Best Gyms with Resistance Machines near Cleveland, Ohio

My husband and I have been members of the Clifton Anytime Fitness since 2018. We have nothing but great things to say about the gym. A plethora of equipment, well-maintained machines, and a personable and competent staff. The facility is older but kept extremely clean/sanitized, particularly the bathrooms. The staff is very accommodating and customer oriented. I mentioned to the manager Jesse, it would be nice to have a set of York 12.5# dumbbells, and they were ordered that week! Responsiveness like this is why the Clifton AnyTime Fitness is going to remain my home gym for the foreseeable future. Highly recommend!

-The owner of this gym is completely checked out. Things break constantly and it takes way too long to get fixed. -The gym is filthy. See pictures. There are surfaces and floors in this place that haven't been cleaned in years. -The punching bag was broken when I started here over a year ago and has never been fixed. They stacked a bunch of heavy stuff on it rather than fixing it. -The punching bag was moved to be hung straight from the ceiling, and now swings and smacks into the ceiling tiles. See pictures. -Many of the free weights are missing stickers to indicate their weights. See pictures. -The parking lot is small and is supposed to be for anytime members only. There are signs posted warning people they will be towed if they park for anything else. People park here all the time to go to Starbucks and nobody has ever been towed. At peak hours, good luck finding a parking spot.

This has been my home gym for years now, and it is a great place for folks of all experience levels. It has everything you would need to start out, as well as most everything an intermediate or advanced weightlifter could need. Jesse, the gym manager, has continuously been improving the gym and just making it a great, welcoming place to workout. Having been to many AF gyms in the area, and in other states, the Clifton location remains one of the largest, with the most amount of equipment. I would recommend anyone who is just starting out, or may be intimidated by the thought of working out, come in the Clifton AF and meet with Coach James and Jesse. They will make you feel at home and get you going down the right path.

It is a nice little gym at Lakewood. I moved here a month ago and I have been going here regularly. Equipment are nice and clean, well maintained and the bathroom is clean. You have enough options on the machines so you don't have to wait if someone is using any particular machine. The area is big enough to accommodate weight lifting, cardio and warm ups. 5/5 because of friendly staff.

I am used to the Anytime in Avon where it is clean, friendly Covid wiped when I entered this Anytime, the smell was piercing , placed needs remodeling , the machine look like they never been wiped down . It was a dump that could be intimidated to walk in. Corporation should come and check on this franchisee . The people in that neighbor deserve better . The bathroom were filthy

Anytime Fitness at 3318 Warren Rd, Cleveland, OH 44111 is fantastic! The gym is clean, well-equipped, and accessible 24/7. Big shoutout to the Manager, Jesse for his exceptional support and motivation. Highly recommend for anyone looking to crush their fitness goals!

Space and equipment is limited, but it has everything you need to have a great training session. Not normally a wait for equipment either.

Cannot recommend this gym enough. Been coming here 5 days a week for over 3 years and with the new manager, Jesse (and his whole team), overseeing this location, it has only gotten better in every aspect. From expansion of equipment, to building a community of folks with the same goals, and keeping the gym setting clean and organized. If you’re looking for a great gym option, stop looking and come in.

Great gym. It's not huge and they don't have every piece of equipment you could possibly want (like a turf area or cardio rowers), but they've got most things. It's clean, I love the 24 hr access, and the people are chill. I guess the biggest downside for some is that they have small changing rooms, not locker rooms. There are lockers along the wall kinda in the open area. Helps to keep the price down probably, because their pricing is pretty great. It's been great going there as I'm coming back from a couple serious injuries that required surgery.

This gym is literally falling apart. I've been a member for nearly 10 years and it has significantly gone downhill in that time. Nearly every weight machine is missing grips (safety hazard) and/or has torn seats/pads (health hazard). There's a giant hole in the ceiling because the air conditioner broke several weeks ago. Most of the TVs in the gym need to be replaced. I've communicated these issues to the guys who run the gym multiple times and get the same answer: Everything is either on back order or there's no money to fix it. Yet, they just raised the monthly membership fees for everyone. I'll most likely be going to a different gym soon.

I love the gym. The staff is always very helpful and friendly. The gym and restrooms are always clean. Today i has to renew my membership. I spoke with Chris the trainer. He was very helpful and had my membership up and running in a matter of a couple minutes. Great job Fitness 19 and Chris the trainer!

Great gym! Affordable and has all the equipment you need! Staff is so friendly and willing to answer any of your questions. Cleanliness on point! People throughout are always friendly too. This gym has changed my life and Isaiah as my personal trainer has taught me so much! Never once have I felt uncomfortable walking in here. Defiantly worth it to stop by and see what this gym has to offer! You won't be disappointed.

Worker name Julie is very weird and unprofessional. If I were the owner, I would check in on this location every once in a while and see how weird and inappropriate this lady is. She thinks she is at the club, vs her place of employment. One of the weirdest gym staff I’ve ever met. She has made a few of us VERY uncomfortable, on many occasions. Would not recommend this location while she is working.
