I have struggled with keeping up with fitness my whole life. I’ve tried boot camp classes, boxing classes, yoga classes, and just the regular gym and nothing has ever stuck for me. Being overweight always made me self conscious in these places and I’ve taken classes where instructors made me feel like I didn’t belong there because I wasn’t keeping up with everyone else. I wanted to try Pilates because I heard it would be good with my back pain and since it’s a low impact workout but I was scared because everyone here looks like they could be on the bachelorette lol. The first few classes were a little scary because I didn’t even know what a reformer was let alone how to use it but the instructors here were so great and patient (especially Marley!) She really took the time to show me how to use everything and would come by and guide me through it if I wasn’t doing something correctly. She gives modifications for every move and knows how to encourage me without making me feel bad. If you are looking into it and hesitant, I truly suggest giving it a try! I’ve been in it since February and love going to workout now when I used to dread it.

If I could give this place a negative star I would. I have never had such an awful interaction at a workout studio in my life. Today was my second class here. I’m 3 months postpartum and an avid Pilates person before I had my baby. This is the one peaceful moment of my day since becoming a mom and I truly look forward to my classes. I used to go to BeFit but since they have raised their prices significantly I decided to try something new. I saw that I was running 5 minutes late and I hussled my butt to get into class because I don’t like being late and I checked in with ClassPass and immediately got in exactly at 12:05. Mind you the class was half EMPTY and the teacher (Shelby) quite literally stood in front of me blocking the doorway and would not let me in. She said there’s a strict 5 min late policy (which isn’t posted anywhere on ClassPass description) and I proceeded to say “it’s 12:05 exactly” and she looked down at her watch and right as she did the clock turned 12:06 and she would NOT let me in. This is really bad for business. I could understand if the class was full but it was not. It was half full at best. I could even understand if I was 10 min or more late or new to this class and needed instruction but I was not. So I will NOT be returning to this studio. It’s unfortunate but I would rather pay way more for BeFit than be treated badly for being 5 min late to class. We live in a high traffic area. Life happens! This is not sustainable for a successful business. Good luck staying open for more than a year here!

I play in 5v5 turf soccer league. $50 for a season it's so much fun. Alot of cool people there. I walked inside the YMCA and there's lots of gym equipment and exercise classes in there.

Become a member today and start enjoying all of the benefits that the YMCA has to offer. This location has a full gym, sports areas, and a swimming pool. They also have several programs for the community to participate in. I recommend the Adventure Guides program for fathers and their kids. They also offer martial arts classes.

I stopped by to see if Mission Viejo Family YMCA was open. This is a great place for the entire family. They have basketball, a small soccer arena and lots of other things to do. This YMCA is clean and we'll taken care of. You should stop by to see for yourself how nice this YMCA really is. Highly recommend

Poor lifeguard etiquette with a lack of consistency in how they treat guests and especially when it comes to random rule implementations depending on which lifeguard you get. It is clear to the casual observer that they lack basic training and are unclear on rules themselves as often times they make them up as they go. Also, if you are a parent of small children I would strongly advise against using this facility if your child's safety is important.

I signed up here to try to get back into swimming. The lane reservation is a cool feature but I found that it was useless. The first time I went, there was another man occupying my reserved lane. The second time I showed up for my reserved lane, I got kicked out within five minutes because there was a "swimming lesson that took priority." The staff didn't really care to communicate what might have gone wrong. The pool also isn't very clean. The staff was friendly otherwise however, and the facility is nice, this place just did a poor job of serving my specific needs and I canceled my membership after two visits.
