Just signed up with help from Victoria, she was incredibly informative and very welcoming. I am super excited they are going to a salt water pool and red light therapy over tanning beds! Feels like actual fitness/wellness more than the oldschool toxic "poison yourself for aesthetics" vibe. Super excited to be here! 🩷

overall, great gym but I do have some concerns... first of all, they talking about replacing the tanning beds with red light therapy.... that is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. also they have a nice pool but no children under the age of 12 are allowed. last night i saw a dog in the pool. so a dog is allowed but not my 6 year old daughter who loves to swim??? got it. also they have a bunch of useless machines but no standing calve raise machine. that is super crazy to me.i also heard other nonsense like changing the pool into a salt water pool... Luke anyone cares. yall get rid of the tanning beds I'm breaking my contract better believe it.

Again, sitting in the dark in the sauna. Theatre room has not functioned since before Christmas. Equipment too close together. Infringes on personal space.

I moved out of the area, Seth H, the general manager and his team made it super easy to cancel my membership! Very nice and professional people!

I hoped after Onelife took over I’d see improvements. I pay more now than I did when it was MUV, yet I have no idea why. I see no improvements, I’m very disappointed. I walked out the tanning room, it was disgusting. As you can see in the photos, hair stuck to the walls, crap stuck to the tanning beds, etc. I’m responsible for cleaning the acrylic (area where you lay) not the walls or the entire bed. Dust all over the fire alarm as if it’s been there for weeks. DHEC requires you Check for cleanliness of tanning equipment and that sanitation is done by an employee of the facility. It’s abundantly obvious it’s not being done.

I finally canceled my membership here today after over a half decade. This place is really going downhill fast. What started as amenities and nice equipment has basically been reduced to “minimally adequate.” Machines are constantly under repair for extended periods of time. Cables break and are often not replaced for months at a time. The locker rooms are usually not clean and have plumbing issues. I would echo a previous review that tape is often placed over things that are broken and this has been the case for years not months. Every member is charged a fee annually for maintenance and upkeep on machinery. But nothing seems to ever be added or maintained. I’ve had to personally carry a tool kit into the gym in order to repair machinery that I wanted to work on. When I asked the current manager, if he have the tools required to tighten bolts, he indicated they have never considered that. The parking lot has many spaces that are too overgrown for cars to park. Lights don’t come on in the parking lot at night. The entrance is a mess of broken lights and exposed wiring. Also inexplicably at some point about a year and a half ago they decided to put gravel at the entrance so every time you try to exit the facility onto a busy road your rear wheel spin and you throw rocks everywhere. Staff turnover is constant and when I went to cancel my membership today, I was just given a slip of paper with an email address To send a cancellation request. No service available at the desk. The owner appears to have been taking customer money for years with little reinvestment.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This place has gone downhill fast. the remedy for the benches is to slap a piece of black tape over it. Several machines are not flat to ground and wobble and shack when you sit down on them. The cable machines have been out of commission for almost two months waiting on a new cable. Very crowded. Poor equipment maintenance. Definitely not the same gym I joined years ago.

Loving it. It’s not overly crowded and all the front desk folks are super kind and helpful, especially Dre. He made signing up low stress and easy. The facility is clean and I’ve only taken a couple of classes, but Melissa was super warm and made me feel comfortable in her Spin class. I also love that they offer a month to month membership with 24 hour access.

MOST of the time, it's great, busy at expected times but TONIGHT, 1-2-2025 @8pm; There are at least 10 kids running around jumping on all the equipment, yelling. To address a previous comment, YES there is a good bit of wobbly equipment and it took 4 months to fix a single cable on 1 machine. But the majority of the time, I'm happy here.

I totally enjoy the atmosphere at Planet Fitness, and this new location has it; a great vibe, friendly staff, and great equipment. Very excited as this one is close to home. Also has a great window view while working out.

It’s good for the casual gym goer. They promised alot of new weights and machines , which I was under the impression they would have regular benches and maybe dumbbells that go over 75lbs, but that’s not the case. The machines are also scattered all over. Instead of having all the leg equipment in one area, I have to go searching for hamstrings, calves, etc. It’s the same as any other PF.

Nice gym. Has what you want to get a good workout. Staff is friendly! nice to work with and talk to them :) I think the black card is worth it for the recovery after!
