short: great gym option at affordable price money-saving tip: wait for the semi-annual Groupon special where the membership is half the regular price if pay for one year long: It's okay. It's in a basement, which I'm not a fan of. It is clean and doesn't stink like Planet Fitness. The usual: crowded after work hours and people using the machines as furniture while texting for long periods of time, and people that seem to love to make sure their sweat is absorbed by the next person. I don't enjoy working out when I go to this location, so I just do a little something and leave before it gets crowded. I recommend this location as an alternative to Planet Fitness. If your budget can do it, Crunch is double the price but has classes and a very great atmosphere to work out in.

Out of the 4 gyms I've been in the Manhattan Area (54th Street, Bryant Park, Grand Central and now Chelsea) I would say at this point, this location is the largest Blink Gym in the city. It was almost the most crowded too, I was afraid I was gonna come across a similar situation to the gym in Corona, Queens with withdrawn, rude patrons hogging gym equipment. Fortunately it didn't come to that, I barely had to wait to use any machines that I wanted to make use of so I got a pretty good workout today. The gym interior is comfortable, the location of the area is nice and the commute there isn't complex, just taking the E train gets me there in 45 minutes. I will come around here again whenever I have another itch to come back to Manhattan.

Please give Nicholas a promotion. This Blink employee goes so above and beyond. He really helped me when my heart started to hurt post workout. And that’s not the only jam he helped me out with. Plus he’s so friendly. Truly makes each visit he’s here a joy.

Blink gyms are dotted around the city and I have been to a few and was going to the Avenue A one for over six months. This location in Chelsea is my favorite. It’s large, has lots of excellent machines, a large area for stretching, many cardio machines and a nice ladies locker room. I have been coming here for over five years. The staff are friendly and professional. Since I have been here the managers have had a high turnover - Lizzandro, Dulcie, Bella, Vince, Joel and now Bo. Except for Bella, I liked all of them. Bo is nice too. Team Blink of Adonis, Chris and Ciara who are there in the mornings are the people I see when I come in. They always have smiles on their faces. Recently Blink filed for bankruptcy and I was alarmed that they may close but was relieved that this was not the case. While the playlist is iffy at times I wish they would play more of rock and disco. Much peppier than rap. One person I miss a lot is Sara who was the cleaner. She was excellent. Often the bathrooms are not clean and run out of necessities.

The staff is nice : ) but they’re not very transparent about the $60 annual maintenance fee that comes even with the monthly plans, AND if you want to cancel they’ll still make you pay for another 2 months with a confusing scheme about pro-rated cancellation depending on when in the month you want to cancel. The equipment is somewhat old and not amazingly well-maintained, especially the ellipticals which are pretty run-down. The machines are pretty densely packed as well, and I don’t see any air purifiers or ventilation for Covid safety, and perhaps as a result most of the place reeks of body odor. I’m sure being in a basement and not having any doors or windows directly outside doesn’t help (also lends itself a sorta creepy dungeon vibe)

Equinox was a major letdown. The staff was unhelpful, the gym overcrowded, and cleanliness poor. For the high price, the service and experience were subpar, with overcrowded classes and constant upselling. Not worth the cost—look elsewhere for a gym that values its members.

Total waste of money. The trainers just don't care. I paid for sessions and had trainers cancel on me, try to move my session, or forget I had a session altogether. The equipment isn't even that nice anymore and they're constantly out of bath towels. The back bathroom constantly smells like vomit (not sure what's going on there). Save your money and pay for an average gym because that's what this place is, an average gym with "luxury" pricing.

I'm deeply saddened and disappointed by how my recent issue was handled by management. My encounter with Kelli, the Assistant General Manager, was far from satisfactory. After a distressing experience with a trainer on Sunday, August 4th, I have decided to cancel my membership. The trainer approached me with intrusive and inappropriate questions, which Kelli later described in an email as "weird." Apparently, this is how trainers are trained to seek out clients, which is troubling given that the trainer didn’t even introduce herself. Initially, the trainer made me uncomfortable by commenting, "nobody should be touching these machines with their bare skin," and then questioned whether I had cleaned the equipment. As a member, I find it unacceptable that a staff member would make such remarks. Regardless of whether I cleaned the machine or not, it is Equinox’s responsibility to ensure that equipment is consistently sanitized. Things took a further turn for the worse when the trainer approached me again about 30 minutes later. She said, "I was looking for you to bug your life," and proceeded to ask if I was interested in working with her. After I politely declined, she proceeded to ask, "well, what do you do if you don’t mind sharing," while scrutinizing me. I shared these details with Kelli, who repeatedly questioned how I could prove that the trainer was not looking at others in the same way. As a woman who has lost 130 pounds, I know firsthand what I experienced and find Kelli's dismissal of my concerns unacceptable. To make matters worse, Kelli threatened to hang up on me during our conversation because I was emotional. This behavior, combined with the numerous negative reviews about her, clearly shows that Kelli is not a good manager and does not care about her members. Equinox used to be my safe space, but after this experience, it no longer feels that way. I am truly disgusted.

Really poor experience at Equinox Tribeca. After over a year of being a member in Boston with a great experience, I moved to the city and had to transfer clubs. I joined equinox Tribeca and had a horrible experience. The worst part being management. The club manager, Kelly, was the most rude and disrespectful person I have ever come in contact with. After an unresolved issue with billing, I had reached out to the club multiple times, and they continued to say that the club manager would be in touch, either via email or phone. I waited over 6 weeks for a call, and never received one. After calling numerous times, I finally received a call back from “Kelly.” She screamed at me on the phone, refused to help me or escalate the problem, and then hung up on me. After reading other reviews, it seems other members have had similar issues with this same club manager. Really disgraceful.

The gym is fine, its nothing special but its fine. The management of this stupid is HORRENDOUS. I had a yearly membership that I was not able to use due to moving out of the city and the manager ghosted me when I tried to cancel, but I signed a contract so I understand. At the completion of the contract I reached out to ensure I didn't auto renew on a yearly basis and was told by the front desk associate that the manager would give me a call. Crickets, I ended up getting charged in April. I reached out again and was told I couldn't cancel over the phone and I would get an email to cancel. Once again, crickets. I got charged in May. Called to cancel, and finally was successful in cancelling however they cant promise I will get refunded for the last two months and its up to the manager and they will give me a call to discuss. I wont hold my breath.

I got injured at Michaela McGowan’s spinning class due to her negligence on how to use the bike properly. She gave zero instructions on the equipment prior to the class and rushed me out of the room after my injury. The gym manager Jill has been helpful but the instructor Michaela has taken absolutely zero responsibility in addressing the issue, not even an apology - definitely not the experience anyone would have wanted.

Used this gym since moving to the area in 2022. Trainers and staff are wonderful, very friendly, always happy to chat and make me feel welcome but unfortunately management spoils it. I would visit during off-peak hours specifically to use the weightlifting platform 3 times a week for almost 2 years. Recently the gym removed a row of cardio machines to create more space for gym equipment and also removed the weightlifting platform, when asked if the platform was being replaced or returned management said there "isn't room for the platform" despite the cardio machines being removed to make more space on the gym floor. I train and compete in weightlifting so don't require much equipment but the response from management after the removal of equipment that my two years of membership could replace two+ times over was abysmal. Comically enough when the platform was removed trainers and staff reached out to me as a member to let me know because they cared more about the gym users than management. It's a shame because I loved the community at Equinox and as someone who works from home that is really important but I have had to go elsewhere, fortunately there's a new gym across the street, recently opened, that has four weightlifting platforms. It is disappointing how management treats their members who have been using the gym for two years and the choices management make. This review is in no way representative of the coaches, my time at Gramercy Equinox meant I crossed paths with some phenomenal people and fitness professionals; Brennan, Ricardo, Alessandra, Tuesday, Mikka, Ana, Shahida, Carlos, Jamal, both Omars, Brian, Jenny, and Will.

Damon was an amazing massage therapist. Would 100% recommend him!!! He was really great to talk to and helped address everything I wanted done. I don’t have any insights on the gym itself though the staff was nice but it was super busy around 6p.

the gym is pretty good - not too crowded if you go off peak and they pretty much have everything you could want/need. i used to think it was overpriced but then started taking classes and that makes the monthly membership worth it. lydia dallas got me really into pilates and was just a pleasure to work with and talk to while keeping me completely at ease despite profuse sweating and a pitiful lack of flexibility. ugo and ahmad teach the most kickass boxing classes - love ugo for technique and combinations but ahmad's class will absolutely kick your ass and he'll do it with a smile and the best energy ever. used to kind of just take it on the chin and pay a premium for the gym closest to me with bearable crowds, but i really did end up loving it once taking classes with these three.

Disappointing Experience and Poor Communication I had a frustrating experience at Chelsea Piers Fitness. During a walk-through with Zack, I was told that my 16-year-old son could use the gym, which made me excited to get him a membership, especially since they offer boxing. However, both times I brought him, they asked for his ID. I explained that all he has is a school ID, which doesn't have his birthday on it because he's 16, but they wouldn't accept it. When I tried to cancel my membership on 1-14-25 6:30pm, I couldn't do it directly. The manager said someone would call me to cancel, but that never happened. Overall, it’s been a big waste of my time and money. The lack of clear communication and poor handling of the cancellation process were very disappointing.

By far the best gym I have ever been to in Manhattan! Immaculate facilities, tons of equipment, extraordinarily well-kept and fresh-looking locker room with an excellent sauna and steam room. However, what sets this place apart from the rest is the atmosphere and environment in the gym. It’s light and airy, with high ceilings and windows that let in tons of natural light, looking out to the river. Since it’s on a pier, you can even see the Statue of Liberty down the bay. It motivates me to come back every day. The sheer amount of activities here is mind-blowing, from the indoor track, boxing ring, volleyball, basketball, and pool. Even the stretching area is excellent, with the artificial turf. The cafe seating area can double as a coworking space with Wi-Fi and views looking south down the river. The coffee in the cafe is even good! They also offer a private locked bike storage area in the garage included in the membership. I can not say enough good things about this gym.

The facility is great and the new management (since 2019 I believe), just terrible. Right now, the swimming pool is closed for renovations: it was supposed to reopen on Labor Day weekend, it’s now mid November and still closed. On top of that, the management does not communicate on expectations on reopening timing. Terrible customer service. Also, be aware of hidden fees. I asked to freeze my membership because of the pool not being accessible and they are now charging me 30$ MONTHLY freezing fee: this is totally unreasonable and definitely gives me the feeling they are in the rip-off business. Please owners, change the management as soon as possible: CPF it’s been a lovely place for more than 8 years for me and the people in charge have been making the customer experience worse every day since they joined.

short: It's a fun and clean place to work out with classes, showers, and towel service included. The ambient lighting is beautiful and inviting. money-saving tip: check with your employer to see if you're eligible for the corporate rate, which is about 30% discount off the monthly rate long: I inquired about the corporate rate for my employer. I was excited to learn that it's about 30% off. I met with Louis that day after work. He gave me a tour and explained things. I really appreciate the exceptional experience he provides. I signed up immediately. The place just feels right. Unlike other gyms like Planet Fitness and blink where I want to leave as soon as possible, this place I actually want to stay, relax and recover, then workout more. The classes really make the membership price alone worth it. I work in an office so I'm sitting down all day, therefore I need movement and I get it from the classes. I did sign up for a dozen personal training sessions, and it's worth it. Jordan, the lead personal trainer, is very knowledgeable to a point that it shows he has a master degree in it. My personal trainer is Octave, a former soccer player. He is very patient and positive. This is the first time that I felt that the personal training was actually customized for my goals. In the past I had a personal trainer at blink and the guy seemed to have one general plan for everyone because he didn't incorporate anything I asked for and when I confronted him about it he insisted that I need a general plan to get in shape. I canceled after the third session. Max and Brandon are also great. Now, this location does get crazy crowded, especially on Mondays. Basically: Monday to Wednesday is crowded. The great thing is that almost no one does legs at this location,so those machines are available every day and night. The first day I went, a girl had her personal belongings scattered on the machine and on the seat of a leg machine. I thought it was the girl on the next machine and she informed me that the girl is on the other side of the room. I approached her to ask if she finished using the machine, while she was busy crab-walking with a resistance band, and she told me that she had one more set to do. I was like oh no not on my first day I can't tolerate this, so I went downstairs and informed Louis that a girl was holding a leg machine hostage while she was doing a different work out at the other side of the room. He went upstairs and took care of it right away. Ever since, I mostly just do legs, personal training, and classes. I am very happy here. In comparison to Equinox, which I also joined, this is the smart choice: bang for the buck, and no twelve month commitment. Equinox does have refrigerated minty fresh towels that I do love. Highly recommended. For anyone looking for great classes at Crunch I recommend the following: - Michael A - Chelsea - Mitchell - 54th - Adam - Chelsea

Crunch Chelsea is a standout gym, not just for its equipment and staff but for the atmosphere and vibe that make every workout feel inspiring. The lighting and ambiance are next level, it’s modern, cool, and designed to keep you motivated. The dimly lit training areas are balanced with vibrant pops of color that energize the space, making it feel more like an upscale creative studio than a traditional gym. The manager was incredibly helpful and kind, ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish. My personal trainer, Octave, was exceptional. Being French myself, I was thrilled to connect with a trainer who shared my background and understood my goals. Octave’s expertise working with artists, creatives, and models was evident, and his tailored approach was exactly what I needed. Crunch Chelsea combines style, substance, and an unbeatable vibe. Whether you’re there for the inspiring ambiance or top-notch training with Octave, this gym is a true gem. Highly recommended!

I absolutely love Crunch Gym at this location! The classes are fantastic, and the instructors are always motivating and supportive, which makes every workout enjoyable. Max, who helped me sign up last year, truly made a difference in my experience. He took the time to explain all the membership options clearly, ensuring I chose the plan that suited me best. Beyond that, Max has been incredibly helpful ever since – he’s always available to answer my questions, offer guidance, and make the gym feel welcoming and comfortable. His friendly and approachable attitude has made a big impact, and it’s clear he cares about the members' experience. Crunch is an amazing gym with great classes, a positive atmosphere, and staff like Max who genuinely go the extra mile. I highly recommend it! Inna

Crunch Fitness is one of the greatest experiences that I’ve had at a gym. Dahlia was so helpful and welcoming. She made me feel comfort and warmth with all of the support and information that she gave me with the entire gym and the process. I didn’t normally go to public gyms due to lack of confidence, but Dahlia helped me let go of all of the anxiety and fear that has to do with public gym. This gym is so dated 😩 so old looking. When are you even going to remodel and update your look and new equipment. It has to be one of the uglier gyms I've ever seen. Looks like a cheap gym from the 1980s or something. Just saying 😌 🤷BTW I'm being kind giving it 3 stars 🌟

Overpriced, Unprofessional, and Poorly Designed I recently joined this gym, hoping for a solid place to get my fitness routine back on track, but it’s been a huge letdown. Between the outrageous prices, poor design, and an environment that feels more like a photo shoot than a place to work out, I won’t be renewing my membership. First off, the design of the gym is terrible. The layout feels cramped and inefficient, -and its a 4 story gym... go figure! The locker rooms are another nightmare. Instead of being a place to get changed quickly and move on with your day, they’ve become a social media hotspot. People spend hours in the locker rooms, sitting around, taking pictures, and recording videos for Instagram. It’s not just a quick snap here and there—these people are practically living in the locker room, blocking the benches and making it impossible to change or even have some privacy. The staff seems completely oblivious to this issue, which only adds to the frustration. They are too afraid to say anything because of the "extreme progressive movement" or blasted on social media and being cancelled. And let’s not even get started on the pricing. This gym is far too expensive for what it offers. it feels like you're paying for a lot of fluff rather than real value. I could find a much better gym for half the price, where the equipment is more spaced out, the environment is focused on fitness, and I’m not paying for the privilege of having to fight for space or avoid selfie culture in the locker room. Overall, this gym is a total waste of money. Poorly designed, overpriced, and with zero regard for creating a serious workout environment, it’s not worth the hype. If you’re serious about your fitness goals, I suggest you save your money and find somewhere else that actually cares about its members.

“Terrible Experience – Adrea and Equinox Greenwich Ave Are a Complete Scam!” I had a Hydrafacial done with Adrea at Equinox Greenwich Ave, and it was hands-down the WORST facial experience of my life. I informed her multiple times beforehand that I have sensitive skin and needed her to be cautious. Despite this, she applied way too much pressure with the suction wand, leaving me with severe redness, irritation, and even scarring. This is completely unacceptable for a service that is supposed to be gentle and marketed as safe for sensitive skin. During the facial, I expressed my discomfort and brought up that my skin was becoming increasingly red and irritated. Instead of addressing the issue or adjusting her technique, Adrea dismissed my concerns and blamed my skin for being “too sensitive.” This kind of unprofessionalism is appalling, especially from someone representing Equinox, which prides itself on luxury services. I have had countless Hydrafacials before at other places and NEVER experienced a reaction like this. It is clear that Adrea lacks the skill and care to perform this treatment properly. Equinox, as a whole, is an outrageously overpriced scam. They charge obscene amounts for services and yet clearly don’t care about their customers. The level of disregard for my experience—both during the session and in its aftermath—is shocking. For what they charge, I expected far better treatment and professionalism. Instead, I was met with recklessness, dismissiveness, and damage to my skin. I am demanding a full refund for this disaster of a facial. Equinox needs to reevaluate both its staff and its approach to customer service because this is unacceptable. I strongly urge anyone considering their spa services to stay far away. Equinox is all flash and no substance—you’re paying for their ego, not actual quality or care.

Experiencing Equinox for the first time on a guest pass was a memorable occasion. While I was inclined to award a perfect rating, I withheld one star due to the noticeable wear and tear on some of the equipment. However, this minor flaw was overshadowed by the overall excellence of my visit. The front desk staff exuded warmth and hospitality, creating an inviting atmosphere from the moment I arrived. Navigating the gym was seamless, even during peak hours, as there was ample equipment available, ensuring the space never felt overcrowded. I eagerly anticipate beginning my membership and making Equinox a regular part of my routine.

Equinox Greenwich Avenue is widely recognized as NYC’s top gay gym, offering an atmosphere that’s unmatched in inclusivity and LGBTQ+ pride. This isn’t just a gym; it’s a space where LGBTQ+ members can workout freely, relax in the immaculate locker rooms and steam room, and feel completely at ease among like-minded individuals. The vibe here is distinct and vibrant, a true community setting where members find both fitness and camaraderie. Straight men, if you’re truly open-minded and comfortable in an environment where hot gay guys might flirt just as naturally as anyone would at any other gym, you’ll fit right in. Otherwise, there are plenty of other gyms in NYC! For those who value an inclusive, respectful, and fun vibe, this place is a true gem. 🏳️🌈💪

I'll give 4 stars for now because I only went once after work. I will say that I felt very comfortable at this location. I went to the one in the heights and felt weird cause everyone was staring at me as I walked in. At this location the staff was friendly and helpful. It was clean and I love the layout and how easy it is to find everything. It wasn't packed and I got there at 9pm. I wish they were open later on Friday Saturday and Sunday because when I get off work I like to go since it's in the area but they will be closed already. Planet Fitness offers a great variety of equipment for every muscle group, making workouts enjoyable and effective. As a Black Card member, I love the added perks like the massage chair and bed. Highly recommend!

I really enjoyed being a member here. The customer service was great and very attentive. This gym had a lot of different pieces of equipment and I felt that I did not have to wait at all for a certain machine to become available. Unfortunately I had to move and I did not want to continue my membership elsewhere but when I come back to NY I do plan coming back here. I loved the spacious bathroom and locker room. Very well put together as well as affordable plus accessible.

Staff are nice but management never fixed the machines, unfortunately seen this at all planet fitness locations. Lacking benches and treadmills/stair climber/other machines are out for several months and all thats said is they’re waiting on parts. Its clear the people that own this place do not actually care for maintaining it. Obviously not expecting anything amazing out of a budget gym, but this is just negligent.

short: great location for people that love stairs and working out without air conditioning. The only reason I tolerate this poorly managed location is because Mitchell is an amazing dance instructor. long story: My dance buddy Sam recommended that I go to this location for Mitchell's dance class on Sundays. Mitchell is a character. I don't agree with everything he says, but overall, he seems to have unlimited energy. He is great at making any person at any dance level feel welcome and supported. It's been several consecutive Sundays that the air conditioner is not on, and Mitchell is not able to turn it on because the management locks him out of the controls. At least Mitchell cares, and we all suffer through it as a team. It's ridiculous for the amount Crunch charges to members to not let the class instructors turn on the air conditioning. My personal trainer is out of town for the holidays, so I signed up for the boxing class on Saturday. I even purchased hand wraps that are required. I could feel from the start of the class that the air conditioning was not on. I assumed it wouldn't be much cardio, so I thought I could tolerate it, but the class turned out to be much more cardio heavy than I expected. I asked the instructor if the air conditioning was off. Unlike Mitchell, he told me to go talk to the front desk if I have a problem with the ac, so I left the class. I stopped by the front desk and asked them why the air conditioner is off every Sunday. The guy told me that the only person that has access to it is the operations manager, and when that person is out, no one can turn it on. WTF kind of operation is this? Crunch has classes seven days a week. People are paying over $100 a month, and no one can get an air-conditioned class the days that person is off? The management's practices are unacceptable. This is not Planet Fitness or Blink. I only go and recommend the dance class with Mitchell. For anyone looking for great classes at Crunch I recommend the following: - Michael A - Chelsea - Mitchell - 54th - Adam - Chelsea

It is a good gym, quite organized and with good equipment. But it really bothers me a lot that on many occasions they play with people's time, on several occasions they always open up to 40 minutes later than the time they have planned. An example of today, Thursday, November 28, 2024, they said they would open at 7 am and I was outside for 40 minutes in the rain and cold waiting for them to open and in the end I had to leave. The worst of all is that I took the pre-workout and to my surprise the gym was closed.

People are complaining about the recent renovations, but they did give advanced notice (I got multiple emails for weeks leading up to it in addition to signage around the gym) and extended access to other locations in the meantime. My experiences here have been almost entirely positive. If you’re looking for a straightforward, clean, safe gym, this is all of those things. The cost kept me away for a while but I honestly think it’s worth it just for a reliable and clean location close to home.

Awesome gym. Was there on a Saturday, not crowded, three floors of equipment. A little bit disorganized though, but still a great place to workout. So far the best Crunch location I’ve been to

It’s ridiculously crowded at times and a lot of people sit on machines texting. Also at around 5 the same group of grown men yell loudly at each other across the gym. It would be fine if it was a $30 membership. It’s a rip off for the price. Go to another gym if you can.

I am heartbroken that I need to: 1. Rate this location poorly, 2. Stop my membership. I recently switched to Equinox because of this location of lifetime. This location was the easiest access to me. However it is NOT WORTH IT! If you’re going to the other locations in midtown they are absolutely worth it. But this one has such a small area for weights/machines. It’s too small for me. There is only one of each machine so that means that you need to constantly be waiting to use another machine because someone must be using it. Also, one thing I really hate, I do not see any wipes to clean the seats. Maybe it’s just the times I went but I NEVER saw any wipes to clean the equipments and it’s so disgusting to think about. Maybe it’s just my OCD? But it was a major turn off and honestly the biggest factor as to why I made the heartbreaking decision to end my membership. Trust me I did not want to do that. Lifetime is the ultimate luxury gym. The changing rooms are gorgeous and the gym always smells AMAZING!!! Best scent I’ve ever smelled. If you are not a germaphobe like me, then go ahead and join Lifetime. I just can’t bring myself to justify having a membership when I feel uncomfortable or disgusted or paranoid when using the equipment.

I’ve been to fair share of gym in manhattan and recently retired from equinox. This place makes me feel positive energy and welcomed. Even the maintenance staff are friendly unlike equinox, I think that goes to show what type of company Lifetime is.

Kinda small but if you avoid off hours it's usually not busy and there's a good selection of weights & machines. Nice that there are multiple squat racks and benches. Kept clean and lockers are nice.

This is the smallest gym I’ve been to outside of a hotel. Very easily crowded. It is just too convenient to my office to not go.

Here now. People talking loudly ion their cell phones. Someone is clearly on drugs the way he’s waving his arms around. The girl next to me is wearing see through pants so we all know she’s wearing black panties. 2 super sad looking trainers. What are we all paying for?!? Where are the better options???

Went with a friend to join a class at 74th St. Have friends who have had day passes. Petite front desk woman at 8a on Thurs was extremely short with me and told me I had to speak with membership who wouldn’t arrive until mid morning. I was kind about the misunderstanding. She probably shouldn’t be at the front desk, doesn’t know how to interact professionally with clients. I was going to rejoin at the west side location, I was a member for many years pre Covid and now this interaction makes me rethink it. Unfortunate.

If you’re looking to resume your workouts after Labor Day weekend, find somewhere else. You’re going to work out in a hole in the ground with the AC not working at times, some other times, there is no hot water. Overcrowded classes (and it’s not even September yet). Also you better know how to properly do the exercises in the group classes, because none of the instructors is ever going to correct you. They come in and out, they don’t even look at you. This is what $300 a month get you in New York City.

Would be a great gym if the AC worked. The AC is constantly broken for months on end. Management is not helpful and refuses to provide credits even when the AC is broken in 90 degree heat. As far as I am aware, the AC has never worked properly in the cycling studio. I joined this gym so I’d be motivated to go- the heat in the gym leaves me motivated to stay home. Management is dismissive and not responsive of these concerns.

Just recently re-joined this gym and very glad I did! Andrew helped me get an amazing deal re-joining. Would definitely recommend.
