This school is perfect for all! Plenty of extremely talented martial artists at high levels and other regular guys like me. It is a very welcoming environment but as challenging as you want. When I leave, I can’t wait until the next class. I am in the best shape of my life after training for 2.5 years. If you have always wanted to try BJJ, but aren’t sure where, Eddie Camden at Tiger Academy is your place! Stop waiting until next year when you have more time. Now!

I have been training martial arts for over 40 years. There is no question that Tiger Academy is the best school I've ever been to. Sifu Eddie Camden is a prodigy and, most importantly, the best teacher and communicator or the arts I have observed. This is also a Family centric atmosphere with great facilities and it's a superior value.
