I have been enjoying Pilates classes at this studio for almost two years. It really helped me to tone my body after my second baby and keep me stay fit and motivated. Love coming here where I experience different work out sessions every time. This approach keeps me interested and engaged. Staff is lovely and trainers are great. They always offer different extra challenges throughout the year so definitely worth exploring their offerings. Highly recommended.

I’ve been going here for about a month now and have been loving my experience! The instructors are all very friendly and helpful in adjusting positions to get the most out of classes. The environment is welcoming and makes me want to go back. Definitely recommend for anyone looking to try Pilates!

Started coming here in Jan'23 as a part of a works-for-me workout research project that I was conducted...and I haven't looked back. Multiple classes every week, all hours of the day, I have never felt more fit and healthy in my life. The machines are the best you can get, the experience is fantastic every time, the instructors are amazing, and the community could not be any more welcoming. SP Park Slope has become a key part of my life and I couldn't be happier about it.

I absolutely love studio Pilates south slope! I’ve been going for two months now and I’ve noticed so much change and I feel much stronger. It’s an investment, but I don’t think anything has been as affective at regaining core strength after having my two kids. The instructors I’ve had have been knowledgeable and great at correcting form of offering adjustments.

Other Crunches I’ve been to are much nicer than this one. Main issues are with the old/janky equipment and lack of space/machines for strength training. Switched from another gym because I got an exceptional promotional deal. It’s worth at a much-lower-than-normal price, but not at the standard price. There isn’t enough strength equipment for the number of people who go (just 2 bench press machines and about 6 regular benches), and as other reviewers note, everything is old and the machines are often broken or not working properly. The cardio machines are also of inconsistent quality, but there’s enough of them that this isn’t a huge issue. Been to a couple Crunch locations and this is clearly the worst of them.

Apparently, people are not allowed to work out without a shirt. I had surgery and can barely stand having a shirt on. Nor was the manager there to help me, and there was no one at the counter for check in. They have an entire sauna, so it seemed perfectly reasonable, as in any other gym, to have your shirt off, especially when you have to pay over $100 monthly. Nor did they mention this during in-person enrollment. Extremely disappointed and will be waiting for my full refund.

I’ve been a member of crunch for years now, this is by far my favorite location. The people who work here are awesome, so friendly and the place is kept clean. They’ve got a pretty spacious functional fitness area for city standards. & the price is way more affordable than the other gyms in the area while still offering things like sauna, shower products & towels.

It's fine. As other reviews have stated, some shady stuff goes on where they say they sent a letter notifying you of increases in fees but that's not the case. There are sometimes issues with the equipment sticking or not being maintained well (rope attachments super frayed, bathrooms without paper towels, lots of hair and dust in the class rooms), and front desk is very hit or miss. There was a period of time where they clearly paid for fake reviews to boost their score on Google. Good thing is it's a convenient location and they have some great teachers. Never have seen an employee rerack anything and the trainers (not all) will often inconvenience other members (standing in the way, doing a circuit with their customer on 1 of 2 bench press stations for half an hour, using a bench to hold their phone and water) or just demonstrate bad gym etiquette. Lately there's been chalk all over the weights area and several areas of the floor compress down and are a tripping hazard. All in all, it's average, but priced high for the experience. If they brought in a good manager I think it would do wonders for this place.

I’ve been going here for I don’t know how long - seven years at least. Very happy that they’ve added a third bench press - it was much needed! Solid gym. Main criticism is that it’s impossible to sign up for classes, they’re always full.
