This club is awful and not at all worth $300 a month. I was told when I joined that it was “never crowded” but that was a lie — this is one of the MOST crowded gyms I’ve ever been to, much more than a regular bodybuilding gym. More importantly, there’s a bunch of facility issues they constantly attempt to cover up. There was water damage in the first floor ceiling that tore a hole through it. I constantly receive emails about water outages throughout the club (shower and drinking water). We were kicked out once because the lights were flickering like crazy which I’m pretty sure is a electricity hazard. The basement fully SET ON FIRE once because of a dryer overheating and we had to be evacuated. I tried to attach photos but Google deleted my review unless I removed them. I’ve heard from trainers that they are instructed by management to go up to random people and try to sell them sessions constantly. Why am I paying $300 to be bothered by trainers non-stop? They are also treated extremely poorly and pretty much exploited (only paid $20-30 a session for the first few months, even though Equinox charges ~$150) so good luck finding a trainer to work with who won’t quit after 2-3 months. I met a trainer once who quit after two days. The “luxury customer service” they try to sell you is a complete lie. The sales people will tell you anything to try to get you to sign up, but once you’re in, you’re on your own. And it doesn’t feel like a luxury gym by any means, aside from the fact that the gym itself is pretty and the machines are nice. Everytime I’ve filed feedback for something in the past, it’s brushed over with the most flippant or ridiculous response — but no action. The staff and front desk are amazing for the most part; I’ve met some people here who are great, but other than that my experience has been horrendous. I’m trying to speak to them currently on the basis of all aforementioned issues and am just being ghosted or given the runaround. This customer service isn’t even worth a dollar a month, much less $300. You’d get better customer service at a PF.

This location is very well spaced out over multiple floors and ranks as one of the better Equinoxes in Downtown Manhattan. The treadmills are on another level with charging stations and high quality screens for entertainment that immensely upgrade your workout. The main exercise studio is spacious and well supplied with different weights. It’s a bit crowded on Saturdays but nowhere near as atrocious as SoHo on any given day. The women’s locker room is immaculate and the only downside is the low water pressure of the showers. All in all this is one of my favorite Equinox locations!

This new Equinox location in NoMad is beautiful, 3 floors of equipment with spacious stretching areas. Very well maintained and extremely clean. The lobby is very nice decorated with plenty of comfortable seats. Gentle staff and very helpful.

Good amount of space across 4 floors, and solid diversity in equipment. Better than your average Equinox, but not quite a flagship location. No pool and it’s a bit odd that the lounge area has no separation from the rest of the gym. I’d recommend this location over the nearby Flatiron and Gramercy Equinoxes

I wanted to write about the tour / sales rep experience along with my actual experience at the gym. I was assigned to meet with Scott but he was apparently out so I got Marcos. It was easy to book online through the website and it was nice to take advantage of the holiday sale where they waive the initiation fee. Upon entering the lobby, I loved how nice the lobby is, great place to relax , take a phone call and recuperate with their nice lounge chairs with plenty of tables. Concierge was so nice. Marcos seemed nervous when he greeted me, and kinda is gave me vibes that he was judging me upon first appearance, which is human nature but its safe to say that i did not fit their typical customer mold of being a hot athlete or rich finance bro/chick. Nonetheless I made it a point that i am postpartum and have a modest goal of working out 3 times a week with some cardio and group classes in mind. The facility itself was beautiful with a comprehensive map showing what equipment and studios are on each floor. The equipment easily is worth 25k, it was nicely organized, and each floor was being cleaned 24.7. There is plenty of space to lift weights, a stretch area, and plenty of cardio machines that are state of the art and not on top of each other. The studios are amazing, it is so nice to have all the equipment and mats you need already with their easy to use equinox plus app to book classes 26 hours in advance. Loved that they do spin classes too. There is also good reformer Pilates studio for those who want 1 on 1 private classes. The spa looks really relaxing and very cozy, i would totally take a nap in there. The scented towels and water stations are also a big plus. What annoyed me with sales is they don't go over billing questions like how to do i freeze or cancel , what are the plus and minuses of doing a membership at on location versus passport which can get you into cool places like Hudson yards. i also got no explanation about how to contact billing, but reviews show concierge as the domain to contact so when I brought it up he agreed that was the route to go. It also is not clear why some places cost more than others along with what day passes or guest passes you can use. He also didn’t volunteer that you can upgrade or downgrade/freeze membership anytime. There was a big push to book their fancy personal training packages and go with the free fitness test which probably leads to big lectures about why you need to book a trainer. Seemed like Niko was a popular trainer he used himself. You can easily expect to spend an extra 2k on these types of trainers on top of the hefty 285 you pay a month. Even when you workout in the gym you will see trainers look at you like a hawk hoping to connect with you as a potential client. Really awkward. I guess they all make commission off of these things. Either way expect an amazing workout in the classes, so much to choose from between barre, cycling, running, rowing, strength training, yoga, heated yoga, Pilates, ab workouts, the list goes on and on. I have thoroughly enjoyed each class and yes instructors are hardcore from like Penn State, but they really give it their all. When that is all done, you can enjoy their amazing steam room with clean showers, and amazing grown alchemist skin care products. i also appreciate their high end hair tools, hair ties, shaving razors and hair ties- its also nice that they have good lotions after you shower and plenty of stations to sit and change or do your makeup. I do wish this place had a pool/jacuzzi or dry sauna. lockers are also kind of small, but no lock is needed. You can take advantage of their coat check near the locker rooms. Overall, it is safe to say that this gym is worth the money and has the luxury perks but it is probably not the top equinox location- it has the potential though!

I’ve heard good things about this location before and I can now confirm — this is a really nice Equinox club with tasteful decoration and cool little details. I particularly like the large windows on the 2nd floor, the ones at the corner of Orchard Street and Houston Street. Good spot to people watch while stretching or doing your core exercises. Locker room is spacious and clean. Hoping to take a class here at some point to check out the studio space, and to see if the instructors are good, but already an awesome location to add to my rotation.

Very bad experience, not really sure what is supposed to be the appeal of this company. They rely on lies to get you to sign up for a membership, then make it nearly impossible to cancel. When I signed up I was told I would get a free month because of the referral I signed up with, that was a lie. I was told that I would have multi gym access because the locker room was under construction, that was a lie. The equipment is worse than the $10/mo planet fitness I used to go to in michigan and it is inconveniently crowded most of the time. Also, men frequently cruise in the steam room--really gross and unsanitary. They are refusing to cancel my membership now, it's really weird and this place in general seems like a scam. Sometimes things that are more expensive are worse, eh? I recommend staying away from this company and gym and going literally anywhere else.

I’m not sure whose idea it was to close down the Women’s locker room at The Orchard Location for 10 weeks and not tell anyone until a day before. This is a terrible, TERRIBLE inconvenience Equinox has provided and really sucks - and having all access to some clubs isn’t the way to handle the situation. Shame on you Equinox.

Wow, perfect gym to meet all of your fitness and mental goals.

Another member (middle age middle eastern woman) here constantly harasses me, accuses me of stealing her belongings and makes indecent comments about my clothing, and is always staring when I’m just trying to work out. Mind you, I dress like every other woman there. This has been happening since March, and I’ve reported her to management (specifically Anthony and Robert) several times yet there has been no progress on the situation… given I pay so much, the disregard is absolutely insane to me.

The layout is dysfunctional. You're gonna have to be going up and down the floors almost constantly during your session. There also aren't enough ropes for the pulldowns. The lockers are the best I've ever seen. They have little compartments so you can organize your belongings neatly. The steam room is decently sized and comfortable. The hair dryers are missing the flat end attachments. And weirdly, the knob for my shower control was installed backwards. Water pressure is good though. Aesthetically the place looks very nice and charming. In terms of functionality, it's not so great.

This place is a fantastic gym! 🏋️‍♂️ Equinox in Flatiron 🗽 is an incredible sports center with threads 🏃‍♂️, weights, and circling machines! 🚲 They also have a steam room 💨 and great shower! 🚿 Staff 👨‍🍳 is super friendly and professional! Queen the location manager is super helpful and Brendon Green is a great instructor! I wish I came here more often!

A solid 4 stars for this location. Great facilities that are clean and well maintained. Large locker room with showers, steam and fresh towels. All the requisite Kiehls products included. The front desk staff is nice. There's a juice press here that serves juices, coffee and lite snacks. This facility is 4 levels of fun with yoga and boxing studios. Conveniently located in the popular flatiron district. Check this place out!

Came down to visit some friends for a weekend and was worried about missing a workout, but Julie came to the rescue and was immensely helpful in getting me into the club!! Everything was super clean and they had all the equipment I could’ve asked for, and I was able to grab a quick bite and energy drink at the juice bar on my way in. Thank you Julie, I hope to be back again soon!!

I got injured at Michaela McGowan’s spinning class due to her negligence on how to use the bike properly. She gave zero instructions on the equipment prior to the class and rushed me out of the room after my injury. The gym manager Jill has been helpful but the instructor Michaela has taken absolutely zero responsibility in addressing the issue, not even an apology - definitely not the experience anyone would have wanted.

Used this gym since moving to the area in 2022. Trainers and staff are wonderful, very friendly, always happy to chat and make me feel welcome but unfortunately management spoils it. I would visit during off-peak hours specifically to use the weightlifting platform 3 times a week for almost 2 years. Recently the gym removed a row of cardio machines to create more space for gym equipment and also removed the weightlifting platform, when asked if the platform was being replaced or returned management said there "isn't room for the platform" despite the cardio machines being removed to make more space on the gym floor. I train and compete in weightlifting so don't require much equipment but the response from management after the removal of equipment that my two years of membership could replace two+ times over was abysmal. Comically enough when the platform was removed trainers and staff reached out to me as a member to let me know because they cared more about the gym users than management. It's a shame because I loved the community at Equinox and as someone who works from home that is really important but I have had to go elsewhere, fortunately there's a new gym across the street, recently opened, that has four weightlifting platforms. It is disappointing how management treats their members who have been using the gym for two years and the choices management make. This review is in no way representative of the coaches, my time at Gramercy Equinox meant I crossed paths with some phenomenal people and fitness professionals; Brennan, Ricardo, Alessandra, Tuesday, Mikka, Ana, Shahida, Carlos, Jamal, both Omars, Brian, Jenny, and Will.

Damon was an amazing massage therapist. Would 100% recommend him!!! He was really great to talk to and helped address everything I wanted done. I don’t have any insights on the gym itself though the staff was nice but it was super busy around 6p.

the gym is pretty good - not too crowded if you go off peak and they pretty much have everything you could want/need. i used to think it was overpriced but then started taking classes and that makes the monthly membership worth it. lydia dallas got me really into pilates and was just a pleasure to work with and talk to while keeping me completely at ease despite profuse sweating and a pitiful lack of flexibility. ugo and ahmad teach the most kickass boxing classes - love ugo for technique and combinations but ahmad's class will absolutely kick your ass and he'll do it with a smile and the best energy ever. used to kind of just take it on the chin and pay a premium for the gym closest to me with bearable crowds, but i really did end up loving it once taking classes with these three.

This location will screw you by trying to offer you a month of free membership and then roping you into a full year. Incredibly predatory and I will never patronize Equinox again.

Cant say enough good things about Kunal @ Equinox High Line. He goes above and beyond and puts his clients first - and never made me feel like the transaction was more important than the person. He's responsive to emails, always there to help if needed - he single handedly revived my feelings about Equinox as a brand. RE the gym itself: I really like this facility. It's a great, no nonsense gym. If you want the scene, this is not the place for you. All the premium equipment you'd expect from an Equinox, without any of the nonsense. This gym stays more quiet than other ones, which I like. Hardly ever a wait for a bench, or piece of equipment. Everyone seems focused on the workout. Facilities are always clean and premium. Would recommend.

I live in WV but make my way up to the Highline Equinox in Chelsea because it’s never crowded and the staff is so pleasant. The other clubs nearby are all Destination clubs so they cost more too. This is a great hidden gem!

Ridiculously overcrowded, there are 3 squat racks in the entire gym for 200+ people at any time. I consistently find myself waiting 20 plus minutes every workout for either 1 of 3 racks to open or 1 of 2 flat benches. Save yourself the time and walk to greenwhich equinox. I wish I could get my money back for waiting 20 minutes to workout in a basement…..

Whoever is working the desk today, July 12 at 3:49 pm refused to help me look for the Pilates mat that I left at this club a couple days ago. He repeatedly told me I could come look for it myself. He said he was the only one “at the desk” and offered no solution. I asked him if anyone else could look and he said again I can look for it myself. As I pay over $300 per month for this membership to be able to go to several locations, I feel that as a “Consierge” best of the best club, someone should happily take the time to look for something that a client left before I make a trip out there. I don’t always go to that location. He could have offered to call me back and not even done it - but the attitude is clearly lacking any desire to be helpful. I’ve noticed this lazy attitude at other locations too from the staff, not the instructors. Several times I’ve walked into a new club when I’m in that area to be met with an annoyed stare of “why are you looking at me” when the employees are on the clock.

I LIKE EQUINOX GYM, BUT WHAT I APPRECIATE ABOUT THE GYM ARE THE PEOPLE, THE GENTLE MAN THAT GAVE MY NEPHEW AND I THE FACILITY TOUR NAME WAS JASON AND HE MADE US FEEL AT HOME GREAT PERSON, GREAT GUY , I FELT VERY WELCOME AT THE GYM, THE FACILITY ITSELF WAS VERY NICE AND THEY HAVE TOP OF THE LINE EQUIPMENT, MY ONLY OPINION ON THE GYM IS THAT I LOVE LIFE AND THE LITTLE THINGS ABOUT IT THAT PEOPLE SOME TIMES DONT APPRECIATE, SUCH AS THE FITNESS PART OF THE GYM IS IN THE BASEMENT WHERE THERE IS NO NATURAL LIGHT, AND NATURAL LIGHT ALSO CREATES A SOURCE OF SERENITY AND PEACE AS WELL AS AMBIANCE, OTHER THEN THAT AMAZING GYM ,GREAT PEOPLE... STOP IN FOR A TOUR NEXT TIME YOU ARE AROUND

Overpriced, Unprofessional, and Poorly Designed I recently joined this gym, hoping for a solid place to get my fitness routine back on track, but it’s been a huge letdown. Between the outrageous prices, poor design, and an environment that feels more like a photo shoot than a place to work out, I won’t be renewing my membership. First off, the design of the gym is terrible. The layout feels cramped and inefficient, -and its a 4 story gym... go figure! The locker rooms are another nightmare. Instead of being a place to get changed quickly and move on with your day, they’ve become a social media hotspot. People spend hours in the locker rooms, sitting around, taking pictures, and recording videos for Instagram. It’s not just a quick snap here and there—these people are practically living in the locker room, blocking the benches and making it impossible to change or even have some privacy. The staff seems completely oblivious to this issue, which only adds to the frustration. They are too afraid to say anything because of the "extreme progressive movement" or blasted on social media and being cancelled. And let’s not even get started on the pricing. This gym is far too expensive for what it offers. it feels like you're paying for a lot of fluff rather than real value. I could find a much better gym for half the price, where the equipment is more spaced out, the environment is focused on fitness, and I’m not paying for the privilege of having to fight for space or avoid selfie culture in the locker room. Overall, this gym is a total waste of money. Poorly designed, overpriced, and with zero regard for creating a serious workout environment, it’s not worth the hype. If you’re serious about your fitness goals, I suggest you save your money and find somewhere else that actually cares about its members.

“Terrible Experience – Adrea and Equinox Greenwich Ave Are a Complete Scam!” I had a Hydrafacial done with Adrea at Equinox Greenwich Ave, and it was hands-down the WORST facial experience of my life. I informed her multiple times beforehand that I have sensitive skin and needed her to be cautious. Despite this, she applied way too much pressure with the suction wand, leaving me with severe redness, irritation, and even scarring. This is completely unacceptable for a service that is supposed to be gentle and marketed as safe for sensitive skin. During the facial, I expressed my discomfort and brought up that my skin was becoming increasingly red and irritated. Instead of addressing the issue or adjusting her technique, Adrea dismissed my concerns and blamed my skin for being “too sensitive.” This kind of unprofessionalism is appalling, especially from someone representing Equinox, which prides itself on luxury services. I have had countless Hydrafacials before at other places and NEVER experienced a reaction like this. It is clear that Adrea lacks the skill and care to perform this treatment properly. Equinox, as a whole, is an outrageously overpriced scam. They charge obscene amounts for services and yet clearly don’t care about their customers. The level of disregard for my experience—both during the session and in its aftermath—is shocking. For what they charge, I expected far better treatment and professionalism. Instead, I was met with recklessness, dismissiveness, and damage to my skin. I am demanding a full refund for this disaster of a facial. Equinox needs to reevaluate both its staff and its approach to customer service because this is unacceptable. I strongly urge anyone considering their spa services to stay far away. Equinox is all flash and no substance—you’re paying for their ego, not actual quality or care.

Experiencing Equinox for the first time on a guest pass was a memorable occasion. While I was inclined to award a perfect rating, I withheld one star due to the noticeable wear and tear on some of the equipment. However, this minor flaw was overshadowed by the overall excellence of my visit. The front desk staff exuded warmth and hospitality, creating an inviting atmosphere from the moment I arrived. Navigating the gym was seamless, even during peak hours, as there was ample equipment available, ensuring the space never felt overcrowded. I eagerly anticipate beginning my membership and making Equinox a regular part of my routine.

Equinox Greenwich Avenue is widely recognized as NYC’s top gay gym, offering an atmosphere that’s unmatched in inclusivity and LGBTQ+ pride. This isn’t just a gym; it’s a space where LGBTQ+ members can workout freely, relax in the immaculate locker rooms and steam room, and feel completely at ease among like-minded individuals. The vibe here is distinct and vibrant, a true community setting where members find both fitness and camaraderie. Straight men, if you’re truly open-minded and comfortable in an environment where hot gay guys might flirt just as naturally as anyone would at any other gym, you’ll fit right in. Otherwise, there are plenty of other gyms in NYC! For those who value an inclusive, respectful, and fun vibe, this place is a true gem. 🏳️‍🌈💪

Joined this location this past summer and have had a great experience thus far. The locker rooms are kept in great condition (Joanne is the best!), they have all the equipment you would ever need and the classes are plentiful. While it can be busy occasionally, it never feels too crowded thanks to the multiple floors and different workout areas. Would definitely recommend!

I personally love this location (I would say my favorite one) Royce is a gem! From the moment I signed up, he was incredible to work with. I have met a ton of cool people at this location. It’s located in the heart of West Village. Amazing views from the top floor. I cannot wait for when the pool is open this summer 🙌🏼

Insanely overcrowded now as they try to recover the losses during Covid. Looks and feels like a budget gym, but for $300/month. Elevators break every week and they don’t even notify members anymore

I used to work there as a Personal Trainer. It's a beautiful gym and the staff is great. There's a "service oriented" philosophy as it should be for the price. Moist towels scent with eucalyptus and PT doubled as floor monitors during down time until your client list was full. That means the members and staff actually got to know each other very. There's complementary toiletries in the locker rooms and showers for members.

I visited this club and took a tour with my friend who was gifted a membership by her boss. I got a massage and the Therapist was above and beyond awesome! I actually asked her if she does in-home private services outside of Equinox because she was just THAT good. She gets 5-stars but regarding the gym itself, I was not impressed. Long wait for machines, classes seemed crowded and after my workout, there were no towels for me to use. Based on their prices, I'm surprised that it seemed more like a low-end facility rather than the luxury that I imagined would be associated with Equinox .

I registered for this gym in May 2023, but I've been experiencing technical issues with the app since day one. I can't log into my account to book any classes. I spoke with my account adviser, Caroline, who said she would need to involve the technical team to help resolve the issue. However, after a week, I still can't book a class through the app. I then called my account adviser to cancel my membership. The app indicates that my membership is canceled, but I'm still being charged month to month for the next 17 months. I called them today, and they said they can’t do anything about it, even though it's not my fault that I couldn't log into my account thus I had to cancel. The manager- Tang, said he can't do anything to help!

Stopped in for a quick smoothie, it was anything but quick. I don't think they were happy to be there or cared that i was there. Anyhow, took quite a while and charged a premium price. Will not be stopping in again.

===update === After 2 months of equinox promised this issue will be investigated, there was 0 communication, 0 follow-ups from Equinox other than promotion emails ========== I have been a dedicated member of Equinox, consistently enjoying the high-quality fitness classes and the community's mission. Unfortunately, a recent incident at the Columbus Circle location has compelled me to cancel my membership. The issue began when I placed my scooter in an area(hall way) as suggested by an assistant manager(see picture), which seemed to be a misunderstanding on the part of the general management. Last Saturday, the General Manager, Mr. Tang, took it upon himself to lock my scooter away without prior notice. When I questioned this action, he challenged the legitimacy of my earlier interaction with the assistant manager in a manner that I perceived as rude and mistrusting. This incident not only caused me inconvenience but also signaled a concerning lack of trust and respect towards members. What compounded my disappointment was the lack of any form of apology on locking up my properties or remedial action from the General Manager, despite being made aware of the situation and its impact on me as a member. Further, the response—or lack thereof—from the Equinox Concierge service did nothing to address the situation, leaving my concerns unacknowledged. The only reaction I got from concierge is: “We're sorry to hear you are leaving Equinox and we thank you for your time with us. If you would like to reinstate your membership, you may do so within 60 days of your cancellation date. This review is a difficult one to write, given that the coaching staff and classes at Equinox are exceptional. However, management's trust in and treatment of its members is equally important. I’ve been to many equinox clubs, and this Columbus circle club is the reason why I choose to leave. If you have a chance to try a different club/fitness place, please try it and don’t let anyone treat you as they do.

BEWARE OF THIEVES IN THE LOCKER ROOM. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR SHOES OR SOCKS ON THE LOCKER FLOOR. YES I HAVE LOST THEM. Equinox E85 has been a fantastic gym experience for me. The variety of classes, especially under the stunning glass ceiling, is amazing. The cycling and yoga studios are decent, though the noise from weights being dropped upstairs during yoga can be a bit distracting. So I would prefer other quiter yoga studios. It would also be great if JuicePress made fresh smoothies on site. Despite these minor issues, I genuinely love working out here and appreciate the excellent facilities and classes offered. Equinox has truly enhanced my fitness.

The thing I like best about this gym is the yoga studio and how clean it is. The yoga studio feels private and very large. Some members get upset abt the weights dropping on the floor above us but it doesn’t bother me so much. There are a lot of stairs in this gym and the layout can be confusing but they have tons of cardio machines, weights and equipment and spacious mat area for stretching. I do get confused and get lost but it’s a beautiful space to be lost in.

I've truly enjoyed coming to this gym over the last 1.5 years. It's very clean, it has all of the right equipment including a straight pull up bar and more importantly space which allows me to work on handstands. I find staff and trainers to be very friendly, front desk always welcoming and smily, and management to be very understanding and responsive. I'm not sure where all the negative reviews came from, but speaking from my personal experience I have nothing but great things to say about this gym.

I'm really disappointed with the Equinox on E 85th St—it's by far the worst location I’ve been to. The women’s steam room never goes above 40 degrees, which is basically useless. I’ve asked management multiple times to fix it, but nothing ever gets done. It feels like no one is listening, yet I’m still paying for amenities I can’t even use. Some of the instructors do the exact same workouts every week. The whole point of taking classes is to try something different, but it feels unoriginal and lazy when they just repeat the same routines. For what they charge, you'd expect more variety and effort. And don’t get me started on the showers—they’re tiny and uncomfortable. For the price they charge, this place doesn’t live up to the hype. Definitely not worth the money. Equinox E 85th is the worst location I’ve been to.

I deeply regret ever signing a contract with Equinox. Their business practices are deceptive, and I’ve been trying to cancel my membership for over three weeks with no success. The customer service team is unhelpful and unresponsive, making the process extremely frustrating. I highly recommend avoiding this gym at all costs.

Membership advisor in this location is rude and arrogant. The advisor Christine is rude and impatient, it cuts you when you trying to explain the process and rush you to hung up the phone without any interest in solving problem. I’m a little disappointed cuz the advisors at other locations are friendly and willing to help.

The Rockefeller centre is really cool. So much to do there. The top of the rock is very nice with friendly staff. 3 levels of viewing. The 80th, 86th and 102 floors. Being able to walk outside is nice and you get a 360 degree view of Manhattan.

Overall, Equinox attends to a certain clientele who appreciates loud, noisy techno/rap music and a "trendy" atmosphere. It is more about "see and bee seen"" than about the level os attention dedicated to patrons by staff. I definitely decided never to go there again after the blasé receptionist with a "I-could-not-care-less-attitude" told me that a DAILY pass to use the gym for about an hour would cost US$ 75. Are you guys crazy? Or are you extremely selective about avoiding daily customers by charging an unreal exorbitant fee? I did not feel welcome and I do not recommend it.

Nice gym , pretty big too Sauna is good as well and steam but they always change the lights it supposed to be a relaxing time for members now it they put this huge “concert” lights even if you close your eyes you still have this brightness in your eyes … besides that all ok

One of my favorite locations. I go early and it’s never too packed. I noticed so many equinox gyms don’t have much natural light so it’s nice to be in a place with lots of windows. The showers and steam rooms are very spacious, and there’s a food court, too! No tik tokers in there, either so it’s good to be in a room with serious lifters.

During my short stay in NYC, I decided to visit Equinox East 92nd to get a proper workout, and it certainly did not disappoint. The gym is well-equipped with top-of-the-line equipment that caters to all fitness needs. I was particularly impressed with the lowest level of the gym. The equipment selection here is outstanding, providing everything needed for a comprehensive workout. The lighting on this level is also perfect, creating an energizing and motivating atmosphere. Overall, Equinox East 92nd offers a premium fitness experience that’s hard to beat. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, this gym is a fantastic choice for a great workout. Highly recommended!

I am a member with Equinox and honestly the gym membership is worth every single penny! The spa services, gym equipment, classes, and the Kiehl’s hair and body products are what sets this gym membership apart from other gyms. This staff and the impeccable cleanliness of each gym is amazing! Also, they have juice bars and if you ever need additional workout clothes some of the equinox have stores inside. If you sign up after reading this review use me as a referral! I recommend getting the destination package so you can enjoy amenities at the other gym. Trust me it’s worth every penny … start your membership today! You will not be sorry!

I have been an equinox member with access to all locations for a few years now, and I mostly love my membership. This was the first time I have been to this location, and it was just the worst experience for an equinox facility. One of the yoga instructors weirdly solicited their private classes to me, and to top of it off, someone swiped my AirPods after 5 minutes withy eyes off them. When I inquired about them at the front desk, a woman at the front desk was extremely rude to me. There was a guest yelling and cursing on the phone in the lounge area - it was wild. I will not be going back to this location.

Top tier equinox facility. I love their functional fitness floor. All their trainers are friendly, as is the front desk staff and all are very helpful. The cleaning staff does a great job at keeping it clean and well run. Management switches up the equipment location and removes equipment sometimes and doesn’t inform the trainers. I’ve messaged management asking abt this sometimes and they are not helpful and have been rude. Management aside, the staff and the people you see working here are wonderful.

very rude two staff members on fridays throws everyone off the gym floor to run a private class. they play obscenely loud music and have no respect for other members who are in mid-workout. They just throw everyone out. otherwise great gym and great staff
