You won't find a better team of coaches or a nicer community. I recommend SWAG for any gymnast, at any level.

My daughter and I have been at the gym for several years now. Of the three gyms we’ve worked out at, SWAG has been by far the best. SWAG has definitely become a second family. The office staff is super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The team coaches are all ridiculously great, and have decades and decades of experience between all of them. The gym owner is fun and very involved in his programs. The Rec staff is all wonderful and keep the kids moving, having a great time and keep them learning new skills in a positive environment. Parents night out has fun weekend staff. We love SWAG so much! Too many good things to say.

We had a terrible experience here! Our 6 year old went to the assessment class to determine what class she would go to. The coach for this group was incredibly rude and condescending to the kids, I couldn’t believe my ears! I almost pulled my daughter right out. Many of these kids are new and just trying this for the first time and the coach was making frustrated sighs and yelling at them when they weren’t doing the moves right - rolling her eyes and just absolutely condescending with no encouragement. Again, this was a beginner assessment class!!! How would they know what to do?? She had zero patience and was so harsh with these little kids, it was heartbreaking and after a few rude comments I would’ve pulled my daughter right out but I didn’t want rob her of being able to try something new that she had been wanting to try so bad. In the end I would NEVER sign her up here - after the class my daughter said “the lady kept getting mad at me because I couldn’t do a cartwheel.” It was sad and I regret not leaving earlier. I told the manager at the desk and she replied that the instructor was usually great but having a “bad day.” I’m sorry, you can’t take your bad days out on little kids, it’s not only wrong but also unprofessional. I would never ever recommend sending your children here to learn something new. Even if it’s just one bad coach, it could crush a child’s spirit!

It's been a year and Paige is ready to come back with friends and have some fun again. She loves it there. Thank you.

My initial impression was good, but I'm not really convinced about it being a good place for young kids. Maybe okay for older ones. There is no communication between staff members and nothing gets notated on the accounts (at least not in my case), so the miscommunication caused big issues. I definitely feel like my children are handled and viewed as if they are less valuable than the other participants. I'll update this review if it changes.

Odin’s Strength is a true gem. This is a great spot for experienced lifters and beginners alike with a welcoming atmosphere and an insane variety of equipment. You can really tell the owners care with the constant improvement of the facilities and addition of new, and sometimes fully custom equipment. I’ve never had to wait for a bench, rack, or platform even at peak hours. The people who work out here, especially the nighttime crowd, have been nothing but cool, helpful, and informative. Well worth the price of membership.

I feel like a kid in a candy store here! Odin's has a ton of equipment you won't find anywhere else. The "old-school" feel and plethora of training equipment is top-notch. I love being able to come anytime I want to without sitting at home, waiting for my gym to open. I also LOVE not having to step around tri-pods, navigate around groups of people, or wait for people sitting on machines. People come here to work , and it allows me to maximize my efficiency during my workouts.

Here because non-member Dale posted 3-stars. Kidding, I’ve been a member for a bit almost 2 years. Best gym in the Vancouver area.

This is simply a great gym. It has a large selection of free weights and equipment, and there is plenty of room so you don't have to maneuver around people. It is truly inclusive - patrons are respectful of each other, no matter their gender, body type, appearance, or level of training. The simple one-number monthly fee (quite reasonable) and contract is a welcome change from the complicated fee structure and contracts of many other gyms. 24/7 access makes it easy to consistently fit in your workouts around the rest of your life. I've used military and civilian gyms regularly for more than 40 years, and this is one of the best. The couple that own and operate it are experienced lifters and bodybuilders, which really shows in how it is set up and run.

The best gym I’ve been to for powerlifting/bodybuilding. You won’t find your typical 10 rows of elliptical equipment and treadmills here, this isn’t a big box gym, but that’s why I love this place. Dedicated stations for all your main lifts, and they are very rarely all being used at the same time. All the equipment/attachments your gym addicted heart could ever desire. Every person in the gym I have met is here is friendly and not here to play around and make reels for their influencer page lol. Owners are awesome! But we all know the dog is the real gym manager here, I’ve been visited several times during a workout and it’s always a welcomed break for some quick pets. 🐕 10/10 gym, oh and 24/7 access as a member.

Solid place. Plenty of specialty equipment for powerlifting and strongman. Plenty of platforms, racks, kilo plates, specialty barbells, and strongman implements. There’s even a setup for Olympic lifting. It isn’t pretty, but what it lacks in esthetics it more than makes up for being a very well-equipped gym. 24/7/365 access. With people ranging from competitive bodybuilders and strength athletes to total beginners, there’s room for anybody on their lifting journey.

WOW! This place has got eeeverything! If you're serious about getting in the best shape of your life, this is the place. AND, the first visit is always FREE. Why wouldn't someone give this place a try? I'm in from out of town. I travel all over the country. Hardcore Barbell is the best gym I've been to in my travels. I'd certainly drop my membership at home and join this place if it was anywhere near my home. Seriously, anything "lifting related", they have it! McGlashen Stones? Are you kidding me?!?! Too cool. I do the same ole workouts all the time. There would always be something new, interesting, and, more importantly, challenging to do here. Great vibe. Loved it. 5 stars isn't enough.

Rad gym, rad people. There is so much in the way of equipment, and I love the vibe of everyone there. It has a lot of great stuff for powerlifting, strongman, and bodybuilding. I especially love the turf area with the sleds! The owner is also amazing and opened his doors to hosting our Special Olympics team, without batting an eye! Craig is knowledgeable and loves to spread that knowledge to everyone.

Great gym! Jake is a great trainer and nice to work with. I've been looking for a strength training gym, not crossfit, and this gym was exactly what I wanted. Lots of equipment and space.

Fantastic atmosphere, and was spoiled for choice on how to abuse myself today. Completely old school gym vibes without the toxicity from the old school.
