ATF Red Oak is awesome. Currently ongoing major renovations. The staff are working double time to keep the gym clean and functioning. Tyler, Alysa & Carol are inspiring! They are very knowledgeable, eager to help and always bringing a very positive attitude. I couldn't be happier w/ my gym experience. Keep up the great work guys. Love Paul

I joined this gym in January 2023, signing what I believed to be a one-year contract. However, a month ago, I was sued by the gym, claiming I had stopped paying. I was unaware that I was still a member. I rarely went due to the poor quality of the facilities and had already joined another gym. To resolve the issue, I had to reinstate my membership and pay fees to get out of collections. I never agreed to a two-year contract, and a staff member with black hair is aware of this. Unfortunately, I didn't scrutinize the contract for a two-year term because I trusted the gym based on our discussions. A word of advice: thoroughly read the terms and agreements when signing up to ensure there are no hidden clauses. Now, I'm stuck with this membership until January 25. I don't use the gym, but I will start going back and documenting the issues. While the front desk staff is professional and friendly, my main concerns are with the cleanliness, equipment quality, and overall environment. There have been no upgrades to this location despite being charged an enhancement fee and $20 biweekly. The shower room is dirty and smelly, with a broken door handle unless it has been fixed. There are always groups of people who seem to be using the facilities without paying. The sinks and toilets do not function properly, the equipment is outdated or broken, and there is no sauna. This is especially problematic for elderly members with weaker immune systems. This is the worst gym in the area—overpriced and low quality. The machinery is old and faulty, the carpet is worn and dirty, and the place is musty and hot/humid. DO NOT COME HERE!

If you need a shower after your workout I advice picking somewhere else. There was zero warmth to the water.

There are so many things I love about Hotworx in general but this location is top notch! Laura is always running some kind of special or promotion which can help you get discounts on your membership. She also periodically has events at the location to get people involved. She's always raffling things off or giving away free things, like workout gear and massages!! I know this costs her money and I appreciate that she is willing to show her clientele that she cares and wants to know them better by doing these interactive things. The saunas are always clean and I appreciate that they use natural cleaners! Sign up for Hotworx, you will not regret it!

I didn’t like it! with my busy schedule, I need to be able to go work out at the drop of a dime, but there were too many times that the time slot I needed wasn’t available, and if you need live assistance, that wasn’t always available either! so I called on April 4th to cancel my membership, the employee I talked to never told me i had to go in person too cancel, so i thought it was a done deal! fast forward October 4th, I discovered they have still been taking 64 dollars a month from my account, oh and by the way, the app they set you up with in order to book appointments was not working, so everything appeared to be cancelled. I talked to Lauren, the rudest owner I have ever encountered, tells me my membership is not cancelled, and that’s it! No refund, no nothing was offered to me! This is not good business Lauren! your employee should have told me I needed to come in person. Are we done with? No we’re not, we just got started Lauren!

I was working out at a different Hotworx facility and absolutely loved it. So of course when the Red Oak location opened and it was closer to my house, I decided to switch over. I didn't think I could like it anymore than I did, but the staff make this facility even that much better! They are always welcoming when you come in the door. The owner Laura is on site pretty regularly and you can tell she really has a passion for what she does. I overheard her one day speaking to another customer who was sharing some health concerns about how hard it's been for her to get back into working out. Laura told her she was very proud of her! It really touched me because most people wouldn't even take the time to care about your personal life. The facility is always clean. They have cleaner bottles everywhere and they use non toxic cleaner, which is a huge deal if you're trying to live a more natural lifestyle. I'm so glad to see they care about your health in more ways than one. The ease of scheduling through an app and being able to workout 24 hours a day is what initially drew me to this gym. My schedule is busy and I never know when I will have free time, so being able to schedule last minute helps me stay consistent. Honestly this is the longest I've ever stayed committed to a gym and I don't see that changing. I've had more compliments about how great I look and people can definitely see a change overall. That sure will keep a girl motivated! 😁 The benefits of the infared saunas have been great. I sweat more than I ever have working out, so I really feel like I'm getting more out of my workouts. I notice my skin is better, I feel less bloated, and overall my mental clarity has improved. I really notice my mood and mental state are not as good when I miss a week or two of working out. All the virtual instructors are awesome and I love how the videos rotate every so often. I feel that's important when working out so you don't become stagnant. I think it's exactly what Red Oak needed as we did not have anything like this out here. I love the concept of the gym, the facility is nice and new, and the staff is wonderful. 100% recommend.

HOTWORX has been awesome to me Amazing staff, Sanitized clean gym. ... Hands down, best choice gym in Ellis County My experience with the app and making appointments has been easy and convenient! If you want to book a room for a more personal experience Laura and her staff are always willing to do that for you. I love the intimate private sessions that I experience in the sauna. We received an excellent personal tour around the facility to show my daughter and I how everything works. By far the best facility around. HOTWORX Red Oak is the best choice I've made for my weight loss and health journey!
