I love this gym! I’ve been going here for a few years now and they are always buying new equipment and improving the space. Lots of equipment, I rarely have to wait for something to open up. I love that they don’t force you into contracts and you can easily cancel anytime and they have drop in available as well if you just want to try it out or are here from out of town. The owners, Dani and Kyle and the rest of the staff are always so friendly. I also train with Kyle and he is a fantastic trainer as well!

Bellingham’s premier fitness facility. This gym has everything ANY type of lifter needs. Any equipment you could think of - they have it. And even if it’s peak time of the day like 5pm, you’ll still have enough equipment to use without running out of options. The hours: 24 hours. So it will fit anyone’s schedule. They have security cameras. The staff: friendly, accommodating and always helpful. The owners Kyle and Dani are always available when questions about the gym need to be addressed. Ben, Dave, and the entire staff are always friendly and around to help out. Parking: adequate for the amount of foot traffic and secure. Amenities: Infrared sauna, shower rooms and ADA bathrooms. Membership: flexible, month to month and reasonable for the amount of equipment you have access to.

Incredible gym . The selection of machines they have , including the great variety of accessory exercises like hip thrust machines and reverse hyper is great! They even have a strongman section with things like farmers walk device (which I can’t lift ) and stones, and their dumbbells go up to 125 pounds . There is a sled run too. In addition to all that the staff is great !

Pretty serious gym. Lots of equipment, mostly in very good shape. (A few benches need re-foam-and-cover-ing.) 24 hour access once you've joined. There are even Atlas stones and other Strongman equipment in the back. Pricing is higher than other places and it's a bit out of my way, but I am going to stick with it for at least a couple of months while the cheaper places are extremely busy...

Excellent gym! I was visiting the area for a couple weeks, and was looking for a gym to keep my strength training workouts on track. I am so happy that I found Training Grounds - it is a rare gym - a place with a vast amount of equipment but also an all-are-welcome vibe. People are friendly, but also let you have your space to workout. Unlike many gyms, there is a good mix of men and women working out - all are welcome!

This is a great club and earned the top spot on my favorite list (and I’ve had 4 memberships at once at various gyms)! If you like clean equipment that always works - this is the place for you. Tennis, biking classes, TRX, cardio tennis clinics, weights, cardio and a fireplace to boot! The staff are super friendly and I wave to the owner every morning when they arrive at 6:30am to bike. It’s also affordable!!! One of the things I also love is that you scheduled your workout times online which ensures safety by having social distance. Everyone is safe and always wear a mask. Wiping down the equipment is a breeze and lots of hand sanitizer to use. What are you waiting for?

There is a reason this spot is ranked one of the top gyms in Bellingham. They have very thoughtfully created a perfect spot for working out. Awesome stations with every piece of equipment you’d need and a great area to be more social as well with multiple types of machines and cardio equipment. Oh and I guess they have tennis courts as well 😅

The only indoor tennis club in Bellingham and they charge a $500 (FIVE HUNDRED) initial fee to be able to use it. Definitely not accessible for any casual players, or anyone in my tax bracket. Really disappointed.

I work out here 3/4 times a week and it's always a great experience. A great gym with two large rooms full of well-maintained equipment, a friendly and helpful staff, and none of that annoying 'gym bro' nonsense that makes so many gyms terrible to work out in. Also, several awesome tennis courts, and a bunch of classes being offered regularly. Best gym in and around Bellingham by far!

BTTC is has a lot to offer for fitness and the staff welcome you by name. The spinning classes have good bikes and instructors. I missed spinning and am so happy to be back on a spinning bike for a morning workout! Consider coming back! The 7am class needs more more people to have that energy boost we all want from a class. There is plenty of ventilation and sanitizing between classes. In general, the club does a great job of remaining on the Covid-cautious side of things.

10/10 would recommend. Had no problem cancelling membership. Super respectable of them. Great helpful, understandable employees. Great clean place to work out, shower, sauna. There’s even some outlets to charge your stuff.

Paid for a 1 week pass, because I was traveling to Bellingham for work, then got told on Day 2 that my pass was only good for one day. I train every day from 5-7am. I told the front desk worker exactly what dates I would be there when I paid for the pass when I bought it, and double-checked check-in procedures before I left, so there was no mistake. He told me a manager would call me, which never happened. He seemed like one of the most apathetic gym employees I’ve ever run into in my travels. Other than that, the equipment is a bit dated, but they pretty much have everything you need. Gym members, at least in the early morning, seem respectful and rerack their weights. With a few changes, this gym could be amazing.

This place has started going down hill. There’s a reason their rates are so much cheap than all other gyms in town. The owner just doesn’t care. These pictures are from April 24, 2023. If they’re not willing to spend $50 on touch up paint and hand grips for the machines, what will they do when machines need replacement? And no one seems to notice the board by the men’s locker room has dates from 5 months ago

Great value gym, especially if you sign up as a new member. Equipment is older, and general cleanliness has been great. Every day i see their maintenance person working hard to keep it clean. Some bigger cleaning projects like shower ceilings are getting tackled now, perhaps thanks to new management (Congrats once again Sarah). I've even gone barefoot in showers and have been fine btw. Re towels, I've seen them run out ONCE. Very thankful for the plentiful supply of complimentary towels for wiping down equipment and shower towels. Should they ever run out again due to issues beyond their control, I suppose one could simply buy a $2 towel especially if you're concerned about covid :)
