Best Gyms with Saunas near Jacksonville, Florida

Very nice gym. I am not a fan of the old equipment. They are squeaky and could be replace with new equipment like some of their other locations. It is very spacious and has plenty of equipment. they also have a shop at the front with prework out powders and energy drinks. They have an athletic room to the right when you walk in. the staff were also very nice and answered any questions I had regarding memberships and classes. I was surprised by the locker rooms and bathrooms. They were very clean and had plenty of vanities. There was also a sauna that was pleasant to use. The main floor also had a basketball court and cycling room.

If you have a 24hr gym that has a security door that only works when there's power, why did you close the gym completely on a day after a storm? If there's no power, the card scanner wouldn't work anyway, which is understandable. You don't need staff during the times that the main part is closed anyway. The power is on inside, yet you locked the doors on what's supposed to be a 24hr gym.

This is one of the worst companies in the gym business. They will steal your money. DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT with this place, they don't even have a corporate anymore. There is absolutely NO ONE to help you through anything. Your money is just gone. LA Fitness, YMCA and a handful of other places are far better in everyway. Especially customer service.

As a long time committed member of Baileys gyms, I have to say that this last year has been very disappointing, specifically this one. From the cleanliness, to the restocking of paper towels, toilet paper, and disinfectant, to the broken machines that are not fixed in a timely matter, is very concerning since the time Chuze has purchased the gym. The music and even channels on the TV are also different, which makes the environment less desirable. Take a note of the music and channels that are at the Dunn Ave location. That's the gym with the best music and workout environment. Baileys was considered a 5 star gym up until this buyout. And even though there were a couple times Baileys did disappoint, it was never like this. Baileys had 2 opportunities, that I know of, to expand their gyms. First when they were at the Parental Home location when the Winn Dixie closed. Even the workers were telling members that they were going to lease out that empty space and expand the gym. However, they decided to move to the now St. John's location..cool. Second was at the Dunn Ave location where the place next door to them moved..still never expanded. Now, the 103rd location is in a similar situation where they can expand due to the closure of the business next door. Chuze, please consider expanding this location. Lease out the next door location and expand the gym. Make it a Powerhouse! Make it where the members who pay extra for the Athletic room can use it 24/7 and not just during store hours. It's unfair. Add a Cardio Theater like some of the other gyms. There is much potential with an expansion! Many current members will be pleased with this and it will be a great incentive for other members to join.

I appreciate the staff for their friendly approach when I arrive, and the group fitness instructor for encouraging me to achieve my fitness goals.

I was a new member of the PF on 103rd Jax Fl , I had been attending for 4 days. On the 4th day I was joined by my 13 and 14 year old . An hour and 15 minutes into my workout I was informed I can only have one guest. I let the guy at the front desk with long hair and glasses that I was unaware of that. He then proceeded to ask me how old were my kids and I told him . He then asked for my kids ID or birth certificate to prove it . I advised him that i don’t have those documents on me at the time . I then instructed my kids to go sit in the lobby being that I only had 5 minutes left on the treadmill. They guy from the front desk then proceeded to tell me that i needed to “get off the treadmill now” . I was treated horribly and I felt the staff were discriminating against me because I know plenty of friend who be in g their teenagers to workout and they were never asked for ID or birth certificate for their children . The next day I got a call from angel that works for PF and was advised my membership was cancelled and I could never return to the franchise again. My membership was still cancelled even though i let him know that I am aware of the guest procedures and it was a simple misunderstanding. The staff are rude and very unwelcoming and treat the members like they are not paying customers. For me to not ever be able to go back because I was unaware of the guest procedure’s is insane and they won’t be open king if they keep banning people for minor issues and misunderstanding. If I could give 0 stars I would .

The particular location was closed for about 5 months (I think) and I just went in at the beginning of this month and it is all brand new and open. The black card area is to the right, right past the desk which I think is better and safer because before it was like a weird dark hallway on the other side of the gym. Not that is was ever bad or unsafe but I really like the new layout

This was a recommendation from my cousin in Pensacola. She has a FB Group to help encourage, motivate, and keep accountable all our fitness goals. Thanks for the head's up cuz. This location is between my husband's job and on the way home so it seemed a good fit to be able to meet up weekly and share the drive. Location has a ton of parking as it off a main shopping plaza. The signage is huge and you can't miss it. The staff is always friendly and greet each guest upon entry. It is great to see the staff going around consistently cleaning the equipment and there are napkins and cleaning sprays at key spots for self service too. The lighting is perfect and there are security cameras in public places for peace of mind. The lay-out of the stretch station, from 30 min. work out areas, to a ton of equipment and options is ideal. The public restrooms are spacious with lockers, showers and such. I absolutely love the APP and it shows the Crowd Meter so if your not feeling so social, one could plan a visit accordingly. Signing up online or in person is so easy. You have to check it out! I highly recommend the Black Card to take advantage of the benefits of the hydro water massage chairs. There is one you sit in like a lounger and the other you lay flat on like a bed. Man, after running, bicycling, lifting etc...to be able to wind down and cool down before driving back home, is ideal!! Consistency is key and if you workout 30 min. every other day, its got to be better then nothing right? Another plus, there is savings through the APP that is a big help when funds are tight and you need a different size workout wear. Yes, you may need it when you get your fitness on! LOL! It is great to be able to go to any location in any state too. Traveling and want to stay on the ball. No problem with Planet Fitness. Great place, friendly staff, good parking, variety and diversity of guests and staff. No complaints except I am sore. Haa! Haa! First time here as I am a traveler for business. Great staff. Always the best part of Planet Fitness. Feel is new and clean. Hot water in the shower helps sore muscles. Thank you! I will look forward to some kind of seating in the locker room and hooks at the showers. I am a healthy and agile 60 year old. I am not sure how anyone with limitations can navigate the shower area with no chair, towel hooks, tiny table or anything in changing room. Where do I put my earrings? I hopped on one foot on wet floor to put my shoes on since there's nowhere to sit. Good exercise. I'm sure you will get the details soon.

Awesome workout, as always. Very clean facility. I'm always satisfied when I go. The only issue I have is that the massage chair or bed can not be used by a guess. These two items are always vacant when I go there. I have no problem waiting if they are occupied because they have a time limit. I prefer this place over the big and fancy gyms that cost so much money. Thanks PF, for having me at your facilities.

This gym has just about everything you need to get a great workout! The equipment is well-maintained, and there’s a good variety for all kinds of fitness routines. At times, the space can feel a bit tight, and the air can get a little stuffy, but that’s to be expected in a busy gym environment. The staff at the front desk are always friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. Overall, it’s a solid place to stay on track with your fitness goals!

I live in Texas and visiting family for the holiday week. Stopped by the gym for the first time two days ago and had a great experience, so decided to come back for another workout. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I was given a tour on my first visit and a free first workout. The gym has tons of equipment and a lot of space. All areas are very clean and everyone wipes down weight stations as they go. Paul and John are top notch and made me feel welcome. Very friendly atmosphere overall. Wish I had a gym like this back home. When I'm back in town, I'll definitely do my workouts here! Awesome gym!

I was staying overnight in Jacksonville and needed a one day pass at a good gym. I called EnerGYM NorthJAX when I arrived late in the afternoon and asked if I could come in that evening to workout. I spoke with John and not only was it ok, but he also gave me a brief tour of the gym. A+ for customer service. The gym had all the equipment I needed, and was modern, clean, not too busy in early evening when I went and had a good vibe. Highly recommend 👍

First I’d like to thank Jay for letting us come use the sauna, we were out of town and trying to make weight. Gym is super nice, all great machines, if back in the area we know where to go and def will recommend to friends. Thank you Sir

If you are someone who genuinely loves working out, loves fitness, and exercise is apart of your daily routine, this is the gym to be apart of! This is their newest location. It has someone of the best equipment that you can’t find anywhere but fancy gyms. The owner Brad is as good as they come! Knowing Brad, he will continuously improve and upgrade the gym and make it even better! My favorite part is the metal plates! No better sound. Amazing vibes from all staff and gym goers. I highly recommend this gym to anyone!

I love going to this gym. The equipment is always available, and the gym is always very clean. The staff is so polite, and they are all super helpful in assisting me with my fitness journey. I appreciate that they provide an area for just women to working out. I have lost over 80 pounds going to this gym. Teddy and Brian (Fu) are great staff members.

The renovations are coming along nicely. Can’t wait to see the new lift room dedicated to more of the power lifting movements!

Moved to this location after the location at Atantic and Hodges closed Large weight area with plenty of equipment. Some of the stuff is dated but works fine for me. Only downside is the mens locker room. It is more like a small clothes closet. No where near the size of the recently closed location. Almost no room in there to shower and dress comfortably. Been nice if that was remodeled.

I have absolutely loved joining Bailey's Gym for a number of reasons. The staff, ranging from the cleaning crew to the manager (Logan), has been super welcoming and helpful in all areas. The childcare is excellent and Ms. Maria really loves what she does and makes sure the kids have a great experience so that the parents can take a few hours to focus on their mental and physical health! I am happy to be a member here!
