Best Gyms with Resistance Machines near Hazlet, New-jersey

The equipment is good but locker room, pool, sauna, showers and hot tub need to be updated. ABC (billing) is the absolute worst. Cold and unapologetic would be an accurate description of management. Was really expecting more from this gym.

The gym itself is very nice with new equipment. Only 3 squat racks which is super unfortunate especially at busier times. Women’s locker room is very old with only 2 benches so no where to put down gym bags for changing. Many bathroom stalls do not lock.

I have been trying to cancel my gym membership for six months without success. When I visited the gym in person, I was told I needed to send an email to process the cancellation. I sent that email back in February 2024, but I am still waiting to receive a response. Every time I call, I’m told that the manager isn’t available and no one else can help me. Despite promises that someone will return my call, I have yet to hear back. I finally spoke to someone on the phone in May who was able to tell me my contract was until June. I said fine, but please have it auto-cancel. I reached out for confirmation that was never received. At this point, I feel the gym has unfairly taken nearly $300 from me, and I am extremely frustrated by the lack of resolution and communication.

Absolutely love this gym! The sauna is by far the best part always clean, relaxing, and a perfect way to end a workout. The staff is super friendly and helpful too. Highly recommend!

Great gym that is clean and has great amenities ! I joined because of their childcare option. My kids love going daily to see their favorite babysitters . Shayna along with all the other girls have made the gym something they look forward to.

Compared to the other planet fitness location I came from this gym definitely needs an upgrade. They need upgraded equipment and staff. The staff does a terrible job. Paper towels and disinfectant spray bottles always empty. I never see staff going around to clean or tidy up the gym such as putting weights back on the rack. This gym is also very small so it’s always crowded. Overall just not a fan of this location!

Only local 24/7 gym which is great due to my late working hours. Tons of equipment is constantly out of service and the water fountain is ALWAYS broken. They don't even offer free water to compensate

I go to the Hazlet location and have been a member of other gyms. Love going here for many reasons but some of the top are machines are kept in working order and gym is always clean. All of the staff I have interacted with are super engaged and friendly and professional. Cannot beat the value and this location is very well run and my go to for all workout needs.

Very clean and well-kept location. Encouraging crew and phenomenal service at the front desk. I would like to personally compliment John for being an excellent employee and walking me through the ropes of successfully signing up for the high school free-month program. He explained to me the valuable black card membership and the benefits that comes with it. Will be signing up soon. Thanks John!

Ive been going to this PF for quite awhile. Not bad at all. It Does what its supppsed to do. But whats the deal wth these people doing 1 set and then scroll the phone for 10 minutes? Just now i did 2 body parts and 20 minutes of cardio before this one woman got off the press machine that she wasnt even using... and had her sneakers off with her feet on the dumbell handles...dude...put your sneakers back on. Are we animals?Do something about celly use...work out and move it along for someone else. Wth
