The lifetime of sky is really nice especially in the pool where you can view the skyline from the pool. And every person was very friendly nice and nice staff. My only problem was I wish the spa area whirlpool and sauna Steemroom and cold plunge were in locker rooms.

Disclaimer: NO (free or metered) PARKING ANYWHERE. One of the behemoth gyms that make LifeTime not only worth it but a good deal. Outdoor sky pool, very nice cafe layout, basketball, etc. biggest problem is- who is it for? Locals. Super local. Like west of 9th Avenue. With no nearby subway and zero parking (tried for 40 minutes) you’re forced to garage your car for obviously a small nyc fortune just to use the gym making it not accessible. Parking right in front is plentiful but despite no signs, everyone said you’d be towed. Long story short- anyone who isn’t ok with walking a long distance to get here, avoid. This is the Tantalus of LifeTimes.

This place makes you feel like you can touch the Sky! The fitness floor is state of the art, classes are INCREDIBLE, the spa is lovely, the workspace is top notch, and don’t even get me started on the skydeck. The facilities are amazing, but the employees are really what make this place special. The team is tight knit and here to make your experience a fantastic one. I may be biased because I am a yoga teacher here, but I can honestly say that I love the people who I work with along with the members and completely support the company.

+One of the better quality gyms around the Hudson Yards area. +Good indoor pool and great indoor basketball court. Outdoor pool area is also very nice. +Nice wet room setup with sauna and cold plunge. +Decent amount of squad racks +Generally very clean and well looked after throughout +Kind staff -Weight area is one of the smallest I have seen for a gym of this size which is a major drawback. It gets very busy at rush hours and they only have two bench presses, two cross-cable machines and only two places to do neutral grip or wide-angled pull-ups which are almost never empty. -Weight plates are few and far in between. Same as dumbbells. The setup of the whole weights floor feels like it was an afterthought, not very functional. -Sauna temperature barely hits 180 which is not great if you are after the health benefits that are often researched on saunas at 180+. Also worth noting sauna seating is a single level near the floor and it has a high ceiling which means temperature at where you sit is likely lower than shown. -Access to outdoor pool requires an extra seasonal fee which is not cheap. -Locker room/bathroom area is very small for the amount of members who use this branch, has low ceiling which makes the place feel even smaller. Overall, if you live/work in the area, it is an ok option if most of what you do is classes/cardio. If you focus on strength training and lifting weights, it unfortunately leaves a lot to be desired.

Turkish Hammam and cold plunge are incredible!!! Rachel, taught a sweaty, intense Flow yoga class that was challenging and fun! cooling off in the cold plunge after a heated yoga class was a perfect combination! the rooftop pool was not available to use, even with my diamond membership. something about an agreement with the condos neighborhood association, and it's an additional pool pass. they wanted me to pay $100 for a day pass! but it wasn't on top of a skyscraper like the photos imply. it's on the eleventh floor of the building and the residences go up higher in a separate tower. pool didn't seem that exciting to be honest. just a shallow leisure pool. (our outdoor pool at home is better with waterslides and fountains and lap lanes.) so.... check out the Turkish Hammam....
