The Bad: - Too Expensive - 30% increase in 2 years (from $99/mo to $129/mo). I will probably leave soon due to the price, which is a shame because I would rather not. If it increases more I will definitely leave. - Classes do not run late enough. I guess this may be particular to me, but I would imagine other people are in a similar situation. By the time my wife get home to watch my child I find it very hard to get there for a 6pm or even 7pm class. - Food is extremely limited for vegans and those with similar dietary restrictions. I find this odd for a place that is supposed to have very healthy food. There are pre-packaged snacks and a few shakes, but not much at all in the way of hot or prepared food. - I have outdoor pool access even though I rarely use it. I don't like being stopped every time I use the pool. If that is because they charge even more for the pool then that is insane. The Good: - Hours are pretty good; used to be even better when membership was less expensive. - Classes are decent; not amazing. - Hot tub/sauna, etc. - Nice bathrooms - Pretty good equipment options - They sometimes add nice options like the recovery sleeves for your legs.

Had an amazing time at Lifetime today. I would definitely recommend. The ambiance, amenities and services are astounding and amazing. Indoor and outdoor pool, spa, cafe, sauna, etc.

This place likes to pass themselves off as high-end and fancy. God knows their prices reflect that perception. I decided to schedule a massage for my birthday on their site with a specific masseur I’ve used in the past. I had to choose the masseur and then an available time. My reservation was accepted and confirmed. Fast forward to my appointment. I arrived 10 minutes early, go through their front desk check-in, then proceed to the spa. I give my name and tell the receptionist I have a 3PM with Ron. She asks me if I’m new and I informed her I’ve had massages with Ron in the past. She then proceeds to tell me their scheduling system messed up and I was assigned to another massage therapist. I asked how this happened since I needed to choose the therapist before seeing their schedule. She rambled on about colors in the system and said she’s sure I did it correctly because I’m not the first person to whom this occurred. She then tried to offer me a “major discount” if I accepted the reservation with the assigned therapist. I flat out rejected it. Then she tried to rebook me with Ron but he had nothing available which worked for me. I told her to cancel the appointment and left. Her apologies were hollow and ineffective. For the prices Life Time charges, you’d think they’d address reservation system issues to avoid these situations. I had to laugh at their cancellation policy of 50% of the service charge if cancelled within 24 hours of the appointment. What happens when Life Time screws up my appointment and I can’t get the service I booked? Is there a 50% discount on my next booking (if I ever book another with them). This place needs to get their act together and resolve their issues.

We popped in to take a tour. Apparently you need an appt?! The guy behind the desk was way too cool to be bothered. The female was nice. She tired to help but was useless. They said everything is on the website but that sucks too. They literally lost 2 members because we probably would have signed up. Funny thing is they don't really care. Sticking with the YMCA in ambler. They're nice there and everyone is quite chill. No frills but I don't need them. Just a sauna and equipment. Glad my introduction to lifetime was a turn-off. Saved me from dropping money on a place where their customers dont matter. Not worth the price tag from the get.

Place is over-booked and too crowded. Especially the pool where retired swimmers, US olympics, groups or enthusiasts are occupying lanes literally for hours, making regular recreational customers wait... wait.... wait... and pissed off. No one cares. Started "repairs" are also gimmicky and fake. re-grouped treadmills from one side to another.... 2 weeks passed - nothing happened. Good business model... Unfortunately, no decent competitors to allow customers to switch to
